There was little noise as she strode quietly down the sun-lit hall of the Western Air Temple. She was glad that when the war had ended they had chosen to remain together in this place. It was she, Katara who had suggested it. Two months had passed since Aang had taken away Ozai's deadly bending, and the world had slowly begun to rebuild itself.
Katara smiled softly as she reached her destination, the large fountain carved from this very cliff. The sparkling water was nearly glowing in the vivid sunlight. She lifted her hands the water nearly leaped out of its previous confinement.
She slowly formed her water whip, perfecting her every movement. She gained speed and elegance with every graceful step and turn of her body. She sent the water towards the statue with the same perfected balance. The water twisted around the ages-old statue, the delicate flower petals than had fallen innocently from the trees now caught in the light with a dazzling effect, and she smiled.
"That was amazing."
She gasped, dropped her element, and turned all in one swift motion. Cerulean eyes met golden ones for a few precious moments.
"I didn't mean to startle you." He offered, "I was merely……. Congratulating you on a job well done." She visibly relaxed.
"Thank you Zuko," she said calmly her blue eyes smiling. "I'm glad you liked it."
