" Annabeth!" I heard someone shout behind me.
I turned around and was stunned to see a large minotaur heading straight for me and right before I moved a muscled figure jumped in front of me.
While the other campers attacked and defeated the minotaur , I knelt to the ground to see who was the brave soul who saved my life. But when I looked at his face I realized it was my best friend Percy Jackson.(no Percy did not swim in the Styx)
" Three." said Clotho
" Seaweed brain , are you alright?" I asked, shaking him. The campers were celebrating that the camp was safe but then all of their eyes turned to me and Percy.
" Seaweed brain this isn't funny." I said still shaking him, I realized my wet salty tears were coming from my eyes and landing on his cheek. I was hoping that he would soon jump up with a big grin plastered to his face saying ' Gotcha Wise girl'. But he said nothing, he just laid there getting paler.
"Percy please get up." I begged.
" Wise girl…"
" Oh my gods Percy thank the gods." The gods I realized were actually there around us along with the other campers. Staring intently at us like they knew something but I didn't.
" Wise girl I won't be here for long, I just wanted to say I love you Annabeth Wise girl Chase." He said breathing frightfully slow.
" Percy don't say that your going to be ok."
" Annabeth please take care of yourself and find someone who will never leave you."
"Two." said Lachesis
" Percy, please no don't leave me." I whispered.
" I would never leave you Annabeth I'll always be in your heart forever."
" I love you Percy Seaweed brain Jackson." I chocked out through my sobs, Percy's eyes began to water and more and more tears fell off his cheek.
" I'll always miss and love you forever." He then kissed my hand.
" zero." said Atropos, snipping the rope that held Percy's life.
Slowly his body became pale and limp, there was no trace of life in him. I sat there crying wishing I could be in his embrace again.
