could they unite their kingdoms together after centuries of fighting?

Today was the day of peace where all matters of war stop for 24 hours and the big party is hosted. The party is where all the angels and demons meet in one neutral location to enjoy music, dancing, and food were they act like the two kingdoms are getting along for one day before war starts again the next day. The angel princess does not really enjoy the day of peace party because no one ever dances with her when she was younger it was different she used to run around and play hid and seek with the other kids. But once she grew up and became a woman she stopped enjoying the parties because she was aware of the ugliness the next day would bring for she had seen it being a healer, a rare ability. But Being a healer meant she was given the job of healing all the angel's wounds and no one ever asked her to dance because she was the king's daughter. Her dream is to have peace every day and that the two kingdoms could just get along but the girl doubted that her dream would ever come true.

She was dressed in a black V neck dress that left her back exposed and stopped at her knee. And a pair of red heals. She wore her long bright pink hair down but curled at the ends. As for Makeup she simply curled her lashes and applied some mascara making her bright green eyes pop, she did not need anything else for she was very beautiful. She had just arrived with her best friend Ino who had blonde hair and blue eyes that matched the dress Ino was wearing. "come one Sakura lets go get something to drink" Ino had suggested before they made their way over to the punch bowls. They were getting drinks when Sakura saw the demon prince from across the room.

He was dressed in a pair of black pants and black boots on top. He wore a black shirt with his family crest on the back and shoulders a red and white fan. He had an open front jacket that stopped at the knee on top.

Their eyes locked from across the room. His eyes pierced through her like he could see into her very soul. Sakura wasn't naive She knew who he was. The Uchiha prince, the demon prince, he carried himself with confidence and strength. He had a reputation on the battlefield of being one of the strongest demon's in his Kingdom. His shirt clung tight to his muscles underneath he had jet black hair, pale skin, and onyx eyes. It is said that his eyes turn red when angry a family trait of the Uchiha. He can trap you under illusion with just one look and with his eyes he can copy and anticipate others attacks. You didn't cross an Uchiha unless you wanted to die, their name was feared and for good reason. She knew she should avoid this man just for the Fact that he was a demon and an Uchiha but she couldn't shake the feeling of attraction towards the Uchiha.

The minute she walked into the room he couldn't take his eyes off her. She was breathtaking. She had a very unique beauty. With her pink hair and bright green eyes. She had curves in all the right places his eyes traveled from her face down to her slender neck and her perfectly sized chest, to her flat stomach and long slender legs. His brother Itachi followed his gaze to the young women "Quite beautiful isn't she, too bad its forbidden she'd make a nice prize don't you think" Sasuke glared at his brother that dare talk about the princess in such a way.

"hn"

"It is said that she possesses the power to heal. It is her healing ability's that keep sending the angels forces back at full strength even after being wounded" his brother informed him like himself his brother had dark hair while his brothers lay flat his stuck out in the back, but they both had the same onyx eyes.

"healing is a rare ability these days" The young demon prince replied

"Don't have the courage to ask her for a dance Sasuke?" The demon prince glared at his brother. His brother Laughed. "I know rules are rules, no demon is allowed to touch the angel princess even on the day of peace. But don't worry not even the angels approach her either too afraid of the king I imagine." His brother informed him

"Cowards" Sasuke replied

Sasuke couldn't help but feel pleased that no one dared to touch her. He couldn't take his eyes off of her the entire night, he watched her dance as if she didn't have a care in the world, watching her hips move back and forth. Not a single male dared approach her the entire night. All knew she was the princess and If anyone tried he would have to kill them. He wanted this angel for his own he did not care if they were from two different kingdoms, that he was a demon and she was an angel. He wanted her and he would have her. He could care less that their worlds were at war he would make her his no matter what the cost. He had so many options he could put her under his genjetsu and let her fall under his mind tricks long enough to kidnap her. He could put her under a sleeping spell, but none of these would satisfy him. He wanted to make her fall for him and to the darkness without her realizing it, and even once she did it would not matter for by then he would have her. It would be more satisfying to him. For years she had been coming to this day of peace party and he has always gazed upon her but never doing anything about it because of the rules. But that would end tonight to hell with the rules if today was a day of peace that meant that he could dance with her if he wanted to.

He swiftly moved behind her and reached his hand out and touched her arm, he glided it down her soft creamy skin. She spun around in his arms, surprised to find the demon price in front of her. The Guards advanced towards the prince ready to arrested him but the angel king stopped them "I'll allow it!" he yelled.

Before Sakura could say a word he pulled her closer, placed his hand on her lower back and the other on the back of her shoulder and began to dance. She followed his lead "Most men introduce themselves before dancing" She finally said. Her skin felt like it was on fire everywhere he touched "hn" the prince replied her eyes were breathtaking a beautiful green that suited her bright pink hair. "A man of few words you must be the younger prince" Sakura said.

"So you know who I am princess" The prince replied. He twirled her out and then back in a moment later her body smashing into his strong chest. "I do" Sasuke smiled removing her hand from his chest and putting back into place on his shoulder.

"And yet your unafraid being in the prince of demons arms" The prince said but it was more of a question then a statement before dipping her low to the ground. Giving him a nice view of her creamy neck and cleavage. Smirking He pulled her back up.

"if you wanted to hurt me you would not do it here in front of everyone and my father" Sakura replied earning her a smirk from the dark haired prince.

"That confidence could be you undoing princess. I could kill everyone in this room, if I wanted to" His eyes flashed red for a moment But before Sakura could look away his eyes had already returned to their onyx. The prince was impressed most angels would be terrified and run for their lives but this particular Angel was not. She laughed, it was like music to his ears. Her angelic laugh. "I don't doubt you Prince, but I am not scared of you"

They continued to dance throughout the night, many had seen them together and only found it to be unnatural an Angel and a Demon. Having enough of the all looks and whispering they made their way out to the gardens out of sight. Sakura was cautious following the demon somewhere alone. She could not fully trust him even though her heart wished it could.

"I will not hurt you princess, tonight I am not your enemy." The prince said as he stood in the entry way of the gardens seeing the Princess stop. He pulled her by the hand and into the gardens feeling the burn of his touch once more.

She considered his words before walking towards him "Please call me Sakura"

"Then you must call me Sasuke" he replied and they made their way fully into the gardens. "It is a shame really that after tonight we must go back to being enemies" The wind picked up and Sakura wrapped her arms around her petite form. Seeing her shiver Sasuke summoned his wings and wrapped them around the girl creating more heat.

"Then just enjoy tonight princess" Sasuke replied. Sakura smiled and rested her head on his shoulder. Sasuke enjoyed Seeing her smile, it was a bright real smile. "It makes me sad, I wish we could always have peace, that I could be friends with a demon for more than one night." Sasuke was surprised by her words. He always imagined that their kingdoms would be at war because he had never known any other way. For as long as he has been alive their kingdoms had always been at war with each other and for what? Power? Land? Riches? Could there be another way would there be a way to unite their kingdoms? Or at least end the war.

The clock finally struck midnight informing the angels and demons that the night had come to an end. Sakura bowed to the prince "It was very nice spending time with you prince Sasuke, until we meet again" She said

"Aa. until we meet again" Sasuke Said. Sakura looked at his face and gave him a kiss on the cheek only to withdraw from quickly after realizing what she had done and quickly walked away. Sasuke could do nothing but watch her leave for they were at war with each other once again. As Sakura walked away for him she snuck a glance over her shoulder at the young prince secretly hoping that he would survive the year and she would encounter him again next year on the day of peace.

"You summoned me father"

"Yes Sakura I have a mission for you, one of our towns is in desperate need of medical attention they have recently received an attack from the demon kingdom they were successful in defending the town but many are in serious condition I need you to go out there and heal the soldiers out there"

"it's the town that crosses over the demon kingdom isn't it?" Sakura asked

"Yes it is. But we can't afford to lose that town, if we allow them to acquire the town it would only be a matter of time before the start advancing on other towns and eventually the palace if we can't hold them back, I would not send you if I had another option. "

"I understand" Sakura replied

"make your necessary arrangements you leave in the morning"

Sakura nodded at her father and left his office. He watched his daughter turn around and leave. When the door closed behind her the king said to himself "please be careful my daughter"

The next morning Sakura meet a group of soldiers at the palace gates. She was dressing in a pair of riding boot tight black pants, red shirt with her family crest on the back and a black clock over top. She was instructed to keep her hair and wings hidden so that no one would recognize her as the angel princess. Sakura tuck her hair under the hood of her black cloak. All of her medical supplies had been attached to her horse. Sakura mounted her white horse and followed her soldiers that were assigned to protect her away from the palace and towards her destination. It would take at least a week for them to arrive.

Sasuke had been told that a group of angels were making their way towards the town their forces had attacked but unable to destroy about a week ago. They planned to send out more forces and finish off the town. But if the group of angels reached the town they would regain their strength and they would never take out the town. Therefor the king had ordered Sasuke to take a group of demons and prevent them from reaching the town by annihilating them. "They will take the more dangerous rout"

"how can you be so sure, I say we send two groups one to the safer rout and one to the dangerous one" one of his soldiers questioned

"No we stay together, the angels will think that we expect them to take the safer rout so they will take the more dangerous rout, we will cut them off after they have bad it 100 yards into our borders"

"make them think they have tricked us; I like it"

"we take up positions at dawn" Sasuke stated

Sakura had been traveling for a week now and they were carefully making their way through the territory where the demon kingdom and the angel kingdom crossed paths. For a while it seemed as if they were going to make it to the town without incident when suddenly arrows came at them from all directions Sakura's horse panicked knocking her to the ground.

"Princess get out of here run" One of her soldiers had told her as there were being taken down one after another. Sakura took off running as one of the cloaked demons turned in her direction.

His plan had worked perfectly the angels walked right into his trap he had set up. They were able to take out about half the angels with their arrows. Sasuke went after the figure that was trying to make a getaway unknown to him what he was about to discover. He pulled out a knife aiming and throwing it at his target.

His knife hit his target right where he wanted it to reducing the angels movement. The Angel fell down letting out a cry of pain. The voice sounded almost familiar to him. It wasn't until the hood fell off the angels head to reveal long pink hair that fear washed over him, which was odd for him being a demon. She heard the heavy footsteps approaching her location she needed to move or she would for sure be killed. She tried getting off the ground but found it impossible.

"Damnit." Sakura turned around hearing a familiar voice only to find Sasuke hovering over her.

"Sasuke" she said. She had no idea what he would do, would he kill her? Would he let her go? She did not know what to think. His face was blank not showing and emotion or indication as to what he would do. He looked behind him to make sure no one was looking before kneeling down over her. He took her leg into his hand. His touch warmed her cold skin and making Sakura blush. Her pulled the knife out "ahh" she let out a small cry from the pain.

"What are you doing here" he asked

"I'm sure you know why I'm here" Sakura placed her hand over her leg for a moment and then it glowed green and the skin melded back together. This was not how he hoped to meet her again.

"so it's true, you're a healer, can you walk?" He asked her. Not sure of if he would let her go yet or not.

"not for a few hours" She confessed which told him that even if he let her go she would not make it far and his men would find her and kill her.

His thoughts were interrupted by approaching voices.

"Where is the prince"

"where's prince Sasuke"

"I think he went this way"

"come on"

"Shit!" He said "Huh" She looked up at him only to see his red eyes and felt drowsiness take over before she passed out. Sasuke picked her up in his arms and carried her bridal style as the voices reached him.

"were taking a captive?"

"Aa"

"But we were ordered to annihilate them"

"Not this one, this is the princess she could be of use" Sasuke informed his soldiers but in reality he was just trying to save her life.

He got her situated on to his horse before turning to his men "Any survivors?"

"No sir they were all taken care of as ordered." The man replied

"hn" Sasuke mounted his horse wrapping his arms around Sakura's small form and taking hold of the rains and riding off in the direction of the demon kingdom. (the reason they have horses is because they can't fly for long periods of time)

Once the sun was beginning to set Sasuke slowed his horse and announced "Well make camp here tonight and make the rest of the way to the palace in the morning" he stopped his horse and dismounted. He rolled out a sleeping bag and laid Sakura down on it.

Sakura's eyes fluttered open as everyone was sitting around a fire eating.

"Why hello princess can I offer you something to eat" a demon with brown hair said to her. "we will be retiring into our tents for the night care to join me" he continued when she did not answer.

"…" Sakura just blinked at him

"She will be saying with me" Sasuke's voice came from behind her.

"OHHH!" The men whistled

"Shut up!" Sasuke ordered.

"Here eat" Sasuke offered her a bowl of soup.

"You kidnaped me" She Stated ignoring the food he offered. Sasuke placed it down beside her and walked away from her and into his tent. She glanced between the bowl of soup and Sasukes tent for a few minutes before picking up the bowl of soup not knowing when she would get her next meal.

Sasuke lay down on his sleeping bag staring up at the celling of his tent with his hands behind his head thinking. He didn't know what would happen when they reached his kingdom. What would happen to Sakura, would she be tortured? would she be used as leverage against the war? he had no choice this was her best chance at survival. All he knew was that he felt the need to protect her. Sasuke exited the tent when he could no longer hear the voices of his men. They had all gone into their tents leaving Sakura alone sitting on a log in front of the fire. Sasuke put out the fire before looking at Sakura.

"You will stay with me in my tent tonight"

"I'm not staying in a tent with you!"

"Sakura.." he warned

"No I'll sleep outside before I share a tent with you" Sakura replied crossing her hands over her chest

"There are demons and dangerous animals in this kingdom Sakura, I don't know what it's like in your kingdom but in this one you don't what to be found out in the open at night especially when you're an angel"

"I'll take my chances" Sakura replied all though she was now terrified

"don't make me force you Sakura"

"You wouldn't" She glared at him. he glared back. After having enough Sasuke yanked her off the log and dragged her into the tent. "hey let me go" Sakura yelled

Sasuke ignored her and pushed her into the tent before following after her. "Go to sleep" Sasuke ordered before laying down beside her.

"how am I going to sleep with you next to me?" Sakura replied

"hn" Sasuke ignored her and turned his back to her closing his eyes and falling off to sleep.

Sakura waited for hours until she was sure Sasuke was asleep and quietly crept out of the tent and out into the forest she knew that her kingdom was to the north so all she had to do was travel north until she could see her kingdom. She couldn't go with Sasuke to his kingdom who knows what would happen to her there.

-End Chapter 1-

She quietly made her way through the forest until she was far enough away and confident that Sasuke and his men couldn't hear her she began to run. She didn't dare use her wings it would be a dead giveaway that she was an angel. She ran for as long as her lungs would allow her until she slowed down to a quick walk. Her heart was racing so fast that she wasn't paying close enough attention when she tripped over a log or what she thought was a log. "Ow" While examining her leg she hadn't noticed the demon she tripped over was now awake and hovering over her.

"Well what do we have here"

Blood drained from Sakura's face and she turned around the see a demon standing over her. He was at least 6 feet tall and had a giant sword in his hands with his wings spread out.

"Here I was having a nice little nap only to be woken up by a pink haired brat" The demon said circling around her like a hawk.

"I'm sorry" Sakura said getting to her feet.

"Sorry huh"

"I'll just be going now" Sakura said slowly backing up and turning around

"oh no you don't" He moved in front of her before she could take two steps away from him

"you're going to pay for that little stunt" he said griping his sword

"What do you want?" Sakura asked

"I'm going to make sure you never interrupt me again" He said raising his sword.

Sakura ducked as he swung his sword. His sword hit one of the tree trunks she had been standing in front of. Taking her chance Sakura took off running the way she came while the demon removed his sword from the tree.

"Get back here you little brat" He swung his sword at her again.

Sakura screamed but kept running as it just missed her head.

Sasuke bolted up from the ground awake after hearing a scream. He looked beside him and noticed Sakura was gone. He quickly got out of the tent searching the nearby area but there was no sign of her. "ahhhh!" Sasuke heard a scream again in the distance that sounded a lot like Sakura. He grabbed his sword and ran off in the direction that he heard the voice.

Sakura kept running for her life, her heart racing a mile a minute. The demon was gaining on her fast and Sakura was getting tired. Finally, the daemon reached out and grabbed her by her cloak preventing her from getting away.

"I've got you now" The demon raised his sword ready to kill Sakura. She shut her eyes waiting for it to be over but the pain never came. Instead she felt something soft and warm wrap around her and lift her off the ground. She opened her eyes and found herself in Sasukes arms flying away from where she had been. They didn't say a word as he flew back to where they had made camp. Once they arrived Sasuke let her out of his arms and looked down at her displeased.

"what the hell Sakura, are you trying to get yourself killed" Sasuke snapped

"No I was trying..." Sakura began he eyes cast down

"To escape, I'm not dumb I know exactly what you were doing" Sasuke told her "and it was completely stupid, that demon could have killed you, if you want to stay alive I'm your best bet." Sasuke continued

"But..." Sakura began

"But what" Sasuke asked

"Nothing" Sakura replied. Sasuke walked off and began packing up their things. 'I'm scared; I don't know what going to happen once he takes me to his father' Sakura confessed to herself.

Once packed Sasuke lifted Sakura up onto his horse. "Aw why do you get to ride with the princess?" One of the demon soldiers whined.

"Because you're a pervert that won't keep your hands to yourself" Sasuke replied. "Warp your arms around me" Sasuke told her.

"What" Sakura said her face turning red.

"If you want to stay on the horse you better wrap your arms around me." Sasuke informed her. Suddenly the horse took off and Sakura quickly warped her arms around Sasuke before she fell. Sasuke had a slight blush on his cheeks feeling her arms wrap around him. They arrived at the palace after the sun had set. Sasuke dismounted the horse before turning to Sakura and grabbing her hands

"Hey what are you doing?" Sakura asked.

His grip on her hands was strong, and before she knew what was happening he had bound her hands. Sakura glared at him which he ignored and pulled her off the horse. Taking her by the arm he walked her into the palace. How could she forget that she was a captive, her fear returned not knowing what was going to happen now. Sasuke handed her to one of the soldiers. And they followed Sasuke down the hall and into a large room.

"Ah Sasuke my son, I hear you stumbled upon a little gift when on your mission, I am intrigued" The king said from behind a large wood desk.

"Aa." Sasuke pulled Sakura by the arm from one of his men and pushed her in front of him causing her to stumble to the ground. Her hands were bound.

"well now this is quite the prize you stumbled upon" Sakura got to her feet as the demon king approached her. "I never imagined my son would be bringing me the angel princess" The King said.

