Tak stared at the many pictures scattered across her screens, all of them memories of her time on Earth.

Tak especially lingered on the pictures of Zim- the reason for her misery. But as she stared at that picture she didn't feel hate.

She typed in the co-ordinates. It was time to go back to Earth at last.

"Computer! What time is it on Earth, near where we had our base?"
"Around 1:15 in the morning, Tak."

Zim sat in his living room, alone. GIR had gone off somewhere- Irk knows where- and now the little Irken sat on his couch drinking Diet Poop. But he wasn't watching TV, he was studying the wall.
Another shot of whiskey can't stop looking at the door…
The wall was solid, but you could still see a slight seam where Tak had blown out a large portion of it. It had taken him over a month to fully repair it. A MONTH!
Wishing you'd come sweeping in the way you did before…
"Tak…" He muttered silently, zoning out a bit. Where was she? What was she doing now? Well, probably floating through space, unless her ship was fixed.
Wait- Why was he thinking about her? This was the first time she had even crossed his mind since she had come. But why? And I wonder if I ever cross your mind For me it happens all the time…

Zim perked up suddenly, hearing something outside. "Eh? A spaceship? Here?" He got up and started towards the door. But before he got there, it opened itself to reveal Tak standing there, Mimi beside her.
"T- Tak!" He stuttered.

"Hello, Zim. She said, walking in and shutting the door. "No, don't worry. I'm not here to kill you."
"You… aren't?" He looked at her strangely. "What do you want then?"

"I… I want to apologize to you. For trying to kill you."

Tak looked confused at her own words, but just let them come. "I also wanted to let you know… You deserve this planet. You have managed to escape detection, even with your awful disguise. I guess I underestimated you."
"Thank you, I guess." Zim smiled slightly. "But, I would like to tell you something as well."
"What?"

"Well…" It was his turn to look nervous. "I… I kinda missed you, Tak. Even though you were trying to kill me and all."
"Really?"

"Yes." He stepped towards her and reached out, lightly touching her arm with his hand.
