It was late. The only light on in the small little town of Station Square was that of Moe's bar. In a booth sitting all by his lonesome was that of a dark figure. An ebony and crimson streaked hedgehog, that went by the name of Shadow.
"I'll have the usual, just one shot of whiskey."
While the bartender prepared his drink, Shadow looked up at the clock. It was a little after midnight.
Shadow drank, but no matter how much he drank. It didn't make him feel any less lonely.
"I wonder if she'll call tonight." Shadow said aloud as he thought about the Pink hedgehog.
Shadow had given her his number just in case she realized that she was alone. He figured it was only a matter of time before she just couldn't take her heart getting broken by that blue faker again.
He continued to take shots as he waited.
All alone in her house, a pink hedgehog was looking through her pictures and throwing away the ones that included a certain blue hedgehog. Amy Rose was crying as she did so. Sonic had broken her heart too many times. Amy was so alone. Tears streamed down her face.
"I don't know what to do." Amy whispered to herself. "I feel so empty inside. I don't think anyone feels as lonely as I do now."
Then Amy thought about it. There might be one person more alone than she was.
She started to go towards the phone.
She started to dial his number. She thought he was crazy when he had given it to her.
"Call me, when you need somebody." He had said in that gentle voice that he only used when he spoke to her.
The phone rang.
No answer.
Then on the third ring he answered.
"Hello?" Spoke his deep dark yet gentle voice.
"Shadow." Amy almost whispered her eyes still filled with tears.
"Amy?"
"I need you…."
"I'm at the bar….Moe's… come meet me."
Amy looked at the clock. It was a quarter after one.
Once Shadow put his cell phone down, he looked at the clock. It was a quarter after one.
He drank another shot. He was slightly drunk.
Then he stared at the door waiting for the girl to enter.
He couldn't stop thinking of that girl no matter how hard he tried.
Amy Rose was thinking about Shadow and she realized that she did think about him a lot lately. It was when she started to realize that Sonic was just playing her for a fool. Stringing her along instead of manning up and telling her how he really felt. But tonight he proved it, when he skipped their date to go out with someone else. She had seen them. Laughing, smiling and then they had kissed. Tonight was the last straw. She would no longer think of the blue speedster.
She ran towards the bar with all of her might. Every fiber in her being wanted to not be alone.
Then she opened the door.
The bell on the door rang when she had entered.
Shadow stood up as the girl ran up to him.
She ran into him and for a moment his eyes widened and then he embraced her.
"I'm so alone Shadow." Amy whispered into Shadow's white chest fluff.
"I'm alone too Amy." Shadow whispered gently into her ear.
"I need you." She said.
"I need you too Amy." He whispered.
He then lifted her muzzle so that her eyes looked into his.
"I love you, Amy." Shadow spoke.
He then leaned down and kissed her.
When he broke away from her she looked up at him and then whispered.
"I love you, Shadow."
"We're both alone but we can be alone together." She said as she leaned up and returned his kiss.
This is my first Oneshot. I hope it was ok. ^^"

ShadowGUN101: "Maybe."