"but are you an impostor" He walked away from the girl taking a knife out of his desk. Sasuke took a step forward until his father eyed him suspiciously. Fear washed over the girl until the king sliced the knife over the skin on his arm "if you truly are the angle princess heal this wound, "Sasuke release her hands" Sasuke walked up to Sakura and cut the binding that bound her hands. She carefully approached the king placing her hands over the wound concentrating until her hands glowed green and the skin melded back together.

"so you are truly her" He walked away returning the knife to his desk "I wonder how the king and queen will react when they find out I have there little princess in my clutches" He said. Her eyes widened.

'my parents, they're going to be so worried, and I've failed my mission, father will not be happy' She thought to herself a sad look on her face.

"As I have not completed my mission my father will think I am dead" Sakura replied.

"Well I should inform them don't you think, so they don't grieve" He said to Sakura "Itachi!"

"Yes Father" a young demon who looked like Sasuke entered the room "Please send a message to the king and queen of the angel kingdom, inform them that we have their princess and that we will take good care of her" the king informed him before turning back to Sakura.

"If you want your time here to be pleasant princess you will cooperate with me" he said

"and if I don't" Sakura said looking down

"Well if you don't" He approached her and lifted her chin forcing her to look into his red eyes.

Suddenly Sakura was no long standing in front of the demon king. She was back in her bedroom and the kingdom was on fire. The beautiful forest burnt to the ground, dead bodies of angels everywhere she looked. She ran out of her bedroom to her father's office only to see his dead body lying on the ground next to her mother with a demon standing over them. When the demon turned around she saw the face of Sasuke he moved so fast grabbing her by the neck and lifting her off the ground killing her.

"stop it! Please make it stop!" Sakura was clutching her head as she fell to the ground. "ahh please no!" Sakura cried. After a minute the kings eyes went back to normal and the images faded from Sakura's mind however she felt extremely week.

"so princess will you cooperate with me?"

Sakura weakly nodded he head "good"

"fetch me Suigetsu he will keep an eye on our princess"

"yes your highness" a guard replied

"Father assign me to watch her instead" Sasuke said before the guard left.

"I am sure you have more important matters to attend to my son" the king replied

"I was the one to find her, I should be the one to watch over her" Sasuke reasoned

"you have a point, very well" Sasuke father replied

Sasuke yanked her up off the floor by her arm roughly. "she is your responsibility son, you will be held responsible for her" the king told him as Sasuke dragged her off.

"hn"

They exited the room. Sasuke let her go when they reached his quarters. Sakura stood in the middle of the room with her arms wrapped around herself for she had still not recovered from her encounter with the king. "You are not to leave this room unless you are accompanied by me"

Sakura did not answer him. Sasuke could tell she was crying her shoulders shook and he could hear the small sounds she was making.

"Sakura…" Sasuke whispered.

"Please if you're going to kill me just get it over with" Sakura said

"Never" Sakura turned around to look at Sasuke. "What you saw was not the future Sakura he was feeding off your fears" tears continued to fall from her cheeks. She threw her arms over his shoulders and cried. Sasuke just stood there and let her cry not knowing what to do.

"It felt so real, I don't know if I can handle that again" Once Sakura's tears stopped and she detached herself from Sasuke he went to go get her something to eat. Sakura took the opportunity to have a look around the room.

The room was huge, it had a large balcony window that if you looked though you could see the forest. Dark blue curtains hung on the window. A king sized bed lay in the room with red silk sheets. The Uchiha fan symbol hung above the bed and two bedside table's one on each side of the bed. Across the room was a dresser and walk in closet. And beside it was a door the lead to a private bathroom. The room was fit for a prince and was clearly meant to be shared.

On his way to the kitchen Sasuke encountered his brother who followed him into the kitchen "Interesting how you wanted to be assigned to the princess" Itachi said

"What of it" Sasuke replied

"Is my little brother in love with the angelic princess?" Itachi said

"Don't be foolish" Sasuke replied

"So you won't mind if I get to know her then" Itachi said trying to get a reaction out of him. He knew his brother liked the princess. Why else would he have danced with her on the day of peace and there was the fact that he did not kill her but brought her here instead.

"Itachi if you so much as come near her I will kill you" Sasuke threatened

Sasuke walked past his brother and into his quarters. Itachi smirked at his brother 'oh this is going to be fun' itachi thought before heading to his own quarters

Sasuke returned to his quarters to find Sakura looking at one of the photos that was on the bedside table. He knew which photo she was looking at the one of his family.

Sasuke walked out onto the balcony that was attached to the big window and placed the tray down on the table. Holding the door open, he waited for Sakura to join him outside "Eat. I'm going to go shower"

Sakura watched him leave. On the tray was a glass of milk, a piece of bread with some butter, mashed potatoes, roast beef and broccoli. She stared at the tray for a moment wondering whether she should eat the food. However, after a few minutes he could not deny herself the food and dug in.

After about five minutes, Sasuke appeared in the doorframe of the balcony window. "Are you finished?" He asked her. Sakura turned to look at him and noticed that he was shirtless, wearing only a pair of sweat pants. The first thing Sakura noticed was his naked chest and six pack. She had seen guys without a shirt before but none of them were as hot as Sasuke. Unable to contain her blush her face turned red. She tried looking up at his face but he was too damn hot. Sakura nodded not trusting her voice. Sasuke leaned over and took the tray noticing that she had only eaten about half the food, Sasuke opened his door and gave the tray to the guard before closing the door and turning to Sakura.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door "Sasuke pulled on a fitted t-shirt before going to answer the door. When he opened the door a dark haired women stood in the doorway who Sakura recognized form the photo as Sasukes mother.

"I heard we have a special guest, can I meet her" Sasuke stepped aside and let her walk into the room. Sakura bowed "Your highness it's a pleasure to make you're acquaintance"

"Please call me Mikoto, and it is a pleasure to meet you as well I brought you some clothing to sleep in tonight, I will get a fitter here as soon as I can to have some dresses made for you, after all you may be here for quite some time."

Once Sasukes mother was gone Sasuke got into his bed. Seeing Sakura just standing there Sasuke said "What are you just going to stand there?"

"um.."

"Get in the bed" Sasuke ordered.

"No there is no way that I am sleeping in the same bed with you!" Sasukra yelled

"fine do what you want sleep on the floor for all I care" Sasuke said before turning his back to her.

'what a jerk he's seriously going to make me sleep on the floor'

You're the one who won't sleep in the bed'

'I would if he wasn't in it I understand I can't have my own room being a prisoner and all but he could at least offer me the bed while he sleeps on the floor'

'it's his room'

'so why should he give up his bed if it's his room'

Sakura leaned against the wall and slid down to the floor. She crossed her arms over her knees and rested her head on top of them resting her head

When Sakura woke up the next morning she found herself lying on something soft. She opened her eyes and noticed she was in Sasuke's bed. She looked up and saw him coming out of the bathroom.

"what am I doing in your bed?"

"I put you there"

"what?" Sasuke tossed a towel at her ignoring her question. "Go shower"

"Sure if you leave and get me some clothes" Sasuke glared at her

"Sakura I have to keep an eye on you so like it or not I'm not leaving you alone now go shower the bathroom is right there" Sasuke told her pointing to the bathroom.

"no" Sakura said crossing her arms over her chest.

"annoying" Sasuke approached her throwing her over his shoulder and walking her into the bathroom.

"hey put me down" Sasuke demanded

"hn"

"let me go" he put her down inside the shower and turned the water on. Letting fully clothed Sakura get wet. He pulled the curtain and walked out of the bathroom leaving a stunned Sakura standing in the shower.

While she was in the shower Sasuke pulled on a long sleeved dark blue shirt with his family crest on the back, dark blue pants, and his socks. He towel dried his hair when there was a knock on the door. He opened the door and his mother was standing there.

"Good morning Sasuke, sleep well?" She asked him

"hn"

"here, I managed to get a dress and a pair of shoes delivered this morning for Sakura I hope that they are the right size. you should show her around the palace today"

"Aa" Sasuke replied taking the clothes from his mother. He threw the clothes on the bed and then laid down waiting for Sakura to finish her shower. About five minutes later the water shut off and he heard the curtain being pulled back. A moment later a wet Sakura came out wear the white towel he gave her and his face turned red as a tomato. Quickly regaining his composure he threw the dress that has on the bed to her. "Here"

"Thank you" Sakura replied before going back into the bathroom to change. The dress he gave her was a yellow sun dress with spaghetti strap and stopped under the knee. Obviously his mother had gotten it for her. She did not imagine Sasuke picking out something so bright and colorful. The dress was a perfect fit.

When she came out dressed Sasuke got up off the bed "I'll show you around, as long as you don't try to escape" Sakura nodded at him and slipped on the pair of heals that Sasukes mother had gave him. They were a little big but she was able to walk in them. She followed Sasuke out of the room down the hall and down Stairs to the dining area. On the table was almost every kind of breakfast food. Sasuke prepared two plates and put on in front of where he sat down. "Sit" He told her seeing her just stand there. She pulled out the chair and sat down waiting for Sasuke to eat before eating herself.

"So the rumors are true, There is an angel in the palace" Sasuke looked up to see his father's advisor and old mentor standing before him "Orochimaru this is princess Sakura Haruno from the Angel kingdom" Sasuke told him

Sakura looked up at the demon. She did not like the look of him he gave her the creeps. He skin was so pale it looked almost white he had long black hair and he had eyes that looked like a snake.

"Sakura this is-"

"Orochimaru, advisor to the king of the Demon kingdom" he said before picking up Sakura's hand and placing a kiss upon it. Sasuke's hand turned into a fist under the table. He knew it was proper etiquette to address a lady in such a way, but seeing Orochimaru do it to her did not sit well with him.

"Sorry Orochimaru but I must show Sakura the rest of the Palace" Sasuke said getting up from the table. Sakura followed Sasuke out of the room. Unaware of the glare the two were receiving from the man. Sasuke showed her the rest of the palace for the rest of the afternoon and they finished in the gardens to have lunch.

"The gardens are very beautiful Sasuke"

"You can thank my mother for that, she's the one who designed them" The gardens surrounded the palace inside the gates with fresh green dress cherry blossom tress and many different colored flowers and bushes. There were even fish bounds and bird fountains. Sasuke and Sakura were sitting at a table under a cherry blossom tree as Sakura admired the view. He was happy she was able to smile considering she was a prisoner in his kingdom. He enjoyed seeing her smile.

When they finished eating he was to take her to the hospital where she would heal all of the demons there under his father's orders. Sakura was reluctant being around demons all day afraid that they would harm her being an angel but when Sasuke told her he would be standing guard she felt more at ease.

"Kabuto, this is Sakura she is to help you with healing any injured demons" Sasuke told him

"An angel" He stated

"The king's orders" Sasuke replied

"You're the princess aren't you" Sakura nodded

"Fine follow me, don't you have somewhere to be Uchiha" Kabuto said

"I am to keep an eye on her" Sasuke replied emotionless.

"Fine very well, you can start with the obnoxious blonde in room 202, all the medical supplies can be found at the back and you will need to change into a uniform" He handed her a white coat and a black mini skirt. Sakura disappeared into the bathroom while Sasuke waited outside with his arms cross and leaning against the wall.

Sakura pulled off the dress and through on the red fitted t shirt and skirt pulling it down as much as she could. Giving up on getting down any further she through on the white coat luckily it covered more than the skirt did. When Sakura walked out Sasuke opened his eyes. They made their way to room 202. Sakura pushed open the door.

"wow" The blonde said looking her up and down before a huge grin spread on his face "your beautiful" He had bright blue eyes and a strong build.

"Dobe shut up" Sasuke said from behind Sakura

"Teme what are you doing here" The blond asked

"You to know each other?" Sakura asked looking between the two boys

"Yup my names Naruto Uzamaki, and you are?"

"Princess Sakura Haruno" Sakura replied

"princess, teme you didn't tell me you have a mate" Naruto said eyeing Sasuke. Sasukes eyes widened.

"Naruto I'm the princess of the Angel kingdom" Sakura clarified.

"What?" Naruto exclaimed "Really what are you doing here? Why are you hanging out with teme he's a cold hearted bastard."

Sasuke glared at Naruto

"it's a long story" Sakura replied. Naruto glanced at Sasuke. "So according to your chart, you tore your leg"

"that's right"

"Can you stretch it out for me" Naruto stretched it out wincing in pain Sakura rolled up his pant leg to take a look at the wound.

"I'm going to need to clean it before I can close it. This is going to sting"

Sakura applied some peroxide to a cloth and placed it over Naruto's wound "this is nothing I've had much worse ask the teme" Naruto said

Once the wound was clean she held her hands over his leg concentrating and hands began to glow green a moment later the wound began to slowly close. Naruto watched he closely. "Wow thank you Sakura-chan"

"You won't be able to put pressure on your leg for at least an hour" Sakura said before making her way out of the room

Sakura spent the rest of the evening healing demons until it was getting late the returned to the palace. everything seemed to going easy for the young Uchiha until it was time for them to go to sleep.

"No way not happening" Sakura said

"You did it last night" Sasuke reminder her which earned him a glare

"Only because you but me there, I told you last night and I'll tell you again I am not sharing a bed with you"

"fine" Sasuke replied going to bed ignoring Sakura

'just go lay down next to him he not going to bite..much"

'no way I'm not sleeping next to him'

The next morning Sasuke took Sakura to his mother in the lounge. She had called a fitter to the palace to take the girls measurements for clothing. Sakura was currently standing on a stool while the old women took Sakuras measurements.

"I hope my son has been at least tolerable" Mikoto said taking a sip of her tea.

Sakura couldn't help but smile "no need to be concerned Sas.. I mean prince Uchiha has kept a watchful eye on me" Sakura replied

"forgive me if I am being bold Sakura but do you hate us" Mikoto asked her

"Hate you?" Sakura questioned

"You've been taken prisoner by demons" Mikoto replied

"I understand that you want to put an end to the fighting, I think that both races just fail to understand each other which is why the fighting has been going on for so long." Sakura said

"We would much rather not fight the angels but that will never happen until the angels let us live in our kingdom." Mikoto replied

"Yes I do not agree with the views of my father neither does my mother. Everyone has a little good and a little evil in them some just have more than others. But to say that one race is only evil…I have met all of you and I don't consider you to be only evil, I see the good in all of you as well" Sakura said

"Thank you princess, you have a very kind heart, perhaps with you we can finally put the fighting to an end" Mikoto replied

"Please call me Sakura, prince Uchiha already does"

"Does he?" Mikoto said with a smile put it was more of a statement then a question.

That night Mikoto returned Sakura to her son's quarters. Sasuke opened the door "Thank you your highness"

A week passed by smoothly and Sasukes walk-in in closet was now over run with Sakuras clothing that the queen had ordered for the girl much to his displeasure. Sakura was working none stop at the hospital by order of his father, but it also kept him completely bored having to keep an eye on her. When Sasuke walked into his room one morning after breakfast he found his brother sitting on the bed next to Sakura and she was smiling and laughing "Itachi what are you doing here" Sasuke demanded. Itachi turned to look at his angered brother. Itachi smirked.

"'I'm just getting to know the angel that my brother spends most of his day with" Itachi replied.

"Get out" Sasuke ordered.

"Forgive me Sakura but I should be going before my brother kills me" he placed a kiss on her hand knowing it would only anger Sasuke even more. Sasuke followed him out into the hall.

"I told you not to come near her" Sasuke said

"Relax Sasuke I did not touch her" Itachi informed him.

Sasuke walked back into his room to find Sakura sitting on the bed with her arms crossed over her chest looking at him displeased "why were you so rude" She asked

"hn."

"Answer me Sasuke"

"Hn"

"god your impossible"

"And your annoying"

"well at least we have that cleared up" Sakura said glaring at him trying not to let his harsh words get to her. Sasuke glared back neither one breaking eye contact until finally Sasuke said

"I need to train today, you're coming with me" Sasuke said and yanked Sakura up by her arm roughly.

When they arrived at the training grounds. Sasuke let go of her now sore arm. "stay here" he said before making his way over to Naruto.

"Are you sure you want me to kick your ass in front of the princess teme?" Naruto asked him.

"As if, you're the one who is going to get your ass kicked dobe" Sasuke pulled his shirt off and tossed it to the side beside Sakura. Sakura blushed, seeing Sasuke with his shirt off she couldn't help but stare at his muscles. Naruto also pulled his shirt off tossing it behind him.

The boys glared at each other until Naruto ran at Sasuke. Naruto was fast but Sasuke was faster, able to anticipate every one of Naruto's moves with his Sharigan. "Come on teme, fight faire it's cheating using your family trait"

"Fine" Sasukes eyes returned to their normal onyx. This time Sasuke attacked Naruto landing a blow to Naruo's ribs.

"Well your speed is just as good" Naruto commented

"or your just slower eating all that ramen" Sasuke retorted

The boys threw punches and kicks at each other each, matching each other blow for blow they were equally matched. Sakura watched amazed seeing Sasuke in action although she knew this was nothing compared to what he was like on the battle field. Here him and Naruto were just doing hand to hand combat but out on the battle field they would use their complete strength. When they were done both were panting with sweat running down their bodies. Each had a few minor scrapes and bruises.

"Sakua-chan can you heal me?" Naruto asked her. She was about to walk over to him when Sasuke answered for her.

"no"

"why not?" Naruto asked

"you only have minor bruises and scrapes; she needs to save he energy for serious injuries" Sasuke replied.

"Geeze teme when did you become so protective" Naruto asked. A slight blush appeared on his cheeks

"hn"

"Come Sakura" Sasuke turned around only to see a demon standing behind him "So the rumors are true, there is an angel in the demon kingdom" A demon with silver eyes and long black hair said eyeing Sakura.

"Hyuga, what are you doing here" Sasuke said pulling his shirt back over his head.

"Uchiha, I'm here to discuss what has been going on in the north" The Demon replied. He turned his attention to Sakura "So do you have a name angel"

"Sakura Haruno" She replied

"Haruno, the princess?" He asked

"Aa" Sasuke replied

"hmph"

Suddenly a guard came running up towards Sasuke. "My lord there is a situation sir"

"What kind of situation?" Sasuke asked

"I'm not quite sure all we know is that several of our soldiers are acting really strange, they have been suddenly attacking one another for no reason at all. We have tried to get them to stop but it's like there being controlled and have this weird mark on their neck" The guard informed him

"Where are the soldiers now?" Sasuke asked

"For the moment we have them in the investigation room" the guard replied

"Forgive me Neiji but I must attend to this matter" Sasuke told Hyuga

"I will join you if you allow me, it seems like the same thing that has been going on in the north" He replied

"Very well"

Sasuke turned from the demon and looked at Sakura "Come" She followed Sasuke, Neiji, and the other demon down the many halls of the palace. They took so many stairs and turns that she was certain she would not find her way back if she were to try.

