Dreadful Darkness
A poem about Azkaban from the point of Sirius Black.
Dreadful Darkness fills the cell;
Life will never be the same.
Is this death? I cannot tell.
Will the sun reach me again?
I remember that sad day,
When everything was torn apart.
James and Lily, what can I say?
And that day, it broke my heart.
I still reach out, I can't say why,
For a light, my hopes and dreams.
Maybe one day, if I try,
There is a chance for me, it seems.
Bars and darkness are my life,
But maybe I can escape this.
Life, one day, may be rife
If I don't fall in this abyss.
The Dog Star shines so clearly afar,
Giving my hope I could only wish for,
My way out, a door ajar,
I won't be held down anymore...
I hope you all liked this :)
