Author's Note: Hey, fanfiction readers! This is another oneshot for How to Train Your Dragon. This is a pretty short oneshot that takes place just before the opening scene of the short film Legend of the BoneKnapper Dragon. It's basically how Stoick, Hiccup and Toothless saw that Gobber's house was on fire.

Fire!
Hiccup was sound asleep in his bed in his house in Berk when he suddenly woke up to furious pounding on the roof of the house. It didn't take long for the boy to figure that it was his dragon, Toothless. He just let out a groan in response pulling the covers further over his head hoping that Toothless would stop and go back to sleep. However, for some reason, Toothless kept persisting and refused to stop jumping on the roof. Hiccup peeked out of the cover when he heard his best friend roar and growl as Toothless sounded…like he was panicking. Worried for his best friend, Hiccup finally gave in and slowly got out of bed to check on Toothless. He walked downstairs and suddenly found his father walking out of his room downstairs as well.
Hiccup slightly cringed when he saw Stoick rubbing his temple. "He woke you up, too?" he asked cautiously preparing to get an earful.
"Yes, he did," Stoick replied gruffly, "but he sounds upset about something. Is he alright?"
"I don't know. I was just going to check up on him."
"I'll come with you. Give that Toothless a piece of my mind."
Hiccup rolled his eyes and followed his father to the outside of the house. Father and son walked out the front door and looked up at the roof, where they found the Night Fury fidgeting around. Hiccup took note about how Toothless seemed like he was panicking about something.
"Toothless!" Hiccup called up to him getting the dragon's attention. "What's going on? Are you okay, bud?"
Toothless growled and crooned in response while gesturing his head for Stoick and Hiccup to look at something. The Chief and his son gave the dragon confused looks and decided to humor Toothless. They followed the direction he was pointing in causing their jaws to drop. Down in the village, they saw a fire!
"A fire…" Hiccup said. "Dad, there's a fire in the village!"
"Stoick! Hiccup!" a voice said unknowingly interrupting father and son's conversation. It was Spitelout, Stoick's second-in-command running up the stairs to meet them. "I was just coming to get you two."
"Spitelout, what in the name of Thor is going on?" Stoick asked frantically.
"It's Gobber's house! It's on fire!" said Spitelout. "No one knows how it started."
"Is Gobber okay?" Hiccup asked immediately worried for his mentor and confidante.
"There will be time for questions later, son. Right now, I need you to get Toothless ready," said Stoick. Hiccup nodded and quickly went to get Toothless. Stoick then turned to his second-in-command. "Spitelout, get the dragons and the villagers ready! I'll be down there as soon as I can!"
"You got it, Stoick," Spitelout said as he ran back toward the rest of the village while Stoick and Hiccup ran back to the house to prepare themselves to help their friend, Gobber.
