A/N Calvin's babysitter, Rosalyn, and the Bumsteads' daughter, Cookie, appear to probably be the same age and grade in school. Despite the different artistic styles, they both appear to be high-schoolers. I suspect Cookie would probably babysit Elmo Tuttle a little bit; after all, he is a neighbor, and I myself babysat a neighbor boy a number of times when I was in my late teens and early twenties who was about the same age as Calvin and Elmo—but not as fun as Calvin, nice as Elmo, or as good as my boys… At any rate, Rosalyn and Cookie meet in the concessions line at a football game...
"Babysitting money sure comes in handy at a time like this," said Cookie, pulling out a single ten-dollar bill.
"Yes, it certainly does," said Rosalyn, pulling out a handful of twenty-dollar bills.
"Wow, you must babysit a lot!" said Cookie.
"Nah, nothing like that. I just babysit this one kid who causes a lot of trouble, so I charge his parents a whole lot more. They are desperate to get out sometimes, so they pay it willingly...even the extra fees I tack on sometimes."
"Oh, no kid can be that bad!" exclaimed Cookie.
"Calvin certainly is. Let me tell you what he did last night..."
