DISCLAIMER: I don't own Daa Daa Daa. Just a mere fan…

It was a summer day in Heiomachi. The same thing everyday in the Saionji temple, Wannya does the house work, Ruu plays with Momoka and of course, Miyu and Kanata fight over senseless things. For Kanata, he finds their fights amusing as time goes by.
Everything was perfect for him. They all got along quite well. The noise he once thought had turned into an everyday melody. A disaster turned to a miracle.

But one phone call ruined everything. Miki Kouzuki's call for Miyu. Kanata answered the phone and handed the handset to Miyu. As Miyu talked to her mother, and probably her father too, her sweet smile turned into an emotionless one. He jumps to a conclusion that she'll be leaving for America.

Kanata began to feel scared. He asks that to himself but all he can answer is nothing. Later, he realizes that he's scared of losing Miyu. He tried to imagine his former lifestyle, alone in the temple. Silence all around. Boredom.

He tried to imagine losing Miyu. But he's not losing her since he doesn't own her in the first place. He recalls the memories they have made in the temple, at school and at various places. He felt moved. Tears began to form but he stopped them. He rubbed his eyes so they wouldn't notice.

As Miyu hangs up, she lets out a deep sigh. Kanata tried to act cold and distant in order to hide his true feelings. He did that for two days. He barely spoke to his housemates. Until…

"Kanata," Miyu calls out one evening as the brunette makes his way to his bedroom.

"What do you want?" he asked nonchalantly.

"I need just one minute with you."

"You've got it."

"Why are you acting strange?"

"Who knows?"

"C'mon, spill it!"

"I don't know"

"Don't give me such a stupid answer. I am not as stupid as you think."

Kanata refused to answer. Miyu remembered the time when she talked to her mother.

"Or are you worrying about somebody who's gonna leave?"

He looked at the blonde. "Ain't I right?" she asked.

He didn't respond since he doesn't know what to say. To either agree or disagree.

"Don't worry… I think you shouldn't jump to conclusions. Ask me if you want to know anything so you don't' have to make wrong assumptions." Miyu said.

"But what did you and your mom talk about?" he asked.

Before she could even answer (or think about it), red shades began to invade her face. So she just said, "Nothing! Really… Nothing really important and it's a matter of only a mother and a daughter."

The truth is her mother is teasing her with Kanata. How lucky she was to have a bishounen like Kanata.

"Oh yeah…" he broke in to her thoughts. She looked at him. "You said I can ask you, right?" he asked. Miyu nodded. Kanata's face began to flush. "Well, I have realized this only when I didn't talk to you for two days." He started. "…and you see…"

His face began to look like a tomato. "I… don't be mad okay?" he said. Miyu just nodded. "Well I… I… Like… you…" Kanata said while looking at the ground. "Do you feel the same thing too?" he asked hesitantly. But the answer he got is more than the hits he expected. I was a soft kiss on the cheek.

"I guess that's self-explanatory. You could understand that, ne?" Miyu said with a blush.

"Good night"
"Good night, too"
