Anyways...disclaimer:I do not own Inuyasha, or else this scene would have happened. I first got the idea when I saw a picture of snow. Its my first fanfic...please review!

Enjoy!

Kagome sat on a bench in the park, wrapped in a scarf for the winter. Inuyasha was elsewhere eating ramen, but he was bound to be back soon. Very soon. He usually did when he finished his bowl of ramen.

She turned suddenly when she thought she had seen an apparition to her left. There was nothing there, but suddenly she felt abnormally cold air on the nape of her neck. Kagome turned so fast she heard her neck crack. The spirit behind her looked oddly familiar in his long braid and vivid red eyes. He was floating on his two wheels and was twirling his Raigekijin idly.

Her mouth formed a perfect 'O' at seeing him. "Hiten..." she said breathlessly.

He smirked, "Where is your precious doggy?"

"None of your business. Anyways, you can't do anything to me. You're just a ghost!"

"Oh really? I didn't come to haunt you, I was looking for Souten."

"Then you're off the mark by over five hundred years."

"Souten likes that little fox kit, does she not?" Hiten asked pensively.

"More than you think."

"I came here to see how she'd do in the future. Imagine my surprise when I saw you. But then again, you were always quite special, since nobody I knew wore that short of a yukata."

Kagome looked away and shrugged, "The school just has that kind of uniform."

"So are you two together?" Hiten asked suddenly.

"Who?" she replied, blushing slightly.

"You and that mangy mutt of yours."

"He is not mine, and no, we're not together."

"I suppose not. You'd probably look cuter with Manten."

"EXCUSE ME?"

"You don't have a hearing problem, do you?"

"Stop playing innocent! I don't have a problem and I resent what you said!"

The thunder demon shrugged, "Just saying…"

They fell into silence. The snow started to fall silently as the two very different individuals stood (or hovered) next to each other. Finally Kagome broke the silence.

"Is it fun to be flying?"

"Yes, why?"

"I never flew before…makes me wonder what the future brings."

"You can use my wheels."

"Umm…no thank you. I wouldn't want to wreck them again."

"Doesn't matter really, I fixed them."

"When?"

"When I felt like it."

"You must feel really proud," said Kagome sullenly. "I wish I could do amazing things too. All I can do is shoot a purifying arrow."

"He'll love you no matter what."

"You mean unconditionally?"

"I think you do have hearing problems."

"Forget that. Why are you here?"

"I told you, by accident, and I'll be leaving."

"…will I see you again?" the girl asked sadly. She was tired of sitting in the snow, and longed for company.

"Perhaps."

Suddenly, Hiten leaned down and planted a small kiss on Kagome's cheek and whispered, "Perhaps not too. Do you want to?"

And before Kagome could do a thing, he took off into the grayish skies, grinning cheekily. The girl gently put her hand on her face, the part where he kissed her, with a dreamy look on her face. "Perhaps. Perhaps."

Inuyasha found her like that a fifteen minutes or so later. The snow was falling heavier now, and even he began to feel chilled, but the priestess seemed to be surrounded by a strange blue light. He couldn't get her to move, and could only sit helplessly by the one he loved as she obliviously continued to look at the point that the thunder demon has last appeared in.
