A/N: Hey there! So this little one-shot is a holiday present for everyone one who has author-alerted me or just clicked on this story from the list. I know that most of you are anxiously waiting for the new chapter of Breaking and Mending. I'm sorry!! To be honest, I'm having a really hard time with it so if you have any ideas for it, please message me. Hopefully this story will make up for my absence in the LoVe world. So enjoy!
P.S.: If you haven't noticed I changed my Pen-name (it was previously original-rebel). Sorry for the confusion!
From now on, I will be known as vee28.
"Logan, what the hell are you doing?" Veronica asked as soon as she walked into their bedroom.
"What does it look like I'm doing Mars?" he said as he stood on the foot stool, his face focused on the task at hand.
She chuckled at his use of her maiden name. "It looks like your hanging mistletoe…all over the ceiling," she said with her arms crossed.
"Bingo! I knew I married a smart girl," he smirked as he finished hooking the small plant. He got down from the stool, fetched another mistletoe and climbed back up; placing the holiday plant only a few feet away from the previous one.
Veronica watched him "But the question is why are you hanging them all over the ceiling?"
"You're a detective Veronica. Figure it out," he got down from the stool and walked over to his wife. He placed his arms around her waist and leaned down to kiss her. They both smiled into the kiss. Logan suddenly picked her up gently and waltzed her around the room.
"Logan!" she squealed "What the hell-" she was cut off by his lips. He continued to carry her around. "…are you-" she began again but was cut off by another kiss. "…doing?" she whispered and then kissed him back.
He placed her down on the bed and pointed up. Directly above them was a huge clump of mistletoe. He kissed her with the passion and love that had kept them together for so long. When they broke apart, she smiled at him. "Explain mister,"
"That, my dear Veronica, is my master plan. Every night till the holiday season is over, I get to carry you around this room and kiss you all I want,"
She smirked "And what if I disagree with all this kissing?"
"Ah-ha! You can't, mistletoe rule. Plus I doubt you can deny me," he winking.
"Aren't you cocky," they both laughed and laid down on the bed, "What's with the huge monster mistletoe?"
"Well…" his signature smirk was plastered to his face "if one mistletoe means kissing then a bunch mean…. And it's over the bed for a reason."
She laughed "Nice try Mr. Echolls, but look at what that got us into," she placed her hand on her swollen abdomen.
He smiled and crawled down the bed to kiss her stomach. "What do you think baby? Is mommy too uptight?" He looked up to her and stuck out his tongue. "See, she agrees with me,"
"Cause she's already spoiled by you! She's not due for another two months and she already has a room full of toys,"
"Only the best for my lil princess," Logan kissed Veronica's stomach again before laying his ear on it, hoping to hear his daughter.
Veronica ran her hand through his hair. She stared at him with a smile on her face. "I love you," she said.
Logan looked up to her and smiled back. "I love you to," They kissed and smiled at each other. "Now about that huge monster mistletoe…"
"Logan!" And with that, laughter filled the Echolls household.
