This is my third attempt at writing a chapter story. I have deleted my first two tries, but this is a remake of the Peter Pan story that I have taken down.
I don't own Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Tinkerbell or the Lost Boys. I only own the plot, Haley and her friend Bri.
A Peter Pan Story
There once was a girl named Haley. She was just a normal twelve year old girl who was about to turn thirteen. This girl thought Peter Pan was a children's movie, but she still believed. Even though that was her thoughts, that didn't stop her from singing Second Star to the Right to the star she thought was Neverland. Every night unknown to Haley, Peter was there watching her from a tree nearby. This was crucially important to what was about to happen.
"Even though this is a children's story, please let Peter be real. I want to escape to a fantasy." Haley said quietly one night after singing. Peter flew away from his hiding spot, now knowing he could trust the girl he had been watching for a while. By the time he had reached the window that he knew was Haley's bed room window the time was 12:00 am and Haley was asleep. Peter then opened the window quietly so not to wake her. Tinkerbell quickly followed him in. Haley was awakened by Tinkerbell.
"Who are you?" Haley asked sleepily.
"I'm Peter Pan. Might I ask who you are?" Peter asked. He had a slight feeling that her last name wouldn't be 'Darling' like every girl he had met except for Tink and Tigerlily.
"Haley Ritchey." Haley replied. Tinkerbell's tinkling sound for a voice filled the room.
"I am not!" Haley said. Peter looked at her confused.
"Do you even know what she said?" Peter asked.
"Yes! She called me an ugly and stupid girl!" Haley said. Peter was shocked. Not by Tink's comment on Haley, but by Haley being able to understand fairy language. At that point the only people that Peter knew that could understand fairy were himself, the Lost Boys and Smee.
"How did you learn to do that?" Peter asked.
"Do what?" Haley replied with a question of her own.
"How did you learn to understand fairy language?" Peter said.
"I don't know. I wasn't even aware that I could understand a whole new language. I'm ready to leave, Peter. I know this might be too much for you but, could my friend Bri come along?" Haley asked.
"Uh… Sure, she can come along." Peter said. Haley ran up to him and gave him a hug.
"Thank you so much Peter!" Haley said. Peter blushed.
"Well it's about two hours from sunrise according to the clock in there." Peter said pointing to the clock in the other room.
"Yes, I guess that means we should hurry." Haley replied. Peter nodded. Tinkerbell began to fly away but Peter grabbed her and shook her, since he knew she wouldn't give Haley any pixie dust.
"Chocolate! Mermaids! Indians!" Haley said. With those few words, she began to fly around the room. Not long after she led Peter to her friend Bri's house, knowing this would probably scare Bri to death.
I hope I did a good job with this. Right now I'm not sure when Chapter 2 is coming out, so don't expect it to come out soon. I also don't have a beta and I'm only 13 so please don't be too mad about my grammar errors if there are any. Please review.
