This is my first Fanfic so its not that good I made it up inclass when my teacher was talking like she does everytday! So reveiw and give me advice I could use it!

It was raining as I drove down the highway. My hands wouldn't stop shacking! He promised he wouldn't do this again, he said he had taken a new lead, but no he just couldn't resist the thrill. I should've just left him when I had the chance, but even if I new something like this was going to happen I still wouldn't have.
Then all the sudden a cry woke me out of my trance. I parked the car and looked in the back seat. There in the car seat was a little girl with black hair, blue eyes, and light freckles across her checks. I calmed her down and started driving again. He just had to, I told him not to but he did it anyways! He got drunk and then instead of being a person with some sense he tries to drive home. Now his life is on the line, and even if he does survive I will kill him myself, but what if he does die! "Shut up Courtney you don't car." What am I saying of coarse I do. I love him!
We finally pulled up to the hospital, so I parked the car and got out Gracie. Then I walked inside and asked the nurse at the front desk for his room number. She said he was in surgery, and if I waited I could see him afterwards.
Many thoughts passed through my head as I waited in the cold empty space, until the nurse finally let me see him. Gracie was already a sleep again so I wrapped her in a blanket and laid her on a chair in his room. He was just lying on his bed asleep. On the way there the nurse told me his condition. He has a broken arm, leg, and two broken ribs and one punctured his lung. He also has a slight concussion and might be out for a couple days. Luckily for him no one else was hurt in the wreck, or anything. Plus all he should get for the DUI is probation, and community service.
Suddenly Gracie started crying again, she must be worried about him too. I picked her up and she still wouldn't be quiet. Then out of the blue she looked down at the bed that Duncan laid and said her very first word. "Daddy" I was in shock then I saw a smile appear across his face, and he woke up! Duncan woke up! "There you are, my two favorite girls." He said with a smirk on his face. All I could do was cry and hug him.
For some reason, even though he had put me through so much I knew everything would be just fine.
