Stand By You – Part 1: Finncedes Love Story
She was walking down the hall when she spotted her bestfriend, Finn Hudson. She walked to him. "Hey snowflake." She gave a small laugh. "Ha-ha, very funny cede." God, she looked so beautiful to him. Everything about her was perfect; her hair, her body, her smile, her eyes, and her lips. Oh those lips, those lips he's wished he could taste, just once. The two smiled at each other, the moment was perfect, and they were perfect. Everything was perfect until Finn's bitch of a girlfriend walked up. "Finnie!" she yelled across the hall. She came closer to the two, pushing Mercedes out of the way.
"Finnie, darling, I've been looking for you everywhere." She said with a concerned look upon her face. "Yes Rachel, what is it this time?" He asked as Mercedes started to walk away. He frowned. "Nothing, but honey why do you look so sad?" Mercedes had disappeared into the large crowd of McKinley High. "Nothing…." He said with a sigh. "Oh, ok. Well don't forget about our date night." He realized he was being a jerk and ignoring Rachel. He looked at her with a soft smile. "I promise, beautiful." He kissed her lips, softly and then closed his locker and went on to class.
Later that day, Mercedes was sitting on the bench with her other best friends, Santana and Brittany. "I don't know guys. It's like every time I try to tell Finn how I feel, the bitch Rachel interrupts." Finn was all Mercedes could think about; every night and day. They talked on the phone all the time. She had so many chances to express her feelings, but they were always somehow interrupted. "oooooo! I have an idea, why don't you just sing a song to him tomorrow in Glee Club." Brittany yelled out. "Why babe, that's probably one of the smartest…. The smartest ideas you've ever had." Santana said to her girlfriend as she corrected herself. "I think I will. Thanks guys. Why should I sing though?" Mercedes asked. What would be the perfect song, to catch is attention? Hmmm…. "OMG! I'VE GOT IT!" Santana yelled out. "How about you sing, We Belong Together by Mariah Carey?!" …. "Santana that's perfect!" Cede yelled.
Just then, Finn and the guys walked up towards them. "So what are we so excited about ladies" Sam said as he scootced in between Santana and Mercedes. "Nothing!" Santana, Mercedes, and Brittany all yelled at the same time. "Suree…" Finn said as he smiled at Mercedes. She smiled back. "Hey, we were going to get some food, you girls wanna join?" Blaine asked. "Sure, got nothing else to do." They all left together as they headed to the gangs favorite restaurant, Breadstix.
