Aqua – In the Darkness
Why did everything fade away into nothingness in the darkness?
For her who'd been raised her entire life in the light, it was a frightening place. Her keyblade was gone. The armour that would have protected her from such a place was gone. Her friends were gone – Ventus, and Terra – and the wayfinder she'd made with her own hands and her memories were the only connections she still had with them…
No, that wasn't right. She still had her heart as well. Those invisible bonds that would remain connected no matter where they were, or in what state. Terra, swept up by Xehanort's possession. Ventus, sleeping in the Chamber of Awakening without his heart.
And she, wandering around blindly in this darkness, clutching those things because that was all she had left that made her who she was.
And if she forgot, she'd become like this darkness as well. Nothing.
