Darkness and Light, Into the Chaos!
I felt the power Cinder was radiating as she tried to punch the illusion on the table, her fist coated in flames. She was good. This was out of my league. She came out the window and realized she had been fighting an illusion. "Nice trick." she commented. "You've gotten stronger, but so have I." She launched a fireball at me. I blocked it with my umbrella, same as when blondie had shot her gauntlets at me. I put my umbrella over my shoulder like I always do, Roman's hat on my head, a frown on my face.
I hate her. If it weren't for her Roman would have never been on that ship, never would have gotten eaten. His death is her fault. She claims she isn't responsible, it makes my blood boil. Cinder tells me to find Red. I was planning on that, in case this went wrong and I had to run. The fog covers me but not for long as I attack.
She conjures twin swords, that was new. She usually needs some material to work with, not just thin air. She blocks me a few times, I hit her more. She's saying we both have a grudge against Red. I don't. She was just doing what she thought was right. It wasn't like she had intended to kill either of us. She just didn't have the heart for something like that. Red would have beaten us if she could and put us back in Roman's cell.
"Listen!" she snaps, beginning to float. She wants to discuss how we can both kill Red. I can feel even more power. I can't win. But...maybe they can. Yes. Red and her team were together, they could beat Cinder. Or at least wear her down so I can slide my blade through her throat. I flip my umbrella behind my back, a way to show her I'm done fighting. "Okay then, let's talk." I point at my throat, rather annoyed. "Right." she almost sounds apologetic at that.
I don't really care. We'll find Ruby. We'll track her to Atlas and when we find her, Cinder will fall.
Kill for Kill, eye for eye, blood for blood. This isn't over. I'll kill Cinder, and I'll make sure Roman can rest knowing the one responsible for his death is burning in hell. I won't fail.
So, I can't see any other way for this to play out. I mean Cinder is the one responsible for Roman's death when you look at the facts, and we all know Ruby wouldn't kill either of them even if she could win, which she really couldn't as was already shown.
