STRAWBERRY PANCAKES!
DON'T MAKE ME WAIT FOR IT!
Hollar! So I decided to do a one-shot to get me into the writing mood for the next chapter of Call Me. Yay for airport romance! And a funny part at the end. Well, at least I thought it was funny. Oh, and please disregard the title. Lost a bet to dear old sis... Here goes!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
2 hours. 9 minutes. 36 seconds. All of which are full of clueless airport security, tedious security checkpoints, and irritatingly loud crowds. Not to mention the nervous breakdown inducing boredom. Good times, good times.
For Yuriy Iavanov, however, the 2 hours, 9 minutes and 36 seconds are worth it, because soon enough (hopefully), the one he's waiting for will step off that plane and into his arms. Of course, he might be too cramped from sitting there too long to even get up by then.
Not pleased by this thought, he decides to get up and walk around the waiting area for a bit. This particular one is currently being occupied by himself and a scared looking black haired girl with glasses and a camera. The carpet his (stylish) black boots are pacing across is a pale grey color, as are the chairs. It's an ugly shade, but it reminds him of a much prettier shade, which he will hopefully see soon…
"I hate flight delays!" he barks out, to no one in particular. Paranoid-photographer-girl nearly dies from fright; she lookes seconds away from bolting. The blue eyed blader rolls his eyes.
Sighing in irritation, he turns to the large window and looks out, folding his arms. Planes are arriving and departing, one after another. His thoughts quickly return to the person on the plane he's waiting for. He glances at his watch. 2 hours, 15 minutes, 43 seconds.
His attention is suddenly drawn to a series of loud complaints coming from a group of pissed looking travelers. "I cannot BELIEVE we got delayed that long!" "I'm late for my job interview! How am I going to feed my cats!" "We should file a complaint!"
Delayed flight? Maybe- "Hey Red!"
"Bryan." The redhead breathes, a tired grin spreading across his face. The silver eyed blader walks quickly into Yuriy's embrace, eagerly taking in the warmth.
Bryan soon draws his boyfriend into a loving kiss. Yuriy's arms are around his neck, and his arms are securing his waist, and the cutest hint of a blush is spreading across their faces.
Suddenly there are several bright bursts of light and flashing sounds. They jump apart, startled. Looking around, the pair spot paranoid-photographer-girl sprinting through the crowds like the hounds of hell were are at her heels, and they can make out 'Tochigi Prefecture Yaoi Fanclub' on the back of her shirt.
Bryan growls, clearly pisssed, and Yuriy chuckles. "Well," he snickers, "I was getting kinda tired of saying 'take a picture, it'll last longer' anyway."
Now safe in the ladies restroom, paranoid-photographer-girl, a.k.a. Toki, pulls out her cellphone. "Hey, Queen Bee? Yeah, this is Toki. Yeah, I did it. Christ, I was so scared! Why'd you have to pick me again? That's not true, I'm sure Kaiyo can run faster than me! Tala is scary, and Bryan is scarier up close than you'll ever know! Hotter too, though... Anyway, I'm getting my Rei plushie when I get back, right? Okay, bye."