"Ah brother, we need your opinion, you and Orochimaru are the ones who train our soldiers and know how they normally are to respond so I thought it would be best for you to lead this investigation." Itachi said to Sasuke

"Where is Orochimaru?" Sasuke asked

"With father I'm afraid so it's just you" Itachi replied

"When did this start" Sasuke asked

"The earliest report says last night, a solider began screaming in pain but a few minutes later he seemed fine." Itachi replied

"Here are the photos of the markings" Itachi placed the photos on the table for his brother to look at. All the markings were in the same place on the neck. It had three comas and the weirdly shaped circle around it.

Sasuke looked at the others and noticed some were different some had markings going all the way up the neck and face. "These are different" Sasuke stated

"Yes what we have seemed to understand is that these are when the curse let's say is activated." Itachi replied.

"the very thing you are looking at right now is also happening in the north in larger numbers some have even died" Neiji informed the two princes.

"If we don't put an end to this it will put us at a disadvantage in the war" Sasuke said.

"Is there anything common concerning the victims?" Sakura suddenly asked

"Sakura stay out of this" Sasuke told her with a cold stare.

Saskura looked down feeling hurt. Seeing the hurt look on her face Sasuke couldn't help but feel a bit guilty which was strange. When do demons feel guilty about anything.

While in his quarters that afternoon Neither Sasuke nor Sakura had spoken to each other since the incident Sakura was sitting on the balcony reading a book, while Sasuke lay on his bed tossing a blade.

'urg why do I feel guilty?'

'maybe you care about her feelings'

'that's ridiculous demons don't care about others feelings'

'they do when it comes to someone they care about'

'I don't care about Sakura'

'yes you do, if you didn't you would have killed her and not kidnaped her'

'I don't care about her'

'then why do you feel so guilty'

A moment later an idea struck him that could help him get rid of the guilty feeling. He suddenly got up and grabbed Sakura by the arm garaging her out of the room. "wha..Sasuke?"

"So did you hear the angel princess is in the palace"

"I bet she's ugly" A red headed Demon said

"No apparently she is really pretty" Another female demon corrected

"I heard a rumor that prince Sasuke asked to be in charge of her" Another said

"You don't think he likes her do you"

"Please she's an angel prince Sasuke would never be interested in an angel" The red headed demon replied

"Um Karin.." One of the demons said

"What?" The red headed demon said

"Look" One of the demons pointed

She turned around on to see Sasuke pulling Sakura by the arm down the hall.

"That's it the whore needs to go, Sasuke is mine." Karin said

It wasn't until Sasuke stopped that Sakura noticed he had brought her to the hospital wing. When they got to the hospital they entered a room where a demon had been tied down to the bed. "Sakura I want you to run tests on the curse and find out as much as you can" Sasuke told her

"Your serious?" Sakura asked

"Aa"

That night Sasuke was once again having the same argument with Sakura they always had trying to get her to sleep in the bed.

"Are we really going to go through this again, it's been a week and you still refuse to sleep in the bed with me" Sasuke said glaring at the pink haired girl. Sakura didn't answer him she simply crossed her arms over her chest and turned away from him.

"Your back must be starting to hurt and I'm sure you are not sleeping very well" Sasuke continued. He was right her back was starting to hurt. She would much rather sleep in the bed but that meant sleeping next to a dangerous sexy demon by the name of Sasuke. Suddenly an image of her laying in the bed with a naked chested Sasuke hovering over her with her flashed though her mind. Sakura blushed at what she had just thought.

"What don't tell me you actually care about my well-being?" Sakura replied trying to cover up her blush. this time it was Sasukes turn to blush.

"Just get in the bed" Sasuke ordered.

"No" Sakura replied with her hands on her hips. Sasuke cursed in his head why did she have to be so sexy when she argued.

"Urg enough of this" Sasuke said before he got up from the bed and walked over to her.

"What are you doing?" Sakura questioned but Sasuke ignored her and picked her up and tossed her onto the bed.

Sakura glared at him

"Go to sleep Sakura" Sasuke said crawling into bed "and if you try and leave I'll have to hold you down so don't try it" Sakura froze all thoughts of getting out of the bed leaving her.

"Fine but I swear if you try anything" Sakura said glaring at Sasuke but he ignored her turning his back to her. Sakura laid her head on the soft pillow and was asleep within minutes

That night Sakura had gotten up in the middle of the night and went out onto the balcony looking up at the stars to quiet her thoughts. She stood there for about ten minutes before Sasuke voice came from behind her.

"What are you doing awake" Sakura turned around to look at him. His chest was bear and he wore only a pair of pants." he looked beautiful under the moonlight.

"I like looking at the stars at night" she confessed "at home I used to stay up late and paint" She continued.

"the stars? " Sasuke asked

"No not just the stars, I'd paint anything I could see, the forest, the town below, I loved painting" She replied

"hn" a single tear feel from her eyes but she quickly wiped it away. "don't get your hopes up you won't be leaving the castle" She turned away and walked out of the balcony.

Sasuke followed her. She laid down in his bed on the right side for the first time without a fight. Sasuke just shrugged it off and lay back down beside her.

When Sakura woke up the next morning she felt like her body was on fire. She opened her eyes only to find Sasuke had his arm draped around her waist and her back pressed against his chest, his NAKED! Chest. His soft breaths were tickling the back of her neck. Sakura's face turned red.

"Sasuke!"

"Sasuke wake up!"

"What do you want Sakura go back to sleep" Sasuke mumbled.

"yeah sure as soon remove your arm from my waist" Sakura told him

Sasuke eyes shot open and noticed their position. Sasuke quickly removed his arm from Sakura turning onto his back and Sakura got out of bed and running into the bathroom.

Sasuke ran a hand through his hair. What had just happened. How long had they been in that position? But what really bothered him was how relaxed he had been with her in his arm.

That afternoon Sasuke went to go train with Naruto only this time Neiji had requested to join them. When he arrived he noticed that Neiji and Naruto were already there waiting for him. He noticed that Naruto seemed to be in an argument with a dark haired girl who Sasuke recognized as Neiji mate Tenten.

"Uchiha decided to join us" Neiji said

"Aa. Someone took too long in the shower this morning" Sasuke said looking at Sakura.

"You brought Tenten" Sasuke continued looking back at neiji

"Yes she was insistent on meeting Sakura" Neiji replied

"Well at least they will keep each other occupied." Sasuke replied

"Shall we get started then" Nejij said

"Aa."

"Naruto Tenten stop your arguing, let's get started" Neiji told the two.

"What oh? So your Sakura" The Dark haired women said noticing the arrival of Sasuke and a pink haired girl. She had her hair tied up the two buns one on each side of her head and brown eyes. She was dressed as if she was going to train with the boys.

"Sakura this is Tenten Neiji's mate, She is also a weapons master" Naruto informed her

"Really that's impressive" Sakura replied

"Nice to meet you and thank you, although it bothers the boys a lot" She replied

"Are you done with our mindless chit chat I'd like to start" Sasuke said walking away from the girls

"Right, I'll come talk to you when I need a break from the boys" Tenten said before walking off with the boys further into the clearing.

Sakura watched from the sidelines as the four faced each other Sakura was impressed by how well tenten was able to fight like the boys. But when it came to the special abilities and hand to hand combat the boys had the upper hand. After about an hour tenten sat down beside Sakura.

"it's amazing how long they can go" Tenten said.

"Yeah" Sakura replied

"So tell me what is it like leaving in the angel kingdom is it different from our kingdom?" Tenten asked Sakura.

"Well that hard for me to say I have not seen outside the palace so I don't know what this kingdom is like." Sakura replied

"Oh you will have to see outside the kingdom one day then maybe you can come and visit me" Tenten said.

"I'd like that but I don't think that will be possible as I am a prisoner here probably for the rest of my life as I don't see this war coming to an end any time soon." Sakura replied

"I don't believe that, I believe that the war will come to an end one day, and with you here maybe it will happen even sooner" Tenten said

"Your very optimistic"

"I try, so tell me more about your kingdom"

"I had a few friends back home and social gatherings to attend form an early age. I rarely saw my father he spent most of his time lock up in his office with his advisors. Me and my mother were never treated very well by my father we had no say in any political matters. I had to learn what I would have to do as queen once I was to marry."

"Oh did you have a guy back home?" Tentan asked her

"Haha No I didn't men back home are afraid of my father they wouldn't even dance with me on the day of peace. Not that I would want any of them. I want a man who is not afraid to get what he wants one that is strong and proud." Sakura told tenten unaware of the young prince listening to every word. Sasuke smirked to himself.

"I hear you although mine has a little too much pride if you ask me." Tenten said looking over at Neiji.

"I've noticed that prince Sasuke has eyes for you" Tenten said eyeing the Uchiha who had been looking at the pink hair girl a moment ago only to look away when tenten noticed.

"That's ridiculous he is simply keeping an eye on me I'm his prisoner after all" Sakura replied with a blush

"Your blushing, you like Sasuke"

"n-no"

"I've known prince Sasuke for a long time and I've never seen him even give a women a second glace."

"Really? because Sasuke danced with me on the day of peace"

"What Sasuke danced with you on the day of peace?"

"Yeah why?"

"He totally wants you, if he broke the rules just to dance with you he likes you more than I thought"

"I doesn't matter I'm an angel his father would never approve of him taking an angel as a mate. And I think he is too proud to take an angel as his mate. I'm sure he will Mate with a high class demon.

I don't see Prince Sasuke mating with any of the women of the court that run after him. Prince Sasuke is more complicated he's not interested in just looks, he wants a women of value if you ask me, a women with skill and a mind of her own.

Tenen I'm telling he's not interested in me

Well I think your wrong and you and I are going to be good friends.

"I'd like that. I could use a friend. "

Well I'm going to be here a while so maybe I could convince the Uchiha to let me take you out.

Good luck with that, he makes sure I'm in his sigh at all times

The following day when the men were busy during training Tenten grabbed Sakuras hand dragging her off.

"Come with me"

"Tenten where are we going?" Sakura asked the dark haired girl

"Outside of the palace" Tenten said like it was no big deal

"What tenten what if he notices" Sakura said

"Heh as if there too busy with their training to even notice" Tentan said

"But what if-"

"Do you want to see the kingdom or not" Tentan asked her

"Yes but"

"Well come on then"

Once they got outside Tenten dragged her to the market area with all the shops and a rather busy area in the kingdom.

"Are you sure that's a good idea I mean I'm an angel" Sakura whispered so only Tenten would hear her.

"You will be fine I bet no one will even notice" The walked around the market area for about an area when a shop caught Sakuras attention and she stopped following Tenten falling behind. Tenten had no idea that the princess was not behind her and continued walking. Tenten panicked when suddenly she saw a dark haired prince approaching her.

"Sasuke what are you doing here?" Tenten said acting innocent

"Where is she" He demanded

"what who?" She asked

"Sakura I know she's with you" Sasuke said

"Oh she escaped from you, you should really keep a closer eye on her" Tenten said. Sasukes eyes tuned red now pissed off.

"You're lucky your Neij's mate or I'd kill you" He stated

"Heh as if" Tenten said crossing her arms meeting his glare

"I'm losing my patience with you Tenten where is she?"

"She right...oh" Tenten said looking behind her and not seeing Sakura. Sasuke stormed off in search of Sakura with Tenten close behind.

Sakura was admiring the clothing in one of the shops in the market when she was pushed up against the building suddenly. Her head hit the brick wall pain shooting up the back of her head and making he feel dizzy. In front of her was a male demon around her age with blonde hair and brown eyes. The man took hold of her chin. Her skin felt like it was burning when the demon touched her skin similar to when Sasuke touched her only when this demon touched her it felt like she was being burned whereas when Sasuke did it, it only felt like it was on fire. She suddenly realized that there was heat between her and the young prince and she secretly enjoyed when Sasuke touched her.

Turning around a corner Tenten and Sasuke found Sakura backed up against the wall of a building with a demon hovering over her. Sasuke saw the burns the demon was leaving on her which meant only one thing. This demon was a treat to her. Sasukes blood boiled at what he saw. His hand turned into a fist another demon was touching his princess.

Something snapped in Sasuke when the demon slid his hand over her neck. "Get your hands off my princess" Sasuke said unaware that he didn't say she was his prisoner but his princess. However, Sakura did notice and was shocked.

"My lord Uchiha" The demon said shocked to see the young prince. Sasuke grabbed the demons hand and twisted it behind his back and made him drop to his knees. Sasuke knocked him out by hitting him in the back of the head and the demon dropped to the ground. Sasuke turned to Sakura his red eyes spinning glaring at her.

"What the hell were you thinking Sakura leaving the palace, do you have any idea, the danger you just put yourself in" he said

Sakura hung her head down and Sasuke stopped when he noticed "I'm sorry I just wanted to see the kingdom"

"let's go" He said grabbing her arm "Tenten you might want to find Neiji he's pretty mad at you"

In heaven

"My lord a letter has arrived from the demon king" A servant said handing him a letter.

"What does he want now, another proposal for peace I imagine" He said taking the letter and ripping it open. The king's eyes scanned over every word his eyes widened before dropping the letter on the table and storming out of the dining room. The queen picked up the letter.

You might be interested to know that your little angel village that crosses over our borders is no longer. Can you not leave my people to live in peace? Why are you so intent on killing us? Leave us alone and we would do the same. I do not enjoy having to kill your people but you leave us no choice when you attack us. Can we not put the fighting to an end?

The queen gasped and her eyes filled with tears. Her only daughter was in the hands of the demon king.

"My king, they have our daughter" She said walking into his office

"Leave, I need to be alone and to think of how to handle this situation" he told her

"What is there to think about they have her we must negotiate" She replied

"No! that would win them the war they would get what they want the right to live" He snapped

"We don't have a choice; they have Sakura" The queen told him

"I know that, but I won't negotiate with them simply because they have our daughter I won't be blackmailed, in war sacrifices must be made" He said.

The queen couldn't believe what she was hearing "This is Sakura were talking about"

"I will ask you once more leave me to my thoughts" He said turning his back to his queen.

One day Sasuke and Sakura were sitting in his bedroom. Sakura was reading while Sasuke was sharpening and cleaning his weapons.

"Sasuke-kun can I ask you something?" Sakura said Sasuke smirked noticing the added suffix to his name.

"what?" he replied

"How come Naruto is so nice he doesn't seem like a demon" Sakura asked

"That's because he is a sad excuse for one" Sasuke replied

"That's not nice Sasuke-kun" Sakura said

"He's a fox demon and is mother was an angel" Sasuke informed her.

"so there are different kinds of demons?" Sakura asked.

"Aa"

"So what kind of demon are you?" Sakura asked

"Sigh. You really are annoying"

"..."

"Me and my brother and my father are fire demons with a few extra abilities" Sasuke informed her.

Sakura nodded her head in understanding.

In an unknown place a mysterious man was meeting with his boss.

"You wanted to see me sir"

"Yes I think I have come up with a plan to take down the Uchiha"

"Oh?"

"We will need the princess"

"May I ask why sir"

"I have been watching her and Sasuke, I have noticed that the young prince seems to have a weakness when it comes to the angelic princess."

"Are you sure sir?"

"Sasuke has never shown any interest in a woman before."

"Keep an eye on them a bit longer maybe even tests him a bit to discover if this theory of mine is correct and if it is I believe we can use her to take down the Uchiha. "

"Very well."

Being away from her kingdom for so long was starting to get to Sakura it had been six months now and she missed her parents, her friends, her kingdom. She wished that she wasn't a prisoner in the demon kingdom. She couldn't even step a foot outside Sasukes quarters without being escorted by him and he refused to take her outside the palace walls on the count that she was an angel. She had been strong up to now but today it really hit her hard. She was staring outside the window with tears running down her face. She didn't dare turn around when Sasuke walked into the room with their food. Sasuke placed the food down glaring at the girl. He could tell she was crying the way her shoulders shook and the small sounds coming from the girl. Crying was pointless it does nothing but show weakness.

"stop your crying, it won't do you any good" Sasuke said. Sakura turned to face him

"how can you be so cold and uncaring, I've been kidnaped and taken as a prisoner" She reminded him

"Is my company that unpleasant to you" he replied. Sakura's eyes widened fear of having offended him

"just release me…return me to my kingdom" Sakura begged

"answer the question" Sasuke said approaching her until he had her pushed up against the wall. He placed his hands on either side of her head blocking any escape

"Sasuke-kun.." Sakura whispered. His face was so close to hers. She could feel the warmth of his breath. That was all he need to hear that added suffix that she had added to his name a few days ago that made him feel that she was his. God she was beautiful he couldn't deny that he wanted her. He couldn't hold back the feelings he had for this women. To hell with the fact that she was an angel and he was a demon, he couldn't hold back any longer.

Suddenly his lips cashed down onto hers. Sakura's eyes widened shocked. Her hands slid up his chest to his neck. 'what am I doing he is a demon' "Sasuke-kun we can't" Sakura said breaking the kiss.

"I don't care" he said trying to kiss her but she turned her head and he kissed her neck

He pulled her hips up and made her wrap her legs around him and he kissed her forcefully again

"I can't ignore the fact that I want you and I know you want me"

"Sasuke-kun..."

"stop talking Sakura"

He walked them over to the bed and lay her down on it while her hovered over her body kissing her. Sakura gave in to him not being able to deny the way he was making her feel. He was right she wanted him just as much as he seemed to want her. She wrapped her hands around his neck as he kissed her. Her skin felt like it was on fire everywhere he touched and kissed. He sat up pulling her up with him. He pulled the dress she had on off over her head and tossed it to the ground. Revealing her lacy red bra and thong. "God your beautiful" He said. Sakura blushed and his lips were on hers once more. One of his hands tangled in her hair as the other on slid up her back and stopping at her bra. He was fumbling with the clasp when suddenly he sensed someone outside his quarters. He groaned in frustration. He quickly flipped their position and covered her with a blanket before there was a knock on the door. He yanked the door open and glared down at the soldier that stood in front of his door.

"Forgive me my lord but the king wishes to see you" He said before looking at the princess who lay in his bed. Sasuke followed his gaze only to realize the man was staring Sakura, Sasuke blocked the man's view and glared down at him "Something else?"

"N-no my lord" he bowed and walked away from the door.

Sasuke turned to Sakura "I'll be back" and left her alone in his quarters. Sakura touched her lips smiling remembering how it felt to have Sasuke's lips on hers. After a moment got out of the bed and pulled on a night gown. Before returning to the bed.

