"I'm sorry Duke, I think I love Mai, I hope we can still be friends. … Duke? … Are you still there …. ?" Duke dropped the phone to the floor, his hands were shaking. Joey broke up with him.

It had been weeks since Joey had ended it with the boy. Duke hadn't left his house at all.
He could still remember those touches, the whispers in his ear.

Duke tried to forget all those memories. Every time he thought about Joey he cried.
"He lied to me, he promised he'd stay with me …" Duke buried his head in his hands and sobbed.

Duke couldn't stand it anymore, he didn't have Joey anymore. He couldn't live without him. He went into his kitchen and got a large knife, his hands where shaking.
"Sorry, Joe, I have to leave for America in a week" Mai shrugged.
"So this was all a joke, was it Mai?" Joey glared at the woman.
"I thought you knew I was leaving anyway" she sighed
"I gave up a year, a whole fucking year with Duke just to spend a few weeks with you?" Then it hit him like a dagger in his heart. "Duke … oh god… Mai, I gotta leave, I'm sorry" Joey rushed out of her apartment, straight to Duke's.
He banged on the door. "DUKE! Lemme in, please!" Joey shouted. He rammed his shoulder into the door repeatedly until it opened.
"Duke, baby, where are you?" He looked in different rooms, looking for the ebony haired boy. He went into the kitchen, his eyes widened. "Duke, don't please"
The other boy had the knife a few inches from his wrist, tears streaming down his face. "J-Joey … ?" he choked out, dropping the knife.
The blonde pulled the other boy into his arms. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I never meant to hurt you…" Duke clung to him for dear life, sobbing. "N-never le-leave me again. I-I need you Joey"
He picked up Duke with ease and carried him to his bed room and laid him on the bed. He wrapped his arms around Duke, whispering apologies. Joey pressed a kiss to the boys forehead. "It's okay, I won't ever leave you again, I promise, I love you baby" The other boy smiled at Joey. He knew it was sincere this time, and nothing would come between them.
Yami Bakura: oh thank Ra, it's over!
