"I can't believe you right now teme!"
Sasuke stayed quiet.
"I hate you." He whispered quietly.
Sasuke bit his lip.
"Naru-"
"Don't say my name."
The blonde boy sighed running his fingers through his hair.
Sasuke stood the chair scraping behind him.
"You were right…" Sasuke looked behind his shoulder over at the blonde teenager sitting at his small table, hands covering his face.
"About what?" the blonde challenged his voice cracking.
"I do love you, whether or not you believe it dobe. You got under my skin, and now, I'm in love with you…"
Naruto looked up. In a flash he was infront of his ex-friend looking into his deep onyx eyes with hurt blue ones.
"Don't like teme…" he challenged more, narrowing them to slits.
Sasuke stared back his vision unwavering.
"Then why are you leaving Sasuke?" Naruto pleaded sadly, as the raven walked around him.
Sasuke looked back, his hand on the handle of the front door of Naruto's apartment.
"So you can save me."

Naruto sat up in his bed, beads of sweat clinging to his tan skin, he held his shirt in a fist, his heart beating hysterically under his ribs. Looking around the lightly lit room from the moon he realized it was a dream.
"Sasuke…"
Naruto has a mission. He was never assigned to save the last member of the Uchiha clan, but so help him he was going to. Whether or not it cost him his life.
Sasuke would always be worth that much to him.
No matter what happened.
He would fight for Sasuke.
Because no matter how deep sasuke became enveloped in the darkness of his revenge.
Naruto would save him.