"You wanted to see me father"

"Yes I need to send you on a mission"

"It seems that the Angel Kingdom is not happy about the princess being here and has been sending out a lot more forces lately, I need you to lead a team to the borders and establish a strong defence and once you feel that they can handle things on their own you are to return."

"very well"

"I will have someone assigned to the princess immediately. I need you to leave as soon as you are able"

"Aa"

"H-hello? Are you my guard" Sakura asked the mysterious demon who was in the room watching her the next morning because Sasuke had to leave

"Shut up" The demon said

"Could you at least till me your name" Sakura asked

"I'm your guard that all you need to know now shut up" He told her.

The new demon that had also been assigned to watch her never said a word to her after the first day weeks passed and he simply stood guard, glared at her and brought her food. She actually found herself missing the young dark haired prince.

It had been a week since Sasuke had left on his mission when Sakura woke up on morning only to find numerous canvases, different kinds of paints and brushes had been delivered and placed in the room. Sakura quickly got out of the bed heading over to the canvases when she noticed an envelope attached to one of the canvases with her name on it. She took the envelope opening it up and taking out the letter.

I hope this will keep you busy in my absence.

Sasuke Uchiha

A smile spread across her face 'why would he do this'

One night while asleep in bed Sakura was not aware of the unwelcomed guests she was about to receive.

A hand camp over her mouth making her eyes open surprise. In front of her was an angel from her kingdom. He put a finger in front of his mouth signalling the princess to be quiet.

"W-wha? How?" Sakura whispered

"Your father sent me and a few others to rescue you, I need you to follow me and do exactly what I say." The male angel said before He went to take her hand. Sakura recoiled. Sakura felt confused sure she didn't want to be a prisoner in the demon kingdom anymore and wondered what would happen to her if they found her no longer usefully. But she wanted to put an end to the war and the only way she could see that happening is if she were to stay in the demon kingdom and force her father to make an agreement with the Demons.

"I'm sorry I can't go with you" Sakura said

"What are you talking about of course you can, if it's because your scared of being caught don't worry we will protect you if that happens"

"n-no I can't I may be the only one who can put an end to this war. If I stay here maybe I can get the king to negotiate with the demons" Sakura said

"Princess open your eyes you're in the demon kingdom as long as demons are alive angels can never truly live without fear of an attack they must be eliminated" The angel said

"you sound like my father I don't believe that his way is the right way" Sakura replied

"Those words could convict you of treason" The angel reminded her

"I have spoken with the queen they don't want to fight us, if father would leave them in peace they would do the same." Sakura said

"Only someone as Naive as you could believe such a lie. It's just an act to get us to lower our guard so they could attack and kill us all when we lower our guard, they would spare no one including you."

"Your wrong" Sakura said refusing to believe his words

"You can discuss this back at the palace with the king" The angel said having heard enough from the princess and grabbing her hand trying to pull her out of the bed.

"No I won't go!" Sakura yelled hoping the guard would hear her.

"Damnit princess" The angel cursed and he hit the pressure point of her neck making the young princess pass out. He hoisted her over his shoulder and exited bay the balcony window just as a demon into the bedroom.

"Hey stop!" He yelled after them but the angel had already flown out the window.

"Sound the alarm the prisoner has escaped" He yelled running out of the bedroom.

The angel guard flew as long as he could until his wings got tired while being chased by demons. He landed on the ground. He was about a half hour distance away from the angel borders. All of a sudden Sakura woke up to find herself thrown over someone's shoulder. With her feet she kicked the person cause them to drop her on the ground.

"Ah, what, why did you kick me"

"you kidnaped me!" Sakura accused

"No I'm rescuing you"

"I told you I didn't want to be rescued" Sakura said

During their arguing they didn't notice the raven haired demon appear in front of them. It wasn't until he spoke that they both turned in his direction "going somewhere?" He asked.

"Sasuke "

"I believe that you have my princess" Sasuke said addressing the angel. The angel placed his hand on the hilt of his sword by his hip.

"She's not your prisoner anymore, it is my duty to rescue her by order of the king." The angel replied

"Well I'm afraid your little rescue mission ends here." Sasuke pulled out his sword from his back and his eyes blazed red.

The angel began to scream in pain and dropping to his knees.

"Sasuke-kun please stop, you don't need to kill him I will go with you, I didn't want to leave but he knocked me out and when I woke up I was on my way back to heaven. I believe as your mother does that perhaps with me in your kingdom I can help end this war." Sakura pleaded with Sasuke hoping he would believe her.

The screaming stopped and the angel got to his feet as Sakura was making her way over to Sasuke but the Angel held her back

"Let me go!"

"Princess don't be foolish, these demons are only using you to win the war, they are blackmailing the king and if they succeed and make us back down they will only turn around and attack when we're not expecting it." The angel said

"you're the ones that are blood thirsty and want my kind exterminated, you're the ones that can't stand the idea of us existing. Your fear is your problem not my kind" Sasuke spoke

"That's it" The angels charged at Sasuke but he was ready with this eyes blazing red he could anticipate the angels every move. However, before the two could clash Saskura ran in between the two trying to stop them but the angel pushed her out of the way and into a nearby tree. Sakura laded on the ground after making impact with the tree but was otherwise alright.

"Stay out of this princess" Sasuke glared at the angel for treating her in such a way.

"That's how you protect the princess of your kingdom by causing her pain, and kidnapping her but claiming it's a rescue." Sasuke said turning his attention back to the angel

"I'm under orders of the king to do whatever it takes to get her back to the king, if I have to cause her a little bit of pain to get her there I will." The angel replied

"Hn. Your about to feel a great deal of pain angel"

"Sasuke-kun please don't kill him!" Sakura yelled haltering both men's movements.

"What Sasuke-kun? Don't tell me you care for this monster"

"There not monsters, they have a right to live in peace just like our kind" Sakura replied ignoring the question.

The angel ignored her pulling out his sword and running at Sasuke. Sasuke pulled out his own sword blocking the angels attack. "Your fast but can you keep up with me" Saskue said before disappearing from sight. From in the trees sasuke made a bunch of hand signs and fire ran at the angel from sasukes mouth. The Angel narrowly avoided the attack. As the fight continued on the angel was getting tired while Sasuke looked like he barely had broken a sweat. Sasuke kicked the angel in the ribs sending him into a nearby tree.

Sasuke picked up Sakura a began walking away from the angel who glared at sasukes back before getting up and running at him only to have sasuke turn around and the angel ran himself into Sasukes knife. "Fool, you should have let us go"

"I'm not the fool I was just stalling long enough for my back up." the angel informed Sasuke. Suddenly about 50 angels appeared and Knocked Sasuke in the back of the head knocking him out cold.

"Sasuke kun!" Sakura bent down to help him when suddenly she was grabbed and hand cuffed. "What?"

"Sorry princess but your actions are actions of treason and therefor I have no choice, the king will decide your fate" he informed her.

The angel had himself healed and they continued on their way to heaven leaving Sasuke on the ground out cold.

It took them only an hour to get back to heaven since they had been so close to the border of heaven when Sasuke attacked them. Sakura thought she would be happy to see her home again but she couldn't help but worry about Sasuke. Before she knew it she was being ushered into her father's office.

"What is the meaning of this why is my daughter in handcuffs?" The king demanded

"She committed acts of treason my lord" the angel informed him

"What?!" the king said

"She refused a rescue resulting in myself having to kidnap her, and she kept talking about how she didn't believe in killing the demons and how they should be left in peace and they don't want to fight us"

"Leave us" The king ordered

"My lord" The angel bowed and exited the room leaving Sakura alone with her father. He got out from behind his desk and approached his daughter.

"is this true Sakura" He asked her.

"Yes I don't believe in our ways father its wrong, they don't deserve to die just leave them in peace and they won't fight us." Sakura told her father hoping he would listen to her.

The king glared at his daughter and slapped her across the cheek. Sakura's whole face turned to the side her hair falling into her face and a red print appearing on her cheek.

"Where did you get such nonsense" He spat.

"I spoke with the queen she told me they would leave us in peace if we would do the same, but if we don't they must protect themselves" Sakura replied

"I can't believe I'm hearing this from you, there lying to you Sakura, they want us to drop our guard so they can wipe us out" He said

"No"

"I can't believe I'm hearing this from you, my daughter" the king said before turning his back to her.

"I never believed in your ways father even before I was kidnaped" Sakura said which resulted in the deadliest glare she had ever seen from her father.

"Then you are no longer my daughter" He informed her.

"Guard" He yelled and an angel walked into the room.

"My load"

"Put her in a cell" The king ordered

"What?" Sakura said shocked. Two guards grabbed came up on each side of her grabbing her arms

"You will spend your days in a cell until you remember who you are" The king informed her.

Sakura hands were unbound, she was pushed into a dirty dusty cell, and a guard locked it behind her.

Sakura slid against the wall until she hit the ground. Tears swelled into her eyes and fell down her cheeks. She pulled her legs up to her chest and buried her head in her arms with one thought in mind. 'Sasuke-kun…'

When Sasuke came to the sun was peeking out over the trees indicating it was early morning. Getting to his feet he noticed that Sakura was indeed gone. Sasuke punched a nearby tree cutting open his knuckles. 'I'll get you back Sakura' he thought to himself before heading to the palace to speak with his father.

Sasuke walked into his father's office and noticed his brother was already here.

"By the look on your face I take it you have heard" Itachi said

"I tried to intercept them at the borders however the angel had back up and knock me out" Sasuke said

"So she's gone then" the king said intertwining his hands in front of his face thinking

Suddenly the door opened and the queen walked in. "Fugaku there is a rumour going around and I don't know how much truth there is too it"

"If it is about Sakura we already know she has been taken to heaven" Itachi said

"No this is different" She replied "Apparently the King of heaven has imprisoned Sakura"

Sasukes hand turned into a fist. Fukagu looked somewhat surprised.

"why would he do that" Itachi said

"According to the note, there saying she committed treason by fighting an angel that tried to take her back to heaven and because she doesn't believe in fighting us which is going against her father, the king's wishes.

"Father, let me get her out of there" Sasuke said

The king pondered what Sasuke said for a moment "Alright you and itachi will make a team and get the princess out of there"

"Brother my team of Akatsuki are ready to help when do you want to leave"

"Tonight" Sasuke said

"She does not belong in a cell" Sasuke stated walking out of the room. A smile crept onto Itachi lips 'i think brother is smitten with the angel princess' itachi thought

Sasuke dressed in all black so that he would be harder to see under the night. He fastened his sword on his back and went to find Naruto.

"Hey teme" Naruto greeted after opening the door to his quarters and finding his dark haired friend standing in front of him. Naruto noticed he was dressed in battle gear.

"Naruto I have a mission that I would like you to join me on" Sasuke told him

"what kind of mission?" Naruto asked

"Sakura has been imprisoned by her father, I'm breaking her out" Sasuke replied

"What! How? When?" Naruto spoke in a very loud tone

"will you help me or not?" Sasuke asked ignoring the blonde's questions.

"I'll meet you at the gate" Naruto replied

Sasuke nodded and left Naruto to get ready

Sasuke, Naruto, and Itachi along with his brothers most trusted men left the Kingdom at night fall making their way towards the Heaven Kingdom on horseback. Much to Sasuke displeasure it took them a day's travel to reach the kingdom. Meaning that Sakura spent the whole night in a prison cell. They left their horses about an hour away from the kingdom to avoid them being discovered.

"Alright I suggest we ask around town if they have heard anything, we need to be careful not to be discovered as demons" Itachi said.

"How are we going to do that?" Naruto asked.

"Well for one we will keep our wings deactivated." Sasuke said

"Second we need to not use our powers for that will be a dead giveaway and act nice and friendly" Itachi said.

"tch"

"Brother I'm serious, if you want this mission to succeed it is crucial that we are not discovered, if there is even a suspicion of demons around they will increase security and you will never get to Sakura" Itachi told his brother

"I'm aware" Sasuke replied glaring at his brother

"Brother go with Naruto, he will fit in easily so the villagers probably won't subsect you if you with him" Itachi said.

"Sasori come with me" Itachi said to a redheaded demon

With Sakura

Sakura was unable to sleep the entire night not that she would have wanted to in a dirty cell to begin with. She had no indication as to what time it was or if it was even morning. There was no window in her cell other than the one in the door that faced towards another cell. No one brought her food or water and she imagined her father would insure that no one did until she cracked and begged for his forgiveness and saw things his way.

Suddenly she heard he cell being unlocked and a guard stood in front of her.

"I am to take you for questioning"

"Questioning?" Sakura asked

"yes by order of the king" 'So father no longer trusts me...so much that he is treating my like any other prisoner' she thought to herself as the demon cuffed her hands and pushed her out of the cell towards the interrogation rooms.

Sakura was brought into a room that had nothing but a table and a chair in it. The guard forced her down into the chair and cuffed her hands to the arms of the chair. He then stood in the room and another angel walked in who would interrogate her. He had messy brown hair and a scar that covered half his face.

"you will tell us everything you know about the kingdom of hell, about the princes and their army and any weaknesses you think they may have" he demanded

"No" Sakura replied not looking at the angel.

"Are you saying that you refuse to give any information about the enemy to help your kingdom win the war." He said

"I want the end of the war as much as anyone but I will not aide in the death of more demons or angels" Sakura told him

"Perhaps you will tell us when you're an inch from death" Sakura's eyes widened

"My father would never allow it" Sakura said

"that's where your wrong, he has given me permission to do whatever it takes to get the information out of you. Besides he has disowned you." He informed her. To say that it didn't hurt would be a lie but she tried to not let her emotions get the better of her while being interrogated.

"So are you sure you don't what to tell me anything" the angel said who was now standing behind her.

Sakura did not utter a word.

"I take it by your silence that you still refuse" he stated

He pulled out a dagger and sliced down her arm.

Sakura's face scrunched up in pain and winced from the metal slicing her porcelain skin open.

He grabbed her forearm that had been sliced open and squeezed. Making Sakura scream "ahh!"

"I can do much worse princess" he informed her

He slapped her across the face hard "tell me the demons weaknesses" he ordered

"No" Sakura replied

He sliced open her other arm, then her legs before stabbing her in the right thigh "Ahhh!" Sakuras scream filled the whole room "You Bastard" Sakura said tears falling from her eyes.

"Take her beck to her cell, I won't get anything out of her today" He order the guard in the room. The guard dragged a bleeding limping Sakura back to her cell. He removed the binding from her hands before shoving her back into the cell and locking her inside.

Sakura tore part of her dress using the cloth to wipe the blood clean and wrap it tight around her thigh to stop the bleeding fear of losing to much blood.

Sasuke Naruto and itachi met back up as the night began to fall upon the kingdom. "Okay I overheard some conversations from some of the villagers, Sakura is indeed imprisoned in one of the cells. "We need to find a way into the palace" Sasuke told his brother.

"There is a window in the palace that we can use to get into the cells based on the floor plan if we can find that window we can get Sakura" Itachi told Sasuke.

"We will need to get passed the palace gates however" Naruto Said

"We will wait until dark and we will use the night to our advantage, there are two guards at the west entrance." Sasuke said

"So we kill them before they know what hit them."

Sasuke smirked at his brother.

There were able to take out the guards with ease and found the window that lead to the dungeons rather quickly, it was big enough for them to slip through. Inside there were many cells and with doors that had small windows. Itachi left Sasuke and Naruto to find Sakura while he snuck up on the guards by the entrance from behind knocking them out.

Sasuke peered into multiple cell windows trying to find the one Sakura was located in while his brother tried to find the keys.

Sudden Sakura heard her name being called from Sasukes smooth voice "Sakura!" Sakura came to only one conclusion she was going crazy. Shed lost too much blood and was now hallucinating.

"Sakura" She heard again much closer

"Sasuke?" Sakura said in a weak voice limping over to the door

"Sakura where are you?"

"Sasuke I'm here!" Sakura cried with everything she could

Sasuke stopped in front of the door he thought he heard her voice come from.

"Sakura?"

"Sasuke-kun"

"Sakura! Itachi did you find he keys?"

"Yeah I got it" his brother said approaching him dangling the key. Sasuke grabbed the key from his brother and began unlocking the door. Once he opened the door he ran to Sakura hugging her to his chest. But he felt her wince as he hugged her.

"what's wrong?" he backed away slightly and saw her bloody leg torn dress and cuts up her hands as well as a red mark on the side of her face.

Sasuke bent down to examine her thigh "Sakura can I?" Sasuke asked looking up at her face.

Sakura nodded letting him lift the hem of her dress slightly to examine the cut he pulled the bloody cloth she had wrapped around the thigh off. The wound appeared infected "this needs to be looked at" Sasuke said

Sakura nodded her head, letting tears escape her eyes. "you came for me?"

"Aa. Let's get you out of here" Sasuke lifted her into his arms carrying her bridal style.

But when they turned around a female with the same pink hair stood in front of them.

"So it's true, he had you tortured, my beautiful daughter" the women spoke tears running down her face.

"Itachi blocked the woman's way to Sakura and Sasuke

"Itachi its okay it's my mother" Sakura said

Itachi let her pass and she approached Sasuke "You're the prince, I recognize you as the one who danced with my daughter on the day of piece" She said to Sasuke "How did you get here?" she asked him a moment later

"I'm a demon" Sasuke stated

"Sakura I'm so sorry" the queen said to her daughter taking her daughters hand into both of hers. "I've tried everything he won't listen to me it's as if I do not exist."

"I know" Sakura said

"Please take her away from here, don't let the king near her" Sakura's mother said to Sasuke

"Aa"

"Wait, mother come with us...she can come with us cant she Sasuke?"

"Brother we have to go" Itachi said

Naruto was the first to climb out the window. Sasuke hoisted Sakura up and she grabbed onto Narutos extended hand that and he pulled her through the window.

Suddenly and alarm went off "Fuck" Itachi cursed.

Sakura's mother followed after Sakura. Then Sasuke and itachi. Approaching the gate that the came in by they noticed that there were at least 10 angels at the location examining the bodies.

"We should have done something with the bodies" Itachi said

"nothing we can change now" Sasuke said

"What do we do there are 10 of them and 3 of us" Naruto said

"Sasuke looked down at the weak and fragile Sakura. He knew she needed water and medical treatment soon." Sasuke placed her down on the ground and handed her mother a small sword.

"while my back is turned" he said. Sakura's mother nodded taking the blade understanding that she would protect her daughter while Sasuke fought.

Sasuke, Naruto, and Itachi engaged the angels catching a few of them off guard. Sasuke's blade stabbed one in the back right through the heart. Itachi cut another one and Naruto leaped onto one stabbing him in the neck with a small blade bringing their numbers down to 6. "Demons!" the angels shouted.

