Eragon talking to Sapphire

My name is Jack. I am a good friend of Eragon. I am a dragon but I used to be human, I am going to tell you the story of how my life changed.

It was a normal sunny day in Carvahall. I was heading to Eragons at twelve to see if he needs help hunting. I got out of bed and got dressed. I went down stairs and said good morning to my Mom and Dad.

I asked" Mom can I go to Eragons at twelve."

Mom Said" Yes." You can sleep over if you want."

I said " Thank you"

After I ate breakfast I went outside and started walking to Eragons house. Once I saw his house Eragon was in the field picking vegetables.

I said " Hi Eragon"

Eragon said, "What's up Jack".

I said" Nothing much. I was wondering if I could sleep over and we could go hunting."

Eragon said " Yes you can we will go hunting after dinner. We will set up a tent in the middle of the woods and sleep out there."

I said, "Do you needed help with the garden.

Eragon said, "Yes"

After three hours of picking lettuce, tomatoes, and corn we finally could eat dinner. After dinner we said good bye to Eragons step Dad and brother and walked out the door with all our supplies. Then we walked and talked for 2 hours and finally we found a good camping spot deep in the woods. Eragon and me got out the tent and set it up. Next I went to get firewood to build a teepee. Next I pulled out flint and steel and started the fire. While I was doing that Eragon was setting up our beds in the little tent. Then Eragon and me cooked dinner and went to sleep.

Jacks Dream

I was in a dark cave. I saw two yellow glowing eyes look at me. All of a sudden a voice came out of nowhere.

The voice said" Jack you will become a dragon. You have no choice. It is your destiny to help Eragon and sapphire destroy the evil king. I am going to start the transformation in Three days."

I said" I do not know want to say but I am scared and nervous.

The Voice said I know it is a lot to take in. but in the end you will be happy. Now go back to the real world and tell Eragon what I told you."

Real world

When I woke up I was sweating and breathing hard.

Eragon asked" Jack are you ok. I have been trying to wake you for about an hour."

I said, " Eragon I am not ok. I had a dream or vision. There was a voice and yellow glowing eyes. The voice told me I am going to be a dragon in three days. Eragon I am nervous.

Eragon said" Jack that voice told me this was going to happen. I wish I could have told you but the voice said not to. I asked" Eragon I heard you had a dragon. Where is your dragon?"

Eragon said" She is hiding I will contact her."

All of a sudden I heard a stick breaking. Eragon and I pulled out our swords. An old man came out of the bushes.

Brom said" Eragon put your sword away and you too boy.

Eragon who is this boy."

Eragon said" Brom met jack. He is the one I told you about. He is going to be a dragon."

Brom Said" Jack nice to meet you. You have a blessing."

I said"I am really nervous but I guess you can call it a blessing."

Brom said to Eragon" Eragon call Sapphire."

Eragon asked" Sapphire I want you to meet someone special."

Sapphire said" I will be there soon.

Eragon said" She will be here soon."

I heard a thumping sound and I looked up and I saw a blue dragon. She was beautiful. I felt something in my mind and

It said" Hi Jack my name is Sapphire. I hear you are to become and dragon. I will help you learn the basics and flying when you are a dragon."

I said " Thank you I appreciate you helping me.

Sapphire said," It is no problem."

I said" I will be a dragon in three days."

Eragon said" Jack I need your help with lunch."

I said" ok coming."
