Kitsune's Birthday

Uzumaki Naruto was walking down the streets of Konoha, heading to his favorite eating place, Ichiraku's.

Normally, the blond wouldn't come out on his birthday because the villagers would beat him up, trash his home and pretty much do more horrible things every year on his birthday. But right now it's different for two reasons.

One, he's the hero of his village and the people respect him for what he has done. And two, his girlfriend insisted that he come out.

The blond jinchuriki smile as he thought of his girlfriend, he could never say no to his girlfriend.

'I swear, she has me wrap around her little fingers.' thought the blond, chuckling.

"What's so funny?" asked a female voice and Naruto smile as he recognizes the voice.

He turned around to see his girlfriend.

"Nothing." He said.

"Doesn't sound like nothing." said the female before shaking her head.

Naruto chuckled. "Really Ino, it's nothing."

"Are you sure?" Ino asked.

"Yeah." Naruto said, wrapping his arms around the beautiful blonde.

"Okay, I believe you." Ino said. "So where are you going?"

"Ichiraku's." Naruto said.

Ino rolled her eyes. "Typical."

"What?" Naruto asked. "It's my favorite place to eat."

"I know." Sighed Ino, wrapping her arms around his waist and put her head on his chest. "I'm coming with you."

"Alright." Naruto said as they let go and grabbed her hand, walking.

While they were walking, Ino hid a smile from her boyfriend.

'He is going to freak.' She thought.

They were still walking until they stopped in front of the ramen stand.

Naruto dropped Ino's hand as he looked in horror.

"Close!"

Ino winced.

"How can it be closed? It never closes this early, especially on this day." Naruto said.

Feeling sorry for the male, Ino grabbed his arm and began to drag him. "Come on."

"Hey! Where are you going?" Naruto asked.

"Just come." Ino said, still dragging him with Naruto, who is not protesting because he is silently crying.

Ino stopped walking and let go of Naruto's arm. "We're here."

Naruto blinked as he saw the barbecue place. "It's empty."

"Come on." Ino said, grabbing the front of his jacket and went inside the restaurant.

"Hey, why is it dark?" Naruto asked.

"I don't know." Ino said. "Why don't you turn on the switch?"

Naruto nods his head as he turned on the lights. Once he turned it on, the two blonds heard a shout.

"Surprise!"

Naruto blinked as he saw his friends, the senseis, Tsunade and Shizune there with a banner and gifts.

"A surprise for me?" Naruto asked.

"Of course man, it's your birthday." Kiba said.

Naruto was teary eyes." Thank you."

"Don't thank us, thank Ino who planned it all." Neji said.

Naruto turn to look at his girlfriend. "You planned it?"

Ino nods her head.

Naruto smile at her, then he gasped as he saw Teuchi and Ayame coming out of the kitchen, rolling down a cart of ramen bowls.

Naruto grinned as he joined his friends in celebrating his birthday.

After joking around with his friends, eating ramen, opened gifts and ate cake before everyone left the place after the celebration.

Naruto and Ino were walking down the streets, hand in hand.

"Thank you, Ino-chan." Naruto said.

Ino blushed. "Come on, you don't need to thank me. I want you to have the best birthday ever."

She squeaked as Naruto let go of her hand and put his arm on her waist, pulling her closer to him.

"I had fun, but I didn't get a gift from you." Naruto said.

Ino blinked. "I haven't? Of course I did."

Naruto smirked before he dipped her and claimed her lips.

Ino was shocked, but quickly got over it as she wrapped her arms around his neck to return the kiss.
