Thor and his Dragon, Phong.
Thor was walking through the woods of Asgard with his brother Loki when he hears a small squeak from behind a bush. He walks over quietly to see what is making the sound. What he finds is a blue baby dragon. The Thunderer gently picks it up and holds it close. "Aw, you're so cute. You need a home. I'll take care of you, little one. I think I'll call you Phong." Thor gently coos, smiling as Phong nuzzles his chest and makes happy noises.
"Thor! It's going to get dark soon, so we need to head back!" Loki calls out, causing Phong to squeal loudly and bury his face in Thor's chest.
"Loki, you scared Phong!" Thor reprimands his brother.
"Who is Phong?" He asks as he walks closer to his older brother.
Thor gently pets his little dragon, cooing soothingly. Loki cocks his head to one side. "Thor, is that a dragon? You know father forbids anyone from befriending the beasts." Loki says.
"Loki, please help me hide him from father. He's just a baby and needs a home and love." Thor pleads, giving his brother his kicked-puppy expression.
Loki groans in exasperation. "The things I do for you, bro." He mutters. "Fine, I'll help you."
Thor smiles. "Yay! Thank you, Loki!" He tells his brother. "Everything will be alright, Phong." Thor says reassuringly to his dragon.
The brothers return home via one of Loki's secret passages in order to hide Phong from everyone. The only person besides them who knows about Phong is Heimdall, but he will stay silent on the matter.
When they make it to Thor's chambers, Thor makes a comfy bed for Phong out of some of his blankets and a metal box. Phong wants to stay with his daddy, so he makes squeaks of protest about being put in the box. "Aw, Phong, I know it's scary, but daddy has to go get food and I can't take you with me no matter how much I would like to. You'll be alright." Thor reassures his little one. Phong starts to whimper. Thor gives him gentle hugs and pets. Thor now smells like ozone, rain, and Vietnamese spices from hugging Phong.
It is obvious to Loki that Thor and Phong have already established a bond that will run deep for years to come.
