I hope you like and enjoy this short story
Austria and Hungary had arrived at the room. Today their heir ,the heir to the Austro-Hungarian thrown , was having a baby. A baby with a commoner. Austria was secretly disgusted about it, though Hungary was fine with it. When they opened the door to the room, Hungary went towards the wife and the newborn, wanting to help her out with the baby. Austria I'm the other hand walked towards his, well their, heir : Franz Ferdinand. "I congratulate you on the birth of your healthy child." Austria replied as he shook hands with him.
"Roderich, why are you acting so formal? We're good friends!" Austria's eyes widened for a moment.
"Yes, I know we are good friends , though I must warn you. Since you have married a commoner, the Emperor and I decided your child, whatever his or her name is, will not be the heir to the throne." Franz Ferdinand frowned.
"His name his Aleksandar."
"The child?" Franz Ferdinand nodded in reply to Austria.
"Yes, that the child's name, Aleksandar." Not long after both the human and nation's view were on their spouses. Hungary was holding the young child for a moment, smiling somewhat.
"Hey, Roderich, ever thought about having kids of your own?" Austria glanced at him for a moment, frowning as he did.
"No, it is quite rare to give, well, natural birth to a nation-children , unlike a human and anyways I feel like it just isn't the right time." Franz Ferdinand rolled his eyes for a moment.
"I'm guessing that is an excuse, a good one none the less, but are you sure you don't want children?"
"Yes I am sure I do not want children and I wasn't making an excuse! I was just stating facts on why I could not have any children." This made Franz Ferdinand laugh for a moment.
After he had laughed, the entire room seemed to become silent for a moment, that is before Hungary walked towards her husband , continuing to carry the newborn. "Isn't he just adorable ." Hungary said to her husband. Austria just looked at the newborn. "Do you want to hold him?" She asked him and Austria nodded. Hungary then handed him the newborn carefully and Austria held the baby carefully. It,luckily, hadn't been his first time holding a human baby before.
As he held the newborn , he whispered "Aleksander, I wish you the best of luck growing up in this cruel world." Before heading back to the child's mother and giving Aleksander back to her.