Sasuke sword met the blade of and angel but Sasuke was stronger and was able to knock him back into the other charging angel. Sasuke stabbed him before he could get up. The other one glared at Sasuke getting to his feet before Sasuke could reach him getting into a defensive position. Sasuke activated his family treat his red eyes now spinning and catching the angel within them. The angel screamed and Sasuke killed him while he suffered by breaking his neck. Itachi had also taken out two angels and was now helping Naruto finish off the last one with ease. Sasuke went back to retrieve Sakura and her mother however when he got there Sakura had fallen unconscious. Sasuke got Sakura into his arms and they ran through the gates no longer on the palace grounds. They used the back allies that the queen knew to avoid detection while in the village. However, when they reached the village gates about 10 angels were waiting for them.

"Surrender demons and drop your weapons you are outnumbered."

"Are we?" Itachi said

The angels looked at him confused

"Turn around" Itachi said

They looked behind them and there stood Itachi's most trusted demons.

"Get Sakura and her mother out of here Sasuke, me, Naruto and my men will handle this" Itachi told him

"hn"

Sasuke waited until he found a clear path and took off with Sakura's mother right behind him.

"Are you sure you want to leave your brother?" Sakura's mother asked

"He can handle it" Sasuke replied

Sasuke got Sakura onto his horse. "Take the white horse, its Naruto's he can ride with Itachi back" Sasuke said before getting behind Sakura on the horse. Sakura' s mother mounted her horse with ease. Sasuke wrapped his arms around Sakura before grabbing the rains.

"Prince Uchiha may I ask you something?"

"Aa."

"What made you do this?"

The question stilled him, why had he done this? When he woke up after being knock out from the angel he was angry that she was taken from him and when he found out about he imprisonment He felt the need to protect her and just the thought of her in a cell did not sit well with him, could it be that he cared for her.

"It's okay you don't have to answer I think I understand, just by the way my daughter reacted when you came for her."

Sasuke turned his face away as a blush crept up his cheeks and took off towards his kingdom.

Sasuke didn't stop until they reached the palace steps. Sasuke dismounted his horse and then pulled Sakura off and gathered her back into his arms. Sakura's mother also dismounted and a servant took the horses towards the stables.

When they walked in his mother was waiting for them "Sasuke your back, oh?"

She saw Sakura in his arms and a woman who had the same pink hair as Sakura.

"Mother, Sakura needs medical attention and this is Sakura's mother." Sasuke informed his mother

"Your highness" Sakura mother bowed to the queen

"we can do introductions later we need to get Sakura medical attention" Sasuke mother said taking off towards the medical wing.

Sasuke got Sakura to the hospital wing and placed her on a bed where she was taken by a nurse to x-ray her thigh.

"Sasuke why don't you go find your father to inform him what is going" Sasuke nodded at his mother and left the hospital wing leaving the two queens alone.

"your highness I can't tell you how thankful I am for prince Uchiha getting my daughter out of the prison cell" Sakuras mother said to the queen

"Please call me Mikoto, but I do not know why you are here?" Sasuke mother asked

"what my king has done to my daughter its unforgivable he tortured our daughter. The reason she is in your hospital wing right now is because of him, those wounds on her are because he ordered to have her interrogated for information and to get it by any means. He put her in prison because she had enough of the war and spoke her mind something I have never been able to do. I have always shared the same views as my daughter I just never voiced them to him because of my fear. I never imagined that sakura would voice our views regarding the war to him but after spending time here with you she came back with courage. So he disowned her and threw her in a cell and tortured her. I could do nothing I failed to protect my daughter." Sakuras mother confessed.

Mikoto felt sorry for the women "Your highness what's done is done I don't think Sakura thinks you failed her." She replied

"Oh please don't call me that I have abandoned my kingdom and my king I am no queen Mebuki will be fine." Sakuras mother replied

"You had every reason to leave you did the right thing" Mikoto said offering her a tissue.

"You are welcome to stay with us, I will get you a room in the palace and you can join us for dinner tonight"

"Thank you Mikoto"

The nurse returned and addressed Mikoto

"Your highness the princess's x-rays look good. Nothing too serious she most likely fell unconscious due to lose of blood and lack of sleep as for her thigh there was no puncture to the bone we have disinfected the wound and healed it up however it has left a small scar behind. We have given her some antibiotics to get rid of any infection and she will need to continue to do so for one week to make sure. You are free to see her but she is sleeping at the moment I suggest you let her sleep as she needs her rest.

"Come why don't we get you settled in and let the girl sleep for now" Mikoto suggested.

With Sasuke

Knock Knock

"come in"

"Father" Sasuke said

"Welcome back Sasuke, where is itachi?" His father asked

"We ran into some angels getting out of the kingdom, but it's nothing itachi can't handle with Naruto and the others" Sasuke replied

"Where you successful?" He asked

"Aa. She is receiving medical attention at the moment but there is something you should know" The king waited for sasuke to continue "The Queen of Heaven is here she has abandoned her kingdom and her king"

"Where is she now?" The king asked

"With mother" Sasuke replied

"I am sure your mother has gotten more information as to why she abandoned her kingdom" Sasukes father said

"I believe it may have to do with the fact that the king tortured Sakura" Sasuke informed his father

"his own daughter" The king said.

Sasuke returned to the hospital after speaking with his father to see Sakura. A nurse showed him to her room when he asked where he could find her. Pushing the white door open he found Sakura asleep in the bed in the middle of the room. Her pink hair fanned out over the pillows around her face and down her shoulders. One arm rested at her side and the other under her chest. Sasuke noticed her lack of pink cheeks making her face pale. He hoped she would wake soon so that he could see her bright green eyes.

He decided he did not want to leave her in a hospital room so he pulled the blankets back and picked her up into his arms planning on carrying her to his chambers. As he picked her up bridal style but stalled when he thought for a moment she was awake when he heard her whisper his name. "S-sas…uke" but her regular breathing and closed eyes told him she was still asleep. He was half way down the hall when a nurse approached him. "My lord, she has not been released yet"

Sasuke ignored the nurse and kept walking until her reached his room. He shifted her in his arms carefully so that he could open his door to his room and kicking the door closed behind him. He walked across the floor to where his bed lay. He lay her down onto the bed satisfied that she was now back in his room. Sasuke got on the bed next to her in a sitting position planning on reading until she woke.

About an hour later there was a knock on the door when he opened his door his mother was standing there with a panicked look on her face. "Sasuke, Sakura is missing from the hospital" She said

"She's not missing" He replied

"no she is she's not in her room in the hospital" She replied

"I know" Sasuke said

"What? You know? I don't…she's with you isn't she?" She said. Sasuke smirked and let his mother into his room. Stepping into the room the queen saw Sakura asleep in her youngest sons bed.

The queen looked at her son for a moment 'could it be he cares for her'

"Sasuke I don't think Sakura's mother would approve of her being here with you" His mother informed him. Sasuke eyes narrowed "She should have her own room" The queen continued. "how about the one just across?" She suggested

"hn" Sasuke responded. Not happy about the fact.

"I'll have the maids move her things into that room, you can inform Sakura when she wakes up" The queen said making her way to the door. "Oh and dinner is in one hour in the main dining hall me and your father wants you to be there" She continued before leaving Sasuke alone with Sakura.

Sasuke was getting ready for the dinner that would start in 15 minutes. He had just finished his shower and was taking out his formal clothing that he planned to wear to dinner. When they ate together in the main hall it was usually because they had company and meant that he was to dress formally and act accordingly.

He went into the washroom to pull on his clothing and when he came out he noticed Sakura shifting on the bed. He sat down beside her waiting to see if she would wake up. "Sakura?"

She slowly opened her eyes allowing Sasuke to see her beautiful green eyes. " Sasuke?" She said pulling herself up in a sitting position.

"Aa"

She looked around of a moment "Were in your room" She noted

"Aa." Sasuke replied "Sakura, you are no longer a prisoner in this Kingdom. My mother has arranged for you to have our own room across from mine" Sasuke said.

"really?" Sakura asked with a smile

"Aa."

"Where is my mother?" Sakura asked

"I don't have any details on your mother, but I imagine she will be at dinner that we will be late for unless you get dressed" Sasuke said

Sasuke disappeared into the walk-in closet looking for a dress for Sakura that he was sure his mother purchased for Sakura.

Sasuke pulled out a midnight blue dress that had silver rhinestones on the front. The dress stopped at her calf with a v neck line and tied behind her neck leaving her back exposed.

Sasuke offered her the dress which she took and went to the dresser pulling out a change of undergarments hiding them within the dress so Sasuke didn't see them before disappearing into the bathroom.

She pulled off the hospital robe she had on off along with her bra and panties. She pulled on a new pair of panties and bra before stepping into the dress. She tied the dress behind her neck and smoothed out the dress before exiting the bathroom and meeting Sasuke and putting on a pair of heals. Sasuke offered her his arm which she took and they made their way towards the dining hall.

When they arrived everyone was waiting for them.

"Your late my son" The king said. He was seated at the head of the table with his mother to his right and Sakuras mother to his left. There were two empty chairs one next to his mother, Sasuke pulled out the one closest to his mother for Sakura he waitied for her to sit down before he pushed her in and sat down next to her and across from Itachi who sat next to sakura's mother.

"Forgive me, Sakura only woke 15 minutes before we were due to arrive." Sasuke said

"That's quite alright, she needed her rest, how are you feeling princess?" Sasukes mother asked

"Still a little tired, but otherwise alright" Sakura replied

"Your thigh does not hurt" Sakuras mother asked her.

"No the doctor did a good job almost as good as myself." Sakura said

"Sakura do not insult the queens staff!" her mother scolded

"That's quiet aright Mebuki, I don't think Sakura meant it as an insult to my staff but rather a complement as your daughter is an amazing doctor herself." Sasukes mother said.

Sasuke smirked to himself glad that his mother knew what Sakura meant.

"Right, I have asked everyone to join use for dinner, because I thought it would be a good opportunity to discuss some important matters concerning this kingdom, the kingdom of heaven and of course princess Sakura and Queen Mebuki." Sasuke father said

Feeling Sakura's nervousness. Sasuke put his hand on her knee and whispered "relax" into her ear which did not go unnoticed by itachi. Just the simple touch made her skin feel like it was on fire. But her attention was brought back to Sasuke's father when he addressed her.

"Sakura I would like to explain to you my actions in holding you prisoner in my kingdom if you would allow me"

Sakura nodded

"This war has been going on for a very long time even before I was born, I fought in the war much like my sons are now doing. I have seen the blood and have had to kill angels regrettably. I wish for nothing more than for my sons to grow old and not for their life to be taken on the battle field. When you arrived here I saw an opportunity to end the war. That I could use you to strengthen my army and blackmail the king to stand down hoping that you were a weakness to him. I am sure you don't agree with sure a method but I am a demon after all and I must do whatever it takes to protect my family and my kingdom." He informed her

"If only it had been that easy, but the truth of the matter is that the king does not love me more then he loves power and his dream to annihilate your kind." Sakura said and a tear slid down her face. Sakura quickly whipped it away. "When I was brought to my father after being here he would not listen to a word I had to say about ending the war and leaving your kind in peace."

"I can honestly tell you you're highness that as long as he is alive he will never end the war not until he has killed every last demon." Sakura mother added.

"Aa. This whole ordeal has shown me that much" the king said. After a moment he continued and said "Sakura I ask for your forgiveness and I offer you and your mother a place here in the palace as long as you want it"

Sasuke and itachi were both shocked Sasuke had never seen his father ask for forgives from anyone.

"With all due respect your highness I must decline me and Sakura do not belong here. I abandoned my kingdom and have left my King. I am the queen and rather than standing and fighting I ran away like a coward. If the King found out that we are here it will only add to his anger towards this kingdom. I am Sakura's mother and I will do what I must to provide for her. I will find a job and me and Sakura will live in the outskirts-"

Sasukes hand on Sakuras knee tightened and interrupted Sakura's mothing saying "No"

"Sasuke" Itachi said

"Excuse me?" Sakuras mother said

"If you wish to leave then leave but I will not let you take Sakura with you I will not ride up there one day and find you both dead by angels or rouge demons, when you could have been here safe in the kingdom and palace walls." Sasuke said glaring at her.

"s-sasuke-kun" Sakura whispered

"He speaks the truth, the outskirts are not safe its where the rouge demons live and not only that who is to say that the king of heaven will not track you down and have you killed." Sasukes mother said.

"Your highness I would like to stay if you will allow me to do so" Sakura said

"Sakura I am your mother and I will decide-" Sakuras mother said to her daughter only to be interrupted

"Mother I am an adult and I will make my own decisions, if you don't want to stay that fine but I will" Sakura informed her.

"Princess you are welcome to stay I believe a room as already been set up for you, and Ms. Haruno my offer still stands if you are here in the morning then I will have taken it as your decision to have stayed" Sasukes father said "What we now need to decided is what course of action we take regarding this war. We now know that the king will not change his ways no matter what. He will stop at nothing until every last demon is dead." He continued

"Father I see only one option" Itachi said

"You have to kill my King" Sakuras mother said.

"I'm afraid that it is our only option" The king said

That night after dinner Sasuke escorted Sakura upstairs so that she could get settled into her own room. Sasuke opened the door for Sakura letting her walk into the room first. Sakura had a look around the room. The room was very much like Sasukes only the walls were painted a natural cream color. There was a large king sized bed with white silk sheets and a red blanket with the Uchiha fan above the bed. There was a bedside table on each side of the bed. In the corner of the room was a tall dresser with a mirror on top. On the opposite side of the room was a walk in closet. Because the room was on the opposite side of the palace there was no balcony or window however she had a small fireplace and two chairs.

"Is it to your liking?" Sasuke asked after observing her take in the room. A smile spread across her face.

"yes thank you Sasuke-kun" She said turning around to face him.

"The maids should have transferred all of your clothes while we were down stairs at dinner" Sasuke informed her.

"It will feel strange not sharing a room with you" Sakura said

"let me know if you need anything" Sasuke said before turning and making his towards the door.

"Sasuke-kun wait" Sakura said grabbing his hand. Sasuke half turned towards her. "um, I just wanted to thank you for everything, if it weren't for you I probably would still be in that cell and still getting tortured"

"You did not belong in a prison cell" "Sasuke said. Before he could leave Sakura leaned up and kissed him on the cheek. He quickly left her alone in her room disappearing into his.

After Sasuke left, Sakura went to take a much needed shower. She turned on the warm water and striped out of the dress and underwear. She placed them into the hamper and stepped into the shower. She let the warm water relax her swore muscles and rinse off the dirt and dried blood that the nurses and doctors had missed when she was in the dirty prison cell. She found a bottle of strawberry shampoo in the shower and squirted some into her hands before scrubbing into her wet hair. Once she was washed she turned off the shower water and stepped out of the shower wrapping a towel around her torso and towel dried her hair. She exited the bathroom and pulled on a night gown before crawling into bed for some much needed sleep.

That night Sasuke lay in bed with an arm behind his head with no shirt wearing only a pair of sweats. 'I need to control these emotions she's and angel and I'm a demon.'

'damnit Sakura what have you done to me' after tossing and turning for over an hour Sasuke got out of bed and made is way over to Sakura's room. He carefully opened the door making sure to not make any noise her back was facing towards him so he made his way around the bed looking at her peaceful face.

"I don't know how but somehow you have awoken emotions in me a demon should never have" He whispered. He sat down where her body curved out and tucked the hair that had fallen back behind her ear.

"Sakura your back I'm so happy" Tenten said hugging Sakura. Tenten arrived early in the morning pulling Sakura out of bed they had breakfast and were now sitting in the lobby having some tea. Sakura was yet to see Sasuke as she was informed that he was in a meeting by Tenten because Neiji was in the same meeting.

"Are you alright I heard about what happened, that your father tortured you" Tenten said.

"Yeah…h-he is so obsessed with killing demons that he was willing to torture me for information about the kingdom and he Uchihas" Sakura replied ashamed of her father.

"Well at least you are alright thanks to Sasuke getting you out of there" Tenten said.

Sakua blushed "Y-yeah"

"Oh my goodness your blushing" Tenten stated seeing Sakuras cheeks go pink.

"what no I'm not" Sakura said her hand going to her cheeks.

"Did something happen between you and Sasuke when he rescued you?" Tenten asked

"No...not when he rescued me" Sakura said remembering the kisses they had before had left to defend the villages and blushed even more if it were possible.

"So something happened before then, what tell me what happened?" Tenten said staring at Sakura

"it's nothing beside it was only one time" Sakura said hoping Tenten would let it go

"This is Sasuke just the fact that anything happened is huge" Tenten said.

Suddenly Sakuras mother appeared in the lounge

"oh Sakura this is where your hiding" She said before noticing Tenten. "oh hello"

"Mom this is Tenten" Sakura said. "Tenten this is my mother"

"Wow I can see where you got you pink hair Sakura, it's nice to meet you your highness" Tenten said and bowed her head slightly

"Please Mebuki is fine" Sakura mother said.

"I was thinking of going into town The queen has offered to show me around town would you girls like to join us" Sakuras mother asked

"That sounds great" TenTen replied

Suddenly Sakura heard Sasuke's raised voice from around the corner.

"Mother what are you thinking taking them the into town"

"Sasuke it will be fine" She reassured him

"Maybe for yourself or for the queen but not for Sakura she needs protection" he replied

"Sasuke" His mother said

"Don't take her" He said

Sasuke!" His mother said sternly looking at him and then behind him to where Sakura and tenten stood. Sasuke turned around and saw Sakura standing there.

"So I'm just a weak angel to you" Sakura said glaring at him.

"Sakura I" Sakura turned around and ran upstairs to her room

"Smooth Uchiha" Tenten said

Sasuke brushed passed her and upstairs to Sakura's room

"Sakura" he knocked before opening the door.

"go away" Sakura said throwing a pink pillow at him which he caught with ease and tossing it into the corner.

"I'm trying to protect you" he said and sat down on the bed next to her.

"why are you so against me going into town?" Sakura asked.

"because it can be dangerous for an unclaimed women" Sasuke informed her.

"Sasuke I can handle being hit on"

"when male demons see an unclaimed women weather she be an angel or a demon they will do whatever it takes until they have her" Sasuke replied

"Sasuke-kun I'm not going to run off with some demon I don't even know" She said

"They can manipulate you, deceive you, and use tricks whatever it takes to have you" Sasuke tried to reason. After a moment of silence, he continued.

