PROLOGUE
WHATS UP GUYS THIS IS THE ULTIMATEZ AND YOUR READING ANOTHER LOVE. FYI THIS IS ACTUALLY THE FIRST DRAGON BALL RELATED FANFIC THAT IVE WRITTEN SO FAR ON THIS SITE AND IF YOUVE READ THE DESCRIPTION THIS WILL BE A GOKU X CAULIFLA STORY. AT FIRST I WAS HESITANT ON WRITING THE FIRST CHAPTER OF THIS STORY BUT I MUSTERED UP THE COURAGE TO FINALLY PUBLISH IT. ANYWAYS THIS CHAPTER WILL ACTUALLY START OFF AFTER GOHAN DEFEATED CELL IN A TIME WHERE GOHAN DIDNT TOY WITH HIM SO GOKU WILL BE ALIVE AND YOULL SEE WHY...

Goku looked on from where he was standing along with the rest of the z fighters looking over the conclusion of a battle deciding the fate of the earth. On the battlefield Gohan could be seen standing in front of a huge crater with a large cloud of smoke just clearing up. His golden spiked super saiyan 2 hair still glowed vibrantly along with sparks of energy crackling around him giving off a more menacing presence. Cell had finally been defeated, wiped off the face of the earth without a trace. Peace had been restored. "I knew you could do it Gohan" Goku spoke mentally whilst sporting a smile of proudness for his son. He let out a sigh as he reverted from his super saiyan state back to his base form with his golden spiked hair dropping back to his jet black palm tree like hair.
The Z fighters moved from their current positions and flew over to the teenaged half saiyan. Gohan let himself revert back to base form while releasing a sigh of relief like his father. "You finally did it Gohan you defeated cell!" Goku complimented his son with a hint of proudness in his voice. Gohan could only smile as he looked towards his father. "I did but I couldn't have done it without you dad, you knew I had more potential then I realized and if you hadn't made me fight cell with everything that I had then we wouldn't be here" Gohan responded. Goku could only chuckle whilst scratching the back of his head. "Save the celebrations for later we should probably take android 18 to the lookout so Dende can properly heal her" Piccolo spoke up, referring to android 18 currently passed out in Krillins arms. Prior towards cells defeat Gohan delivered a devastating kick to cells stomach causing him to spit out 18 and revert back to his second form only to be wiped out in an instant as soon as he did. "Your right and we should also use the dragon balls to revive everyone that was killed by cell a couple of days ago" Goku replied. "Then what are we waiting for let's go!" Gohan said as the Z fighters took off into the sky flying in the direction of the lookout.
THE Z FIGHTERS HAD USED THE DRAGON BALLS TO REVIVE EVERY HUMAN BEING THAT WAS KILLED AT THE HANDS OF CELL PRIOR TO THE CELL GAMES WHILE AT THE SAME TIME HEALING THE DOWNED ANDROID 18. AFTER REMINISCING THE RECENT EVENTS THE Z FIGHTERS RETURNED TO THEIR RESPECTIVE LIVES IN PEACE AFTER SAVING THE EARTH FROM TERROR ONCE AGAIN. ALL COULD BE SAID EXCEPT FOR GOKU AND GOHAN WHO WERE CURRENTLY FLYING HOME EXPECTING TO SEE A HAPPY CHI CHI WAITING FOR THEM WITH A WARM EMBRACE. HOWEVER UPON ARRIVING THEY RECEIVED THE OPPOSITE...
Goku and Gohan were met with a fuming Chi chi standing in their home with her fist clenched at her sides whilst glaring daggers at Goku. "YOU IDIOT HOW COULD YOU LET OUR SON BE PUMMELED BY THAT THING!" Chi chi shouted with rage as she referred to the battle between Gohan and Cell where at some point Cell got the upper hand and overpowered Gohan before the half saiyan could awaken his inner potential. "But mom I'm fine!" Gohan defended his fathers actions only to be met with a glare that made his blood run cold. "Is fighting and training all that matter to you?..." Chi chi asked softly with tears threatening to spill from her eyes. "Could you at least spare some time in your life to just settle down for once?" She asked with a quivering voice. "Can't we at least just live like a normal family every now and then?" She questioned. "Chi Chi I train and fight to protect all of you, I don't just train because I enjoy it, I train because I can't let anything happen to you or Gohan" The orange clad fighter responded as he stepped forward to wipe the tears off of his wife's face only to be rejected immediately with a slap to his hand. "I just can't take seeing my husband or my son come home like this!" Chi chi referred to their current state with their fighting gi"s torn up and flesh battle worn.
"Chi Chi..." Goku spoke softly. "I can't do this anymore Goku..." the woman replied as she pushed past them and walked out the door. Both saiyans could only stare in disbelief. "Mom?..." Gohan whispered softly as he watched his mother walk away from their home. Worst could be said for Goku as said saiyan was currently looking down towards the wooden floor with his mouth partly open and eyes shrunk almost as if he were paralyzed. Many thoughts ran through the saiyans mind as he tried to comprehend what just happened. First they come home after saving the earth from Cells clutches only to be greeted with this? All those previous memories and interactions between him and Chi Chi crossed his mind. Everything that had led up to this point between them just exploded into this confrontation filled with anger, and pent up frustration and sadness. However he was snapped out of his thoughts when a baby could be heard crying from one of the rooms as Goku moved from his current spot and headed towards the source of the crying with Gohan in tow.
A small crib could be seen in the master bedroom with said baby crying loudly. The young child strikingly resembled Goku sporting the exact same hairstyle and traits as his father. Goku reached in and held the child comfortably in his arms immediately calming the newborn down. Their son Goten had only been born recently prior to the cell games after Goku and Gohan had returned from the hyperbolic time chamber when chi chi was a couple of months pregnant.
Goku could only stroke the newborns face as he was still trying comprehend what had just occurred with chi chi.
A lively and happy family was now an incomplete shadow of its former self...
AND THATS A WRAP FOR THE PROLOGUE THIS WAS MAINLY WRITTEN JUST TO SEPARATE GOKU AND CHI CHI NOW SO IT WOULDN'T BECOME A BURDEN IN THE FUTURE. THE STORY CAN NOW ACTUALLY BEGIN IN THE NEXT CHAPTER. ANYWAYS PLZ REVIEW AND GIVE FEEDBACK TOO AS IT WILL HELP ME OUT ALOT SO I CAN SEE WHERE I NEED TO IMPROVE ON IN ORDER TO MAKE THIS STORY GOOD
