The world burns
The jewels have set it aflame.
Inspiring madness, they create havoc all across Arda.
So many have been consumed by them, the houses of Fëanor and Fingolfin, and the children of Finarfin.
How much has been lost? Alqualondë has fallen, and so has Gondolin.
How many have died? All of Fëanor's house, but Maglor is gone. Fingolfin and all his children have been slain. And of Finarfin's children, only Artanis, now Galadriel, survives to tell the tales.
Now the jewels are gone and separated.
Earth, sea, and sky, each holds a jewel.
May they now be forgotten.