"I didn't rescue you to have you taken from me" Sakura's eyes widened and she looked at him

Sasuke took a piece of hair that fell in front of her face and placed it behind her ear. Sasuke tilted his head to the side and began closing the distance between them about to kiss her rose colored lips.

"Sakura we need to get going" Sakura mother said walking into the room. Her eyes widened seeing how close Sasuke was to her daughter. Sasuke withdrew and whispered.

"until your claimed you're not going into town without me" he said. A small smile appeared on her face.

"So come with us" Sakura said thinking of a solution.

"I can't today I have a meeting in the afternoon" He said before standing up from the bed and making his way out of the room and passed Sakura's mother you eyed him suspiciously.

"I'm sorry mother I won't be able to come with you today." Sakura said

"What are you talking about?" her mother asked.

"No she's right, Sasuke reminded me of the danger it is for a unclaimed women to be around town" Mikoto said who appeared in the doorway.

"What danger? she will be with us what could possible happen" Sakuras mother asked.

"This is one of the things that are different here. The male demons don't exactly walk away when a unclaimed women turns them down they will then proceed to using tricks and manipulation to get what they want."

The rest of the day went by smoothly until dinner while they were all eating.

"My lord an urgent message" a servant said handing the king a piece of paper. His eyes skimmed the paper his eyes narrowing.

"My king?"

"Heaven has attacked one of the outside villages he sent out double the amount of forces it was a massacre." The king replied.

"Did we not have men stationed there" itachi asked

"We did but not as many as it has been quiet lately" Sasuke replied

"We need to stop him for massacring our people, Itachi, Sasuke get some rest tonight we leave at sunrise" The king said before leaving the room.

After dinner Sakuras mother went to go speak with the king in his office

"Your highness may I have a word?"

"you may" he motion to the chair in front of his desk

"I would like to come with you, perhaps I can reason with the king"

"What makes you think you can reason with him, your daughter tried to did she not"

"Yes but I have to at least try, I'm the queen of that kingdom this fighting needs to end our kingdoms can't keep killing each other."

"I agree but how are you going to make that happen your king does not want peace her wants the annihilation of all demons so that angels can then live in peace and I won't let that happen"

"And I don't what it to happen either. I must speak with him and try and convince him of a treaty." Sakura mother said determined.

"Your mind is made up I see"

"It is"

"You do realize your risking your life" The king said

"I do, but if it means my death at least I tried everything I could and tried to protect my daughter for the monster her father has become" Sakuras mother said

"very well"

"Your highness I'd ask you of one thing, please do not let Sakura know of this"

"It is not my place to inform her" The king replied and Sakura's mother nodded before leaving the room.

Sakura's mother looked down at her daughters sleeping form. How could she wake her and tell her that she was leaving. Sakura would try and stop her and she would only see the look or hurt on her daughters face. So she took on last look at her before placing a letter on her daughter bedside table and leaving the room silently. After closing the door and turning around she found Sasuke leaning on his bedroom door.

"Oh goodness you scared me"

"Your leaving with us I see" Sasuke stated

"It hurts me to leave her but I have to try and reason with him. I am the queen of the kingdom I can't abandon my people I have to and at least try."

"hn"

"I know you care for her, please take care of her when you return" Sasuke eyes widened and he blush slightly.

"Aa" Sasuke said not looking at the queen

Sakura woke up the next morning only to find a letter on her bedside table.

Sakura, My beautiful Daughter,

I'm sure that you are most upset and angry with me for leaving you, I thought of waking you to say goodbye but it was just too painful for me. I could imagine the look on your face and I know you would beg me to stay and I would have given in.

But I can't stay I have do something, I have to at least try and reason with your father. I must stand up to him as you did and be brave even if it is the last thing I do.

If I never see you again I want you to know Sakura that I am so proud of you and I know that you will be okay you are brave and strong and I can tell that Sasuke cares for you. Do not mourn over me too long, I want you to be happy Sakura. I will always love you.

Tears were flowing from her eyes down her cheeks and onto the letter. 'mother..' she lay back down onto the bed hugging a pillow to her chest letting the tears fall.

Sakura could not stop crying he mother was gone most likely killed by the hands of her father. She had spent the whole morning upstairs in her room crying. Mikoto was aware of the situation having seen them all off. She knew Sakura would need some time to be alone. It wasn't until noon that Mikoto climbed the stairs to Sakura's room. She opened her door to find her curled up in bed hugging a pillow crying her eyes out. Mikoto sat down on the bed next to her and rubbed her back as the young women cried. "s-shes gone..she didn't even say good bye"

"I know, I'm sorry" She whispered. Eventually her eyes began dropping and threatening to close.

"Sleep Sakura you've exhausted yourself" She said before taking the red blanket that was on the end of the bed and placing it over her. Mikoto watched her until sleep consumed her and her breathing evened.

"Sasuke my son you better come back to this girl" she thought and took one last look at her before she left the room closing the door behind her.

The Demon king and his sons along with Sakuras mother and their army rode until they reached their destination. The king had a pretty good idea which town Sakura's father would attack next and he was right. They arrived just before Sakura's father got there. The demon army had made a border around the entrance of the town blocking the angels from attacking innocent people.

"Come to try and stop me from annihilating your kind I see" before Sasuke's father could answer however Sakura's mother spoke.

"yes we have" She stood in front of her king

"Well if it isn't my queen" Sakura's father dismounted and approached her "brave coming here and facing me don't you think; some might even say stupid" he continued glaring down at her. Sakura's mother stood her ground.

"I had no choice" She replied

"so where is my so called daughter?" He asked but no one answered. "if she's not here then she must be at the palace after all it was the princes who took my girls from my kingdom. But it won't matter I will kill her in good time" Sasuke hand gripped on his sword.

"My king this war must end, the fighting must stop, leave these people in peace is there nothing that will make you end this" Sakura's mother pleaded.

He smirked and stabbed Sakura's mother in the chest "The only way the fighting will end is when they are all dead including you my dear queen" It happened so fast that no had could even move a foot towards them.

"Sasuke, take care of her" the queen managed to choke out and the king pulled his sword out of his queen and let her body fell to the ground life leaving her. The Uchihas stood there not showing any emotion because that is how they were trained to act in war. Sakuras father gave the signal to attack and the two army's clashed metal banging against each other and blood staining the ground.

Sasukes father engaged Sakura's father their swords banging against each other.

"We finally meet demon king, are you ready for death"

"I won't be dyeing here today" As their fight dragged on Sakura's father was beginning to show signs of fatigue and Sasuke father took advantage of that fact by faking a shot to the left only to switch and cut Sakura's fathers right hand off Fugaku pulled him by his shirt and stabbing him into the chest.

"I lost how could I loose" Sakura father managed to say before Fugaku let go of him letting him fall to the ground and allowing the king to bleed to death. Ones angles began to realise there king was dead they retreated back in the direction of their kingdom and Fugaku allowed them to do so.

"Father are you alright?" Itachi asked

"a few wounds here and there I'll make it back" he replied "where's your brother?"

"I saw him heading into the village his left arm got banged up pretty good I imagine he is looking for medical attention" Itachi informed his father

"Let's follow his example"

Weeks passed before there was any news of the king and his sons. Mikoto received word one morning that they would be arriving that afternoon. Sakura and Mikoto waited patiently on the steps of the palace. Sakura was extremely nervous not knowing what condition they would be in and if her mother was with them.

Sakura saw four horses galloping towards her and Mikoto. It wasn't until they got closer that Sakura noticed the absence of her mother making Her heart sink. As the men dismounted she noticed that Sasuke's arm was wrapped in a sling.

When Sasuke reached her and saw the look of sadness on her face he couldn't form any words only her name slipped from his lips

"Sakura…" She looked up and him for a moment and then at his arm.

"Does it hurt" She asked. Sasuke eyes widened. "hn."

Mikoto greeted her husband giving him a kiss welcoming him home before turning to Itachi giving him a hug. They made their way into the palace and Sasuke put his good arm around Sakura's back and guided her into the palace as well.

The next day Sasuke managed to get Sakura out of bed offering to take her on a tour of the gardens. Sakura was trying her hardest to be strong she knew that her mother would not want her to lay in bed another day moping so when Sasuke offer to show her the palace gardens she kindly accepted letting him pull her out of her room and into the fresh air.

Sasuke didn't say much he let Sakura explore the gardens on her own while he silently followed behind her with his arm still in its sling. She would occasionally crouch down to get a better look before continuing through the gardens.

"How are you feeling?" Sasuke suddenly asked her gabbing her arm with his good one making her stop in her tracks.

"I'd rather not talk about it, I need to move on she wouldn't want me to stop being happy because of..." Sakura trailed off.

"I agree" Sasuke said and let go of her arm.

"Sasuke why is it whenever you touch me my skin feels like it's on fire?" Sakura asked

"Don't worry about it" 'I can't tell her it would only freak her out' he thought to himself

"Please Sasuke I want to know" Sakura said standing closer to him.

"not now Sakura perhaps I will tell you another time" 'she would never accept it, if I were to tell her she's my mate'

Frustrated with the fact that Sasuke wouldn't tell her she decided that afternoon to talk with Mikoto to see if maybe she knew the answer to her question. "Mikoto can I ask you something" Sakura said joining the women in the lounge who was having a cup of tea.

"Sure Sakura anything" Sakura sat down on the love seat next to Mikoto.

"well I can't help but notice that when Sasuke touches me it leaves my skin feeling like it's on fire" Sakura said

Mikoto's eyes suddenly widened "Sakura are you sure?" Mikoto asked

"yes its only with Sasuke, when other demons touch me they either burn me or I feel nothing at all like with you and Tenten" Sakura said

A smile spread onto Mikotos face 'she's his mate'

"Sakura I think it would be best for Sasuke to answer this question" She told the young women.

"I asked him he wouldn't tell me"

"I understand, but it really should be Sasuke to tell you give him time and ask him again later I'm sure he will tell you" Mikoto replied.

That night Mikoto went up to her son's chambers to pay him a visit.

"Mother, what are you doing here?"

"I wanted to speak with you" She said joining him on his balcony. "When were you planning on telling me you found your mate" Sasuke's eyes widened slightly

"what are you talking about I haven't" He replied

"Sasuke, Sakura asked me today why her skin feels like it's on fire when you touch her" Sasuke blushed

"What did you tell her?" Sasuke asked

"I told her she had to ask you" She replied

"hn"

"are you going to tell her?" Mikoto asked

"what's the point she's an angel, if I told her it would only scare her. Angels don't love demons"

"That's not true Sasuke, look at Naruto's parents" She said

"She's the angel princess what are the chances of her loving a demon" Sasuke said

"You won't know until you tell her, she may surprize you" Mikoto replied.

The next morning Mikoto walked into Sakura's bedroom and pulled open the curtains and waking the sleeping princess.

"Come on Sakura wake up need your help with some things today before the party"

"huh what party?"

"Sakura is Sasuke's birthday"

"Really?"

"Yes we have a whole hall to decorate and we need to find you a dress for tonight"

"How many people are coming?" Sakura asked remembering the parties her mother used to throw in her honor.

"oh I am sure we will be receiving many" Mikoto replied

After breakfast Sakura and Mikoto spent the afternoon hard at work decorating the hall only taking a break to have lunch before they went back to work. Sasuke had been walking all over the palace trying to find the pink haired girl. He had decided that morning that he needed to tell Sakura that she is his mate. He needed to stop imagining the scenario in his mind of what were to happen if he told her and the only way he could do that would be to just tell her. however, he had not been able to find the pink haired girl. Passing by his brother in the hall he stopped to ask "Have you seen Sakura today Itachi"

"Aa. she is in the hall with mother helping her decorate for your party"

"hn"

Sasuke decided to make his way towards the hall.

"There all done, i think we did a great job Sakura" Mikoto said admiring there work. Small round table were all around the room with blood red table clothes on top with black chairs and gold chandeliers hung from the ceiling light up the room in candlelight. A section of the hall was left bare for dancing and a long buffet table was a the back where all the food and drinks would be placed by the cooks.

"oh boy look at the time we need to start getting ready. Sakura head on up to your room there should be a dress on the bed for you after you are done your shower.

"Ok thank you Mikoto" Sakura said and left the room. Mikoto Gathered up a few things that they didn't use from one of the table getting ready to leave when Sasuke walked in.

"Sasuke what are you doing here" She said finding her youngest had entered the room.

"Where's Sakura? Itachi said she was here"

"Oh you just missed her I sent her upstairs to get ready for the party"

"Damn it" Sasuke said running a hand through his hair

"Why are you looking for her?"

".."

"could it be you're finally going to tell her?"

"Aa."

"Why don't you wait till tonight and tell he then"

"hn" Sasuke turned around and began walking out of the room

"Don't be late Sasuke" His mother yelled before he was out of sight and smiled to herself.

An hour later Sakura had finished her shower and had finished styling her hair. She left her hair down in natural waves and pined two sections of her hair to the back of her head so her face was not hidden. She dropped the towel she had on and proceeded to pull on a black bra and panties. She approached the bed to look at the dress that was placed on the bed for her. It was a V-neck style dress in a blood red color with black see through lace on top in the front. The dress tide behind her neck that would leave her back exposed. She pulled on the dress and tied it behind her neck. It fit her nicely hugging her curves and showing some cleavage. She put on the black heals that were left with the dress. She took one look at herself in the mirror satisfied with how she looked she made her way downstairs to the hall.

As Sakura approached the hall doors she saw Tenten standing with her mate Neiji She wore a yellow V-neck style dress that went passed her knee. Neiji said something to her and she turned around smiling at Sakura. She ran over to the girl "Wow Sakura you look amazing;you look like a demon dressed like that, I wonder what Uchiha will do when he sees you in that dress"

Sakura blushed "Thank you? I think? but Sasuke is a Demon and an emotional ice cube I doubt he'll even look at me"

"Well come on let's go in, I've been waiting for you and I for one am a little hungry I hope there is food." Tenten said pulling Sakura into the room.

When they walked in Mikoto greeted them at the door. "Oh Sakura I knew that dress would be just perfect for you"

"Thank you Mikoto"

"Is Uchiha here?" Neiji asked her

"yes I am afraid he was snatch up by the young women the minute he got her though I'm afraid." Mikoto said.

"I'm sure he loved that" Neiji said sarcastically

"let's get something to eat until he is free" Tenten said and they made their way to the buffet table. After everyone was done eating Tenten pulled Neiji onto the dance floor. Even Naruto who had joined them had left in search of a dance partner leaving Sakura all alone. She was not having a good time watching women after women throw themselves at Sasuke making him dance with them. It shouldn't bother her but it did seeing them blush and having his arms on them. Jealousy was not something she had never experienced and what right did she have to be jealous not like he was her mate or anything the only thing that ever happened between them was a kiss and she had no idea if it even meant anything to him. She decided to get up and leave the party deciding that she didn't want to watch anymore and heading towards the exit

"Hey Sakura where you going" Tenten said.

"I'm going to head to bed" Sakura replied

"What why?" Tenten asked her

"I just can't be here anymore" Sakura said looking over Tentens shoulder at Sasuke who just finished dancing with a girl. Tenten turned around flowing her gaze.

"Oh my goodness, you like him you've finally admitted it to yourself" Tenten said whipping her head back around to face Sakura.

"Only its making me miserable" Sakura confessed after her blush subsided.

"Come with me" Tenten said grabbing Sakuras hand.

"wha Tenten"

"Trust me on this okay, it's time to make Uchiha jealous" She said pulling Sakura along to wherever she was going.

"you're going to dance with the demon that is the biggest player here one look at you and he will want to dance with you and will make Uchiha jealous"

"Tenten I don't know if this is a good idea" Sakura said. They stopped suddenly and Sakura pumped into Tenten's back slightly.

"Hey Deidara, have you met Sakura" A blonde haired demon turned around and looked at Sakura. His blue eyes scanned her from head to toe a smile appearing on his lips. "I don't believe I have I would have remembered meeting an angel as sexy her"

Sakura blushed "Come let's dance" he pulled her close to him wrapping an arm around her waist. Sakura was caught off guard and she fell into his chest feeling his muscles underneath. The minute he touched her, her skin it felt like it was burning.

Sasuke managed to get away from all the women for a bit saying that he needed a break. The minute he walked into the hall they were asking him for a dance when all he wanted was to dance with Sakura who he was yet to find.

"Hello Sasuke enjoying your party" Itachi asked his brother.

"hn"

"Have you talked with Sakura tonight" He asked

"no I have not been able to find her" Sasuke replied

"you sure you're not avoiding-"

"no I plan to tell her" Sasuke interrupted him. Itachi turned around to get himself a drink when he saw Sakura dancing with Deidara. Sasuke was not going to be happy.

"Brother?"

"Aa what?" Sasuke said and turned in the same direction as his brother only to find Sakura in the hands of Deidara. Sasuke stormed off in the direction. Itachi smirked.

Sakura was extremely uncomfortable Deidara was burning her skin causing her pain but she didn't tell him afraid to offend him and he kept his hands on her a bit too low for her liking.

"Excuse me deidara I'd like get myself a drink" She said so that she could get away from him Deidara watched her leave not taking is eyes off her ass

"Stay away from her" a smooth voice came om behind him.

"well if it isn't the birthday boy, sorry but not all the women in this room are yours" Deidara said to Sasuke

"I could care less about the women who chase after me but I won't have you touching my mate again" Sasuke informed him

"wait that sweet ass is yours?" Sasuke glared at Deidara

"Alright, Alright I know better than to get on a Uchiha's bad side"

Sasuke walked off in the direction he saw Sakura take off in and found her having a glass of punch and talking with Naruto. She was breathtaking, He approached her from behind placing a hand on her bare back getting her attention.

"Sasuke-kun, Happy Birthday" She said

"Sakura I'd like it if you would dance with me" Sakura nodded and placed her glass of punch down on the table. Sasuke grasped her hand and pulled her into the middle of the room were other couples danced.

"are you sure your able? your arm must still be a bit sore"

"I'm fine" Sasuke replied.

Sakura wrapped her arms around his neck and he put his around her waist enjoying the feeling.

"even after dancing with all the women?" She teased

"that was not by choice trust me, being a prince I have to keep up appearances sometimes and dance with daughters of important demons" He informed her. Sakura couldn't help but smile hearing him say he didn't want to dance with the women who had thrown themselves at him.

"so then why me?" She asked

"stop being annoying Sakura" Sasuke said. When the song ended Sasuke let go of Sakura and said. "Follow me" unaware of two men that had been watching their interaction.

"Kabuto it's time for the Uchiha to fall" he whispered to another demon that was close by.

