I have once again started watching power rangers, and have absolutely no shame in doing so. I liked RPM; I find that I'm always more attracted to the grittier seasons of Power Rangers in which they actually deal with darker themes (post-apocalyptic world in RPM, the creation of a 'perfect' society in Time Force, death and legacy in Lost Galaxy, to name a few).
Disclaimer: I own no part of the power rangers franchise whatsoever.
Reasons why Tenaya should not have travelled with Dillon and Summer
Camp
If the two girls share the large tent, her companions sulk in the morning; if she takes the smaller tent, she can't sleep.
Lodging
"A room for you two and your daughter, right?"
Memories
"Remember when…?" Translation: 'Tenaya, go away.'
Responsibilities
He scavenges, she cooks, he cleans, she plans: great, but what does she do?
Mood
"I don't mean to kill the mood, but," of course, she does "we need to go."
Backseat
They seem to get a kick out of forcing her to sit in the hot, sticky seat; especially after they kick her out for an hour—well, she sometimes volunteers—to go find food, or some other unnecessary task.
Car
The only time she can ride shotgun is when one of them needs to sleep.
Driver
The trust each other, but not her: she can see it when Dillon hands Summer, albeit very hesitatingly, the keys.
Summer
"What was Dillon like before Venjix? Where did you two live? Do you remember what he liked to do?"
Dillon
It's so easy, Tenaya thinks as Dillon is dragging her away from another guy with her wrist in his unyielding grip, to forget that you actually need to meet people to start dating them when you already have a girlfriend.
I'm out of words, but I may write more if I'm inspired or you send some words my way.
