Chapter (Not quantified): Other:

Mioraine Damodread charged into the fight when Lanfear began harming many surrounding people nearby, being backhanded out of the way by the crazed Forsaken. The blow stunned Mioraine, jarring her to her toes. She flew backwards and skidded to a stop across the floor of the large room. She was insensate. Agony and semi darkness was all that Miroaine knew. Then, a thought that jolted her to full awareness once again dawned on her. this is how it was to be. It had been written. Possessed by this knew knowledge, Mioraine cautiously calculated where everybody was. She could not risk Rand cottoning on and ruining it all. This could not be all for not. It must be carried out this way. She grunted as she hurled herself at the Forsaken, hitting her squarely. She hit the other woman with the force of an enraged bull bursting through a blueberry bush. Was that a snap? Lanfear's rib? Her own shoulder? Miorane did not know nor did she care. Mioraine realized that she too was air born. the two women were abruptly sucked into an infinite void.

Rand fell to his knees in the wagon he found himself in much later and, through a salt laden waterfall of sorrow, he read Miorane's letter over and again. alone. Among the silent screams.

Bouncing and, rolling across a new surface, the two women burst through the red doorway with joint grunts of pain and, shock. after gathering themselves properly, Lanfear stood to her fullest height. Eventually, as did Moiraine. Moiraine glared at the other woman as her heart raced. Her heart vibrated in her chest. She wondered why why this was. Lanfear brushed off her dusty dress and, snarled. Abruptly, loosing control, Lanfear thrust out a fist and let fly a searing bolt of bale fire. Moirane nearly ducked. then, she stood fast. If this was it, let it be, she told herself firmly. this had been p prophesied. This was her final day. It was foretold. It was the end. She prepared to die. But then, no heat. No white, searing white light. Utterly bewildered, Miraine gazed around. A mist had begun to form. Lanfear screamed as a shadowy figure stepped forth. "Stop!"

Mirane gasped as she saw Lanfear prepare to let free with another bolt of bale fire. "Lanfear don! We don't know what bale fire will do to the weave in this pla-" too late. "To

"To the Dark One's festering guts with the pattern!" Lanfear spat over her shoulder. Moiraine had closed her eyes on the first bale fire blast. The second, she had her eyes wide open.

"Light!" Mirane gasped as what she saw next stole her heartbeat. A small creature darted out of the misty shadows and, ate the bale fire. Just gone. Her spine froze in pure terror. Seeing this, eyes widening, Lanfear ripped open a gateway, dove through and, vanished from sight. It was at that point that Miorane, screaming was taken by Genjai's inhabitable.