The two made their way out of the hall unaware of the eyes that had been watching there every move

Sakura followed Sasuke out into the gardens to an area a little more secluded than the rest of the gardens.

Sasuke approached Sakura until their bodies were almost touching. He took her hand that was at her side holding her hand in both of his "What do you feel when I touch you?" Sasuke asked

"Heat, extreme heat almost like fire" Sakura replied

"And this only happens when it's me right"

"Others either burn me or I feel nothing" Sakura answered wondering what he was getting at.

"Sakura it means were mates" Sasuke said watching her for her reaction. Sakuras eyes widened shocked.

"b-but I'm an angel how" Sakura asked

"it's happened before with Naruto's parents" Sasuke informed her

"so what does this mean then for us?" Sakura asked

"I will give you all the time you need but I would later claim you but not until were ready." Sasuke said

Sakura's heart was screaming at her to tell him she wanted to be his but her brain was uncertain what if he didn't love her? Are demons even able to love?

"What if I refuse?" Sakura asked

Sasuke smirked "It won't come to that, one way or another I will make you fall for me" Sasuke whispered in her hear before walking away from the blushing girl.

That night Sakura lay in bed just staring up at her celling thinking about what Sasuke had told her. 'I'm his mate'

FLASHBACK

Sakura couldn't help but blush thinking of the memory. She turned over onto her side closing her eyes hoping to sleep but just couldn't. She was confused not knowing what to do. She knew deep down in her heart she liked the you Uchiha prince even though her mind was refusing to admit it telling her she shouldn't. She knew she need to decide if she should trust her heart or her brain before she falls in love with him and it's too late. Eventually her mind got quiet and she was able to get some sleep.

Sasuke was woken up to knocking on his bedroom door. He pulled on a pair of sweaters over his boxers and made his way over to the door. When he opened the door a servant greeted him.

"My lord the king has requested your presence in his office."

"Hn" Sasuke closed the door and pulled on shirt before making his way downstairs to his father's office. When he walked in his father was chatting with his advisor Orochimaru.

Sasuke" His father said motioning for him to have a seat

"Father" Sasuke said and sat down beside Orochimaru in one the the chairs

"We need to talk"

"What is this about father" Sasuke asked.

"Sakura has been through a lot recently and I don't wish to cause her anymore despair but with the death of both her parents and Sakura being the only heir to the throne of heaven, her absence has caused the kingdom to fall into a state of madness. Factions are forming, fighting over throne with the absence of a ruler." Sasuke father said.

"Are you asking me to tell her to return to heaven? If there are factions fighting over the throne I don't see it being safe for her to return. I don't see them just suddenly bowing down to her because she returned if anything they will try and kill her and what if she doesn't want to return." Sasuke said annoyed that his father you make him do such a thing.

"I agree with you but something must be done to stop a faction from taking over the kingdom, if we wait too long they could gain control of the angel army and we could have another war on our hands" Sasukes father replied

"Aa"

"Your Uncle will be here in a few days, we will discuss what has to be done in the meantime try and find a way to deliver this information to Sakura"

"Aa."

Meanwhile Sakura was in the gardens with Tenten who kept pestering her about Sasuke when she didn't really want to talk about him because she was trying to protect her heart and was confused.

"Come on Sakura please, tell me what happened between you and Sasuke I saw him drag you off to the gardens last night"

"Tenten I really don't want to talk about this I'm still confused about what he told me"

"Oh come on if you tell me maybe I can help" Tenten said poking sakura in the arm. Sakura took a deep breath and turned to tenten

"Fine. Last night Sasuke told me that were mates"

"WHAT!"

"Ow Tenten did you have to yell I'm right here"

"Sorry, but that is not what I expected, but why are you confused about that"

"Because I'm an angel"

"I don't understand your going to have to give me more hen that"

"Tenten my whole life living in heaving I've been told the rules when it comes to demons and I've broken many of them since ive been here. I've never liked the rules because the basically tell us to alienate Demons and I've always found that to be wrong. Over there they think Demons are monsters but growing up I never thought that I thought that you were just different and when I came here was when I learned that I was right. That I could friend and trust a demon"

"Well I'm gald that you broke those rules because there stupid and I'm happy you're my friend Sakura but this doesn't explain the Sasuke dilemma" Tenten said

"There is one rule I'm scared to break because if I do there is no going back" Sakura said

"What is it?"

"Never fall in love with a demon because if you do your heart belong to them forever there is no getting it back"

"Do you not trust him Sakura?"

"I do but what if I'm making a mistake and learn that I shouldn't have trusted him the end"

"Sakura, I can tell you I've known Sasuke for a long time and he is a very loyal friend ask Naruto. Sasuke insults Naruto all the time but if anyone else does that person better run. He will be loyal to you Mikoto has raised Sasuke to be an honorable man that any women would be lucky to have and your that lucky women. "Tenten said. Sakura blushed

"so you think I can trust him?" Sakura asked

"I do, but you need to make this decision yourself. Spend time with the man and he will show you that you can trust him if you give your heart to him." TenTen said. Sakura pulled her into a hug

"Thank you tenten" Tenten was surprised and wrapped her arms around the girl.

"That's what friends are for" Tenten said smiling and the pulled apart. "So when did you first feel it?"

"Huh? Feel what" Sakura asked

"The heat the fire you know what I'm talking about" Tenten replied

"Oh, on the day of peace when he danced with me" Sakura replied

They heard footsteps approaching and the turns there head to see Sasuke walking towards them.

"Sakura"

"Hi Sasuke"

"I'll leave you two alone" Tenten said getting to her feet and dusting off her dress leaving the gardens.

Sasuke took a seat beside Sakura. Sakura faced him waiting for him to say something.

"Sasuke is everything ok?"

"There is something I need to tell you, and you're not going to like it"

"What is it?"

"Sakura your Kingdom it's a mess" Sasuke said

"That place is not my kingdom"

"Sakura weather you want it to be or not you are the heir to the kingdom of heaven-

"No I'm not! My father disowned me remember or did you forget that fact! Do you not remember me being in a cell bleeding from torcher"

"Of course not! But that's irrelevant Sakura listen to me, there are factions forming in your kingdom fighting each other in hopes to become the new rulers. If it keeps up another war could begin"

"I don't care about a new ruler but we can't let another war happen"

"And we won't, we need to come up with a plan to put an end to the factions. My uncle is on his way here he should be here by tomorrow and my family will come up with a plan. Then you need to announce that you are standing down from the throne and choose a new queen if that is still what you want"

"Sasuke I was not happy there and never will be I want to stay here with you"

Sasuke pulled her the back of her head and kissed her lips. He deepened the kiss pushing his body against Sakura enough to force the rest of her body on to the grass and slipping his tongue passed her lips and into the mouth.

"you're going to wish you never said that" Sasuke said after he pulled away

"why"

"because now I'll never let you out of this kingdom"

Unknown to both of them was a demon hidden behind a tree nearby the demon pushed his glasses back up the ridge of his nose and vanished.

Over the next few days Sasuke spent all his free time by Sakuras side. He always walked her to her room before she went to bed at night and during the day they would take walks together around the garden when Sasuke could find the time and wasn't in meetings and Sakura would sometimes surprise him and watch him train with Naruto.

Sasuke's uncle was due to arrive any minute and they all stood outside waiting for him.

"Sasuke do not leave Sakura side while Madara is here understood" Fugaku told his youngest son

"Yes father" Sasuke replied. Sakura looked at Sasuke confused.

"I won't let any harm come to you, Madara he has a strong hatred towards angels and he is sure to bring along others who share his views" Sasuke informed her.

Madara and a few other demons approached the palace steps on horses. They dismounted and slowly approached the Uchiha's.

"Fugaku"

"Madara"

"Mikoto you look lovely as always" Madara greeted

"Thank you Madara, please lets- "Madara held up his hand in front of her face silencing her Fugaku was not pleased and he showed it by glaring at Madara who turned towards Sasuke and Sakura's direction.

Sasuke was ready if he tried anything and Sakura was frozen with fear. She swallowed hard when he moved towards her.

"What is an angel doing in hell?" He asked

"She is here because- "

"I believe I asked the angel" Madara said cutting off Sasukes mother

Sakura looked at Sasuke for a moment before turning her attention back to Madara 'do I tell him me and Sasuke are mates? what if shouldn't tell him'

"If you don't say anything ill cut your tongue out and then you'll never say anything again" Madara spat making Sakura flinch.

Sasuke moved so fast Sakura didn't even have a chance to open her mouth. Sasuke had a small blade held against Madaras neck and Saukes eyes had turned red with his black comas spinning. Madaras men were about ready to charge Sasuke but Madara held up his hand to stop them "Touch her and ill end you"

"If you harm her in anyway Madara, I cannot stop my son form killing you, for she is to be his mate" Fugaku informed him.

"And your allowing this? She's an angel, Uchihas are pure blood we don't mate with angels" Madara said

"You know we don't choose our mates Madara" Fugaku replied

"hn. Then perhaps your son should not take a mate I am sure there are many demon women that would spread their legs for him" Sasukes blade pressed further into Madara's neck cutting him slightly letting blood escape

"step away now Madara because I'm about to cut you throat open" Sasuke said

"hmph" Madara stepped away from sasuke and sakura but glaring at Sakura as he did so. Sasuke lowered his blade and putting it back in place.

"fine if she is to be his mate then why has she not been changed?" Madara asked

"No" Sasuke replied extremely quickly and his red eyes glared even more at Madara

'changed? What does that mean' Sakura thought?

"you've raised a weakling Fugaku, that mate of yours has made you docile and has caused you to raise a weakling. I knew something wasn't right about her I bet Itachi is the same" Madara said before he turned to itachi, "I bet you approve of this match as well don't you?"

"You already know the answer" itachi replied

"Madara I thought you knew better than to insult an Uchiha's mate, do you have a death wish? I should kill you right here but I'm going to pretend to like you because we have matters to discuss now get inside" Fugaku said having heard enough. The two brothers glared at each other and they walked inside

Mikoto took a few steps towards Sasuke and Sakura "Sasuke you have business to take care of, I'll watch over Sakura for the afternoon you can relax" She told him placing an arm around the back of Sakura's shoulders.

Sasuke nodded at his mother and followed his brother into the palace.

"Are you alright?" Mikoto asked Sakura

"I'm not sure" Sakura replied.

"Come let's have so tea in the gardens and chat" Mikoto said

It took them about five minutes to reach the gardens and they sat down at a small table with two trees near by providing some shade. When the tea arrived Mikoto poured them each a glass. Sakura took hold of the handle on her glass to bring it to her lips but her hand couldn't stop shaking.

"Oh dear your shaken up" Mikoto said. Sakura put her cup back down on the able and gave Mikoto a week smile. "Sakura you can trust me no harm will come to you I won't allow it and neither will Sasuke"

"I know" Sakura replied.

"Sakura don't listen to Madara, he is nothing but a monster."

"I've never seen Sasuke act like that before, he looked like he was going to kill his own Uncle" Sakura said.

Mikoto smiled "if it had been anyone else they would be dead right now, you don't threaten an Uchiha's mate and get to walk away" Mikoto said. Sakura's eyes widened. "You've never seen Sasuke kill before have you?"

Sakura shook her head. "When I was in heaven I heard stories of the Uchiha brothers, how they were the strongest demons and no angel ever wanted to encounter them on the battlefield, the name was feared. The only time I saw him almost kill was when I was taken away from your kingdom by the angel, Sasuke almost killed him but I never saw him as angry as I just did"

"I think he has tried to holding back his demon side from you slightly but when you were threatened he snapped and lost all the control" Mikoto said before taking a sip of her tea.

"He shouldn't have hold back because of me; I don't want to do that to him it isn't fair!" Sakura bust out.

Mikoto smiled "he's just trying to be better for you, now come we need to go find you a dress for tonight"

"Tonight?" Sakura asked.

"For the party tonight, the war has ended Sakura but business still must be discussed regarding heaven and what to do about it" Mikoto said

"As much as I hate to say it but Shouldn't I be the one to figure that out" Sakura said

"No darling being Sasuke's mate he will handle that for you now, all you have to do is take care of him" Mikoto said

"really?"

Mikoto smiled and they went back into the palace and into the lounge while they waited for the dress maker to arrive.

A short woman with grey hair was escorted by a servant into the lounge about a half hour later. "sorry to keep you waiting your highness" The women said

"Hello Ami, Sakura needs a dress for an event at the kingdom" Mikoto informed the women

"Very well, is there a style that you like?" Ami asked Sakura

"I like knee length and something that doesn't obstruct my wings" Sakura replied

"So bare back and knee length, I have many options" The lady showed Sakura a catalogue with dresses in the style Sakura mentioned.

"This one is rather popular" The lady pointed to a dress that had slits up the thighs and tied behind the neck and shows off a lot of cleavage and leaves the back exposed.

"I don't know I feel like it's a bit too revealing" Sakura replied

"I agree" the queen added who was sitting next to Sakura looking at the catalogue with Sakura.

"I like this one" Sakura said pointing to a flowy dress with no straps so her back would be exposed. Sakura could see herself spinning around in it, the dress would not be revelling and would make her look cute. Sakura smiled

"I think this one is more you Sakura" Mikoto replied

"Fantastic I will just need to take your measurements" the lady said and she took out a measuring tape and place a stool in front of Sakura to stand on. The women checked Sakuras waist, hip, chest and height. "Alright now I just need you to choose a color"

"Oh um..." Saskura said thinking

"How about Midnight blue" Mikoto said. Sakura nodded "It's also Sasuke's favorite color and it will be a great color for you with your hair Sakura" Sakura blushed.

"I will make sure the dress is delivered in a few hours" The women informed them packing up her things and a servant escorted the women out.

Night came rather quickly and Sakura was putting on her dress. She was happy with her choice and Mikoto was right the Midnight blue looked great on her. Sakura styled her hair by curling the ends and puting on a pair of black heals. Sakura hoped she would be able to see Sasuke for she had not seen him since this morning and she was secretly missing his company.

She made it downstairs to the hall and there was already a lot of people there, she felt a little nervous being in a room full of demons. 'relax Sakura you've been in a room with them before, like on the day of peace' she told herself

"Sakura!" Nauto's voice called from her right she turned to look at him and was surprised to see him so well dressed.

"Hello Naruto, you look good" Sakura greeted

"Thanks Sakura, you look amazing just don't tell Sasuke I told you I don't want to die yet." Sakura laughed

"So I take it you know about us" Sakura said

"Yeah, but it was kind obvious, Sasukes never paid attention to women before so I kind put the two together" Naruto replied rubbing the back of his neck

"Have you seen Sasuke?" Sakura asked

"No sorry but it's kind of hard to spot anyone here" Naruto said

"I can see that"

Sasuke was utterly bored with this conversation between his father, brother and Uncle they couldn't seem to agree on anything it was like Madara was arguing about everything possible. He turned his head for a moment. Only to see Sakura walking into the room. And she looked amazing, it took everything in him not to head towards her and do inappropriate things. He saw Naruto head over to her and he turned his attention back to his father knowing that Sakura would be okay with Naruto until he could get away from the business talk.

"Those angels got what they deserved attacking us all these years, now their kingdom is in shambles all due to the absence of a brat" Madara spat

"No its not great factions are forming and if we let the situation go on too long it could mean another war we don't want another angel king like that last one who wanted nothing but our death" Fukagu replied

"Who cares will just kill them again if another war happens" Madara said

"This war started before my sons were even born they don't even know anything else it has been there whole life. I for one am getting tired of it, I don't want to wake up one day and loose them to another war." Fugaku replied

"There Uchihas they are the best fighters in the kingdom they won't die"

"That doesn't mean that we want to fight, we do it because we have to and because we are loyal to our kingdom, our home" Sasuke said

"Madara we must come up with a way for peace" Itachi said

"Peace are you crazy? Are you suggesting we should live with the angels they are weak and too good" Madara replied

"No I am not suggesting with live together I don't think that could ever work with so much anger and death between us. But perhaps a treaty between our kingdoms" Itachi replied

"why don't we just go in there and finish the rest of them off"Madara suggested

"Madara your hopeless" Fugaku replied

"And your weak" Madara countered "go ahead and negotiated for a treaty but I will not take part in it, you may just find me as your enemy instead Fugaku, I'm leaving" Madara replied walking out of the room.

"Madara!" Fugaku called but Madara ignored him.

It was passed 2:00 Am when Sakura finally was heading upstairs to her quarters. Where she reached her Quarters she found Sasuke leaning against her door.

"Oh sasuke what are you doing here, I thought you were still downstairs" She opened her door and Sasuke silently walked in the room passed Sakura she closed the door before she tuned to face him.

"Sasuke is everything ok?"

"Fine" he replied. Sakura reached out and touched his arm making her hand burned.

"Ah" Sakura's eyes widened 'this isn't Sasuke' Sakura went to back away from the imposter but the imposter grabbed her preventing her from moving. "Who are you, you're not Sasuke" the imposter smirked and chanted something Sakura did not understand and everything went dark.

Meanwhile

Sasuke was looking around the room but could not find Sakura. He headed over to Naruto who he spotted nearby "Naruto where is Sakura"

"Oh man you just missed her, she said she was tired so she left" Naruto replied. Sasuke swiftly walked out of the room in hopes to catch Sakura before she fell asleep. Sasuke reached her door and went to knock on her door when his hand came in contact with the door he was thrown back into a wall. Someone had cast a spell preventing anyone from getting into the room. Sasuke hands covered in fire and he shot it towards the door in hopes to break the barrier. The two powers fought together but the fire took over breaking the spell. Sasuke opened the door and found Sakura in the hands of someone who had disguised themselves to look like him.

"So it seems you were able to break my barrier" The demon said and his glamour disappeared to reveal Kabuto.

"Kabuto, let her go if you know what's good for you" Sasuke ordered

"I'm afraid I can't do that, Orochimaru needs your princess for his plan to succeed. If you want her, you'll have to find us" Kabuto said. Sasuke was thrown into a wall and hit his head making him black out.

"I think he's coming to" Sasuke heard his mother's voice

"urg" Sasuke voiced and clutched his head before opening his eyes. He saw his mother and brother crouched in front of him. He looked at them for a moment before it all came back to him. His eyes widened.

"Sakura! Where's Sakura?" He said quickly getting to his feet a little too fast and Itachi had to grab him and steady him.

"Whoa easy there Sasuke, what happened?" Itachi asked

"Kabuto, he took Sakura." his mother gasped

"What could kabuto possible want with Sakura" itachi asked

"He said Orochimaru wanted her" Sasuke replied

"but that would mean" Mikoto began

"he's betrayed us; he must have been plotting this" Itachi said

"we have to inform your father, come." Mikoto said

When Sakura woke up. She was in an unknown location. Looking around she could only confirm that she was in some kind of cellar. Her arms were chained to the wall and there were snakes all around the floor.

