"Hey, Emily?"

"Yeah. Reid?"

"I was wondering if you would like to go out with me on Friday."
"Sure. I'd like that."

"Okay. I'll pick you up at 7."

On Friday, Emily and Reid went to the movies. They had a lot of fun. Reid drove her home and was telling her jokes on the way.

Reid walked her up to her door. When she was about to open the door, he kissed her. She couldn't stop what came out after the kiss ended.

"I love you, Spencer."

Spencer couldn't believe it. He was so shocked that he couldn't speak. He just stared at her.

"Oh. I'm sorry. I have to go. Bye, Reid." Emily said, quickly opening the door. Reid walked back to his car and drove away, still in shock.

Last night I was pouring out my heart,

I couldn't make it stop,

I felt like a fool, then lied and said I was sorry.

Emily felt such an idiot. She couldn't believe she said she loves Reid. She probably just scared him off. He would never ask her out on another date again. She felt a tear roll down her cheek when she remembered his face after she told him she loved him. She couldn't believe she could be that stupid. She crawled into bed and cried herself to sleep.

On Monday, Emily knew she had to talk to Reid. She hated herself for what happened. She didn't call Reid because she was scared of what he would say. She also preferred to speak to him in person.

When Reid came into work, Emily was sitting at her desk, reading a file. She noticed Reid and went into the break room. She knew he would be coming in soon to get coffee.

You know people say a lot of things that they don't really mean.
Last night, I told a little white lie, hoping you'd forget the scene.
We're feeling like a movie under that porch.
Couldn't help myself when you held me tight.
Said what I meant, then I lied and said I was sorry.

I unapologize.
I meant every word.
Won't take back the way I feel about you.

Reid walked into the break room and saw Emily at the coffee machine. He knew he had to talk to her about what happened.

"Emily?"

"Oh. Reid! Hey." She said, stunned. She suddenly became nervous.

"Umm... so. About Friday..."

"Reid, I unapologize."

"What? What do you mean?" Reid was confused.

"I said I was sorry on Friday. I said I love you. I meant it, Reid. I'm not going to hide how I feel. I take back my apology. I unapologize. I love you."

"Emily, I-" Reid paused.

"Reid, it's okay. It doesn't matter if you don't feel the same. I-"

"Emily, I love you, too. I didn't say anything on Friday because I was just so shocked. I love you, Emily Prentiss."

Emily smiled. She walked over to Reid and kissed him.
