Anakin's Surprise

Part story came from Star Wars: clone wars. Anakin has something to ask Dormé. What will it be?
Chapter 1
The morning grew into noon as Anakin waited for Dormé to return from the Senate meeting she was now attending. Since becoming Senator, his beloved had been busier with the Army Creation Act in full swing; he missed her a lot. This creation act would help the Jedi out since there wasn't enough to go round anymore plus the marriage law which for so long had banned Jedi from having families, being lifted because of the dwindling numbers of the Jedi. The catch was one had to be knighted before they could even start dating someone because they needed the senior Padawans to concentrate on more advanced training. He snickered as he remembered Sabé telling him how Obi-Wan had drug her off to a Holy Man right after Qui-Gon's funeral to get married. Didn't even give her a chance to change out of her handmaiden clothes.
While waiting for Dormé to return, Anakin's comlink on his wrist beep once displaying his Master's image.
" Yes, Master, what is it?" Anakin asked irritatingly.
" The Jedi Council requests our presence immediately. Meet me at outside the council chambers in a few minutes."
Anakin didn't say anything in return; when the image disappeared, he walked over to the sitting room table, grabbing a datapad, he typed a quick message for his beloved. He set the datapad down on the table then turned to leave.
Dormé entered her apartment hoping to find Anakin waiting for her but all she found was an empty place. She noticed the datapad laying on the couch with a message from Anakin. It appeared he had been called to the Jedi temple by his Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. This was going to be long wait.

Back at the Jedi Temple, Anakin approached Obi-Wan knowing he was going to get a lecture for being late.
" You're late young one. The council will not take to well to you being tardy." Anakin gave annoyed groan as he walked to the window pulling off his hood. " Am I late for another scolding?"
" You're not a little kid anymore but you are my Padawan and as long as you remain so you listen to me," said Obi-Wan's temper rising a little.
" I know I'm not and you're not Qui-Gon Jinn either," said Anakin turning to glare at his Master.
Obi-Wan was taken aback by Anakin's words but then Anakin instantly regretted what he said. The stress of not being Knighted then being kept away from Dormé for so long by this grated on his nerves. Anakin apologized: " I didn't mean it master."
Obi-Wan features softened: " I know. I also miss him and now we become brothers."
Anakin looked at his Master quizzically as he door to a darken room opened; he entered as his master snuck in behind him. Suddenly eleven lightsabers lit up in an upward position and Anakin found himself standing in a circle. Master Yoda stood on a stool with his lightsaber facing down. Anakin looked at his Master smiling knowing what going to happen; he was finally becoming a Jedi Knight.
Dormé looked out her apartment window straight at the Jedi Temple wondering if the council had found out she and Anakin were seeing each other. She sighed wondering if everything would be alright. Just then her handmaidens emitted gasps as someone barged in demanding to see her. Dormé hurried into the sitting to find out what the commotion was.
" Anakin, what are you doing?"
" Dormé I'm a knight now which means ..." he trailed off getting on one knee.
" Will you marry, Dormé? I can't live without you and I love you with all my heart. Please say yes."
She stood there in shock for a few seconds then answered: " YES! YES! I WILL !