"Ah so I see my guest has awakened" Came a voice from the shadows. He walked closer to her and Sakura gasped recognizing the man as none other than Orochimaru.

"Orochimaruo, where am I and why did you bring me here?"

"Lots of questions" He said and bent down in front of her. "This is my lair, and Kabuto brought you here because you are bate for the Uchihas, you mean a lot to the young prince, so when he will come and so will his family"

"What do you want with Sasuke-kun" Sakura asked

"So it seems he means a lot to you as well if you're calling him Sasuke-kun, The demon kingdom needs a new ruler fugaku is too soft. The angel race needs to be extinguished they are too week to exist. I want to kill the uchiha's and be the new ruler" Orochimaru smirked

"You're the one that is going to die"

"HAHAHAHA"

"It's a shame that you're an angel that such beauty is wasted on you, if only Sasuke had changed you into a dark Angel maybe you would have been able to defend yourself and you wouldn't be chained to this wall, no what am I saying not even then. Maybe I'll change you myself make you my queen when I rule the kingdom" he said running his hand from her jaw to her chin.

Suddenly the sound of a sword was heard and Orochimaru felt a blade against his neck.

"Your faster than I expected prince" Orochimaru said smirking

"Sasuke-kun" Sakura said shocked

"Get your hands off her and step away" Orochimaru stood up while Sasuke kept his blade against his neck.

"where is your family" Orochimaru asked

"They let me go ahead while they dealt with your men" Orochimaru smirked

"Sasuke he just wanted to lure you here he is trying to take over your kingdom he wants to kill your family" Sakura informed him.

"He will be the one to die here, he will find out what it means to cross an Uchiha" Sasuke swiped the blade across orochimaruo's neck. But it only turned out to be a clone and turned into a log.

"Damnit" Sasukes eyes turned red searching the area for Orochimaru but he didn't see him anywhere.

Sasuke turned around and cut the chains that were holding Sakura's hands to the wall with his Katana. "Are you alright?" Sasuke asked her scanning her over for any injuries.

"I'm okay" Sakura replied

"He's most likely gone after my family come on" Sasuke grabbed her hand and pulled her up running into another room.

When they got to the room Orochimaru was fighting his father, his brother was fighting Kabuto and his mother was fighting any demons that tried to interfere with the fight.

"Sasuke, Sakura! Thank goods you are alright"

"Mother protect her for me" She nodded and Sasuke took off to go help his brother"

"Get behind me Sakura" Mikoto told the girl

"She did what the women asked feeling useless. Suddenly then was a scream in pain. Sakura looked up to see that orochimaru had stabbed fugaku. Orochimaru Yanked the sword out of the king and kicked him into the wall near Sakura. "NO!" Mikoto yelled seeing her mate get stabbed and thrown into the wall. Sakura took off towards the king. She may not be able to fight but she could help by healing the king.

"Sakura get back here!" Mikoto yelled. The demon she was fighting took the advantage of here being distracted kicking her in the stomach and she flew into the wall hitting her head knocked out.

"Sakura! No!" Sasuke yelled leaving his brother running towards her but orochimaru was there first. He pulled her by her hair "you will not interfere" He went to stab her but Sasuke pushed Sakura out of the way and tackled Orochimaru down to the ground.

"Enough of this" Orochimaru said and bit into Sasuke's neck "AHHH!" His neck burned and black marks made their way up Sasukes neck and were coving half his face.

"I will now have control over your body boy" Orochimaru said stepping away from him

"Sasuke-kun" Sakura whispered. She crawled over to him taking his hand into hers resting his head on her lap. Itachi quickly finished off Kabuto and faced Orochimaru. "You may have killed Kabuto but you've used to much of your power on him you won't be able to defeat me"

"We will see about that" Itachi said. He began making hand signs and fire came from his lungs up his throat and out his mouth at Orochimaru. Orochimaru dodged the attack running at Itachi. Their swords clashed each pushing against the other. Orochimaruo knocked Itachi's sword out of his hand and it landed on the other side of the room. Itachi glared at Orochimaru who simply smirked a him. Orochimaru kicked itachi and he flew into the wall. Sakura put Sasuke down and ran to Itachi. Sakura what are you doing stay beck. "Let me heal you"

Suddenly Sasuke stood up "is he okay now?" Sakura said

"don't fool yourself girl Sasuke is under my control now. Who should we start with, yes Sasuke Kill Itachi"

Sasuke sword suddenly filled with electricity and slowly walked towards Itachi and Sakura. "Sakura no matter what stay back." Mikito regained consciousness clutching her head and moaning suddenly she remember what had happened to Fugaku she crawled over to him. She put her head to his chest he was still alive and his pulse was still strong.

"Thank goodness"

"Sasuke it's me your brother stop this" Itachi said who had took hold of his sword once again and was avoiding Sasuke attacks.

"He can't hear you he can only hear my orders"

Sakura crawled over to Mikoto who beckoned her over. "Sakura what's going on what's wrong with Sasuke" She asked as Sakura healed the kings wounds.

"Orochimaru bit him and now he's under Orochimarus control"

"He cursed my son"

"There's got to be a way to get him to stop"

"I can't let him kill is own brother" Suddenly Sakura took off towards Sasuke stepping in front of Itachi

"Sakura get back here"

Sasuke halted his movements "Move" He said but Sakura stood her ground

"Sasuke please it's me Sakura, this is your family you don't want to hurt them" She pleaded

"Sasuke, turn her" Orochimarus voice said

"Sakura get away from him now!" Itachi yelled but it was too late Sasuke had dropped his sword and grabbed her "Sasuke I love you" Sakura said as Sasuke drug his claws into her back and bit into her neck the minute the words left her mouth the pain began. Sakura screamed clutching onto the only thing nearby Sasuke.

"I love you Sasuke" the minute the words reached his ears the curse broke. His eyes went back to their onyx black and his claws were deactivating.

"what no that's not possible" Orochimaru said

"AHHH!" Her scream brought him back to his senses.

"Sakura? No.. "

"AHHH" Blood was pooling around her and her grip loosened on him until she began to fall. He caught her before she hit the ground and lay he down gently his mother ran over to him "Sasuke take care of orochimaru I've got her" His mother said who ran over to them

Sasuke turned around with the most deadly look that would make anyone run for their life

"How on earth did you break the curse, it should not be possible"

"your going to die for fucking with me, my family, and Sakura"

Sasuke yanked his sword from his back and charged at orochimaru. Orochimaru shot snakes at Sasuke. Sasuke cut them in half sending the remains to his feet. Sasuke moved so fast he pined orochimau to the wall with his swordthough his sholder. "Your much stonger then I remember my student"

"Time for you to die" Sasuke made a bunch of hand signs and fire erupted from his mouth and burnt orochimaru to a crisp.

"Ahhh!"

"Sasuke!"

Her scream pulled him back to the matter at hand and he ran over to his mother. There was so much blood and Sakura's angel wings were turning into black ones.

"god what have I done" Sasuke said placing her head on his lap

"Ahhh" Sakura screamed again but this time the pain was too much and she passed out

"no…no…no please no mother please tell me there is a way to stop this, I don't want this for her, she my angel mother" he said seeing the white of her wings slowly turning black

"There is a way, but you will have to make a sacrifice" Mikoto told him looking at the pain in the girls face.

"tell me" Sasuke replied not taking his eyes off Sakura.

"you could never see her again, and she would never love again once you love a demon your heart is trapped" Mikoto explained

"how could I do that to her, no I can't live without her" Sasuke replied

"then you have to let the change happen" Mikoto told him

"What would you do?" Sasuke looked up at his mother and asked

"I would let the change happen, if you were to never see her again it would destroy you, maybe It's the demon in me that is being selfish but I don't want that for you my son. she loves you Sasuke, she will forgive you." She replied

Sasuke picked her up in his arms "forgive me Sakura" he whispered into her ear hoping that when she woke she would understand.

Sasuke never left his chambers the entire night once they returned to the palace and lay Sakura on his bed. He just Sat in the chair and listened to her screams. Sometimes he would pace the room and through a punch into the wall angry. But he would then return to her side and hold her hand. Trying to ease her pain. He was so angry for not protecting her for allow this to happen. His mother came in at one point at 3 in the morning trying to get him to at least eat something. For he had gone 20 hours with not even a glass of water. "Sasuke you need to eat something"

"No, not till she wakes up" Sasuke replied

"Sasuke she might not wake until tomorrow night. The change is a long processes" She told him

"Come on itachi will watch her in the mean time" Sasuke let his mother drag him towards the kitchen passing itachi in the doorway to his him. Nothing needed to be said and itachi took a seat where Sasuke had been. Letting Sasuke know she was well looked after.

Sasuke really did not want to eat but his stomach was betraying him and he managed to eat the plate of spaghetti, a piece of bread and some water that his mother had placed in front of him. Once finished his mother offered him a pill.

"Take this so you can sleep, you will need your rest and regain your strength we will wake you if she wakes. Use one of the guest rooms"

Sasuke took the pill from her and took a sip of his water washing down the pill before exiting the room. He only just made it to the bed when he began to feel the effects of the pill take over and his eyes close.

Mikoto made her way back to Sakura and itachi "How is she"

"Her screams have stopped, but she is still in pain, how's Sasuke?"

"I got him to take a sleeping pill so he can get some rest, im surprised he didn't fight me one it" She replied

"Good, he needs rest, Sakura would want him to" Itachi replied

"Why don't you go get some sleep as well Itachi"

"No I'm fine, go rest mother" Itachi replied

The next morning around 8:00 AM Mikoto took Itachi's place so he could go get some rest. It was around 10:00 AM when she noticed Sakuras fever seemed to have broken and the color was returning to her face. Meaning she would wake up soon and she was right an hour later the pink haired girl began to still and call for Sasuke.

"Sas..uke" Mikot quickly Dashed out of the room to find her son. She ran down the hall and cashed right into Sasuke. He grabbed onto his mother so she didn't fall. "Oh Sasuke, shes beginning to stir she calling for you"

Sasuke didn't wait he took off down the hall to his quarters. He entered the room and sat down on the chair beside the bed. She looked a lot better, her color had returned and there was no long any sweat on her forehead.

"Sasu..ke"

"Sakura" he grabbed her hand and her eyes slowly began to open. "Sasuke"

She began to sit up slowly. "easy" Sasuke said as he help her sit up. "thank you"

"how are you feeling Sakura?" Mikoto asked her

"my back really hurts" Sakura replied looking at Sasukes mother

"That's to be accepted with the change"

"Change?" Sakura asked confused looking between the queen and Sasuke

"Sakura.." Sasuke began not making eye contact "I'm sorry"

"Sorry for what?" Sakura asked still confused

"I couldn't…you're.."Sasuke began unable to get the words out

"Sakura what is the last thing you remember" Mikoto asked her

"I remember..Orochimaru kidnaped me and you guys came to rescue me, but then he did something to Sasuke and it was like Orochimaru was controlling him because he was going to kill all of us and I knew Sasuke would never do that so I tried to stop him make him see that it was his family and me and …I don't remember anything else"

"Mother can you give us a minute"

"Sure" Mikoto left the room leaving Sasuke and Sakura alone.

"Sakura when Orochimaru was cursed me, I had no control over my body, he order me to kill my family you stepped in and tried to stop me. It was then that Orochimaru ordered me to..to..

"to what Sasuke?"

"to turn you into a dark angel" Sakura gasped

"I couldn't stop my body even though I was screaming at myself not to it wasn't until you said you loved me, that I regained control over my body but I had already stabbed you with my claws and bit you." Sakura reached up to her neck finding the punctures. I killed orochimaru as my mother watched over you. I could have turned you back into a pure angel but I would have never been able to see you again and you would never been able to love again. I never wanted you to become a dark angel but I was selfish, I didn't want to live without you, so I let the change happen, I'm sorry Sakura please forgive me." Sasuke reached out to ouch her hand but Sakura withdrew her hand.

"I'm a dark angel now" Sakura asked him.

"Aa." Tears filled up her eyes. How could she have been so stupid falling in love with a demon. How could she forget that when you fall in love with a demon your heart becomes his forever and not only that she was now a dark angel that meant she could never return home. She would have to live out the rest of her life in the demon kingdom.

"Sakura" Sasuke said after a moment of silence

"I need to be alone" Sakura said. Sasukes eyes widened. "Aa." he got up and approached the door before leaving her he saw tears fall down her cheeks and off her chin. He wanted nothing more than to hold her comfort her and tell her he loved her, but she hated him now. He left the room to the training grounds where he would punch the tree over and over until his hands began to bleed.

"Brother"

Sasuke withdrew his hand from the tree and turned his head to face Itachi.

"What do you want"

"I thought I would find you here"

"hn"

"I take it things didn't go so well"

"She hates me and probably will never forgive me"

"Did she say that"

"She didn't have to, her tears said enough"

"I don't think she hates you, she may just need time this is a huge adjustment for her"

"I wouldn't forgive me, I'm a demon who has taken everything away from her, She can never return home, I own her heart, and she's now a dark angel because I couldn't protect her from myself."

"She loves you?" Itachi asked shocked

"Aa. Or at least she did" Sasuke said sitting down twirling a knife in his hand.

"Were demons Sasuke it's in our nature to be selfish, The fact that you are feeling this way shows how much she has affected you"

Mikoto who was standing just outside heard the whole conversation between her sons and made her way upstairs to visit the pink haired women.

Knock knock

"Sakura, can I come in"

"Yes come in"

"Made you something to eat you have not come downstairs all day" The queen said placing a tray of food on the desk.

"I'm not really hungry"

Sakura said who stood by the window looking outside. She still wore her dress from the night before there was dry blood still on her back and some on the bed sheets.

"Sakura what is wrong you havnt cleaned up or gotten dressed"

"…"

"Please talk to me"

"I've always been told never to fall in love with a demon because they then own your heart forever. But I was blind I didn't even notice myself falling in love with him I just did, and now I'm a dank angel and I can never return home, I feel like I don't know who I am anymore"

Mikoto smiled at the girl

"Your Sakura a beautiful women who fell in love with my son, that's hasn't changed you still have your heart. Love isn't black and white Sakura it just grabs hold of you one day, I don't think Sasuke planned to fall in love with you either and I can tell you that your heart is very safe with him"

Sakuras eyes widened with shock "He doesn't"

"yes he does, I know my son, I've seen the way he looks at you, how he protects you, and how possessive he is of you. He may be a demon but he has a good heart and he will take care of yours if you let him" Sakura blushed

"Sasuke regrets so much what has happened, He never wanted you to become a Dark Angel he wanted to keep you his angel" Mikoto continued

"he doesn't need to be forgiven this wasn't his fault I know that but I don't know what it means to be a dark angel" Sakura replied

"don't you worry about that we will help you adapt and I hope that one day you will feel that this kingdom is your home." Mikoto told the girl

"Thank you Mikoto"

"why don't you go take a shower get dressed and come down stairs for something to eat" Sakura nodded

After her shower Sakura pulled on her black lacy bra and panties before pulling on a midnight blue knee length sweetheart dress. Once dressed she dried her hair and made her way down stairs.

Sakura found Mikoto in the lounge with sandwiches, crackers, cheese, and tea.

"You look lovely Sakura, you feel better?"

"much thank you again"

"My pleasure"

"Sakura had just finished her sandwich and was taking a sip of her tea when Sasuke walked into the room with itachi and sugetsu.

"Whos this beautiful young lady?" Sugetsu said and stoped to stare at Sakura. "She looked up hearing a voice to see a stranger and Sasuke and itachi in the room. "sugetsu this is Sakura"

"oh and not claimed I see"

"Its nice to meet you meet you"

"sugetsu" Sasuke warned not liking the way he was looking at Sakura. Not that he could blame him she looked really beautiful today. Especially in that dress but he didnt like that fact that other men were sure to notice her nice legs and exposed cleavage.

Sakura turned her head to Sasuke wanting nothing more then to run into his arms. "Why don't I escort you out" Itachi said to sugetsu. "why I want to get o know the hot girl"

"shes already spoken for" Itachi informed him as he tried to get him out of the room

"By who I'll kill the bastard"

Sasuke approached Sakura and pulled her waist to him. "Sasuke I" He didn't let her finishing and he smashed his lips against hers in a possessive kiss. Sugutitsus mouth fell open

"No way, she's your bothers girl"

"Yeah so unless you want to die I'd move your ass out of the room"

Sakura wrapped her arms around Sasuke's neck deepening the kiss. Mikoto couldn't help but smile at her son and made her exit leaving the two alone.

"Sakura, please forgive me" Sasuke said when they pulled away

"There is nothing to forgive Sasuke, I know it wasn't your fault, I was just lost and confused earlier your mother helped me"

"Is that so. Then I owe her my gratitude"

"I don't approve of this dress your wearing" Sasuke told her

"whats wrong with it"

"It attracts men to your body"

"Well your just going to have to deal with it because I like it"

"well your going to have to deal with me ripping It of you later then" Sakura's face turned red with the memory of what had almost happened last time.

Flash back

Sasuke was fumbling with her bra when suddenly he could sense someone outside his door. He quickly flipped there position and covered her with a blanket before there was a knock on the door. He yanked the door open and glared down at the soldier the stood in front of his door.

"Forgive me my lord but the king wishes to see you" He said before looking at the princess who lay in his bed. Sasuke followed his gaze only to realize the man was staring Sakura he blocked the mans view and glared down at him "Something else"

"N-no my lord" he bowed and walked away from the door.

End flashback

"ahem" Itachi fake cofhed

Sasuke glared at his brother while still holding Sakura legs over his waist.

"Really brother, I leave for two minutes and your already jumping the princess right here in the lounge."

Sasuke released her leg and backed away from Sakura while she smoothed out her dress.

"I'll see you tonight at dinner" Sasuke said before walking away with his brother

"Nice legs Sakura" Itachi said before making his way out of the room with Sasuke. Sakura blushed and Sasuke punched his brother in the rips. "Ahh" Itachi Sasuke told him "Stop gawking at her" and they left the room.

About five minutes later Mikoto entered the room seeing Sakura by herself "Sasuke had to go I see"

Sakura nodded her head "Did you work things out?" Mikoto asked her

Sakura smiled "We did"

"Would you like to come with me into town?" Mikoto asked her

"You mean I would get to see the kingdom?"

"Well obviously not all of it but you would get to see the small town outside the palace"

"Ive never been outside the palace"
