The One Where Ross tells Rachel
A follow on from The One Where Ross tells Monica. Ross has now got the courage to tell Rachel so read on! I hope you enjoy this story. It takes place after the 5th episode of the 10th season.
Recap: [Scene: Ross' apartment] Monica: Ok Ross! Open up! It only me! [Ross opens the door] Ross: What do you want? Monica: Ok. I need to talk to you! Ross: Now? Monica: Yes Ross: Ok! Come in. (Ross looks annoyed) Monica: Ok. Now what's the matter Ross? Why did you storm out like that? Ross: You really wanna know? Monica: Yes Ross: Ok, well lately I've been having feelings for Rachel. Monica: Oh. Ross I'm so sorry! Come here. [She gives Ross a hug.] So that was why you stormed out? Ross: Yes. And Joey? Come on! I have talked to him about this a ton of times! Monica: Ok Ross. Lets go have dinner and we will talk about this later ok? Ross: Ok. [Ross grabs his coat and dashes to his room, under his bed he takes a box from it and in the box there are pictures of Rachel. He looks at one of them and puts it in his pocket. Then he goes out of his apartment.] [Scene: Central Perk everyone is now there. Ross and Rachel look away from each other and Ross ignores Joey.] Phoebe: So where are we going to eat? Monica: What about my restaurant? All: Yeah ok [Scene: Monica's restaurant. They are seated and they can heave the meal for free as Monica is the head chef! It is a round table. From the top going to right: Ross, Phoebe Rachel, Joey, Monica and then Chandler. They have all ordered] Chandler: That was great. [Monica gives him a glare] But your foods the best! Monica: That's better! Phoebe: That was delicious! Are you sure that didn't have meat in? Monica: No it didn't. Phoebe: Um excuse me? [The waiter comes up to Phoebe] Waiter: Yes madam? Phoebe: Did this have meat in? Waiter: Let me just check. [He comes back] Yes why? Phoebe: [spitting everywhere!] Euh! Oh my God! I just ate meat! I have never before. I have lost the name vegetarian! Rachel: You have eaten meat before! Phoebe: When? What? Who? Why? Joey: Um. When we were in London. You ate meat for the babies! Phoebe: Oh so it's London this? London that? For goodness sake SHUT UP ABOUT LONDON! Oh sorry Ross. I mad at everyone else except you. Ross come back! Monica: Hey Rach can I talk to you for a moment? [they go into the kitchen] Rachel: Why? Monica: Ok. I've talked to Ross, and he is really upset. When you kissed earlier. I don't think he can cope. It was like that. Rach you and Ross couldn't see each other again cause of Emily! We don't want that to happen again! We were all upset. Look Rach you have a family! You need to complete it. [Ross comes over and Monica goes.] Ross: Hey. Rachel: Hi. Ross: I really need to talk to you about something. Rachel: What? Is there anything wrong? Ross: OK, well, lately, I've uh, I've uh, sort of had feelings for you. Rachel: What? Ross: Rach, I'm still in love with you! Rachel: Oh my god. Ross: Look Rach. Sit down. Ok. I saw you and Joey in Barbados. I was devastated! [Ross puts his coat on and the picture of Rachel slips out.] And earlier on. [Ross isn't looking at Rachel he is looking up at the ceiling and she picks up the picture of herself] Rachel: Um Ross. [She interrupts Ross but he still talks] Ross: Well earlier on, it killed me to see my best friend kissing you! Rachel: Um Ross?!? Ross: Yeah? Rachel: What's this? Ross: A picture of you. Rachel: I know that but why do you have it? Ross: Well cause. It's so I can look at you and see how pretty you are every day! [Rachel smiles and then goes] Ross at last told her! What will Rachel do?
