A/N:
Hi! Teen Wolf ended and I'm left in anguish with fan fiction as my only salvation so I thought I'd jump on the train and write a good ole Sterek- or eheh, maybe Sterek, fic. you'll see ;)
This is a Stiles as Spiderman fan fiction, and this most likely won't be Stydia or Stalia apart from maybe a close friendship? so if it's not your cup of tea then you're more than welcome to turn around by clicking the little back button in the corner.
ANYWAY.
With the out of the way, I hope those of you who do stick around enjoy my writing and that I capture the characters ok.. I'm no Jeff Davis. Things you should know before jumping into he story:
-Stiles has not grown up in Beacon Hills therefore knows none of the other characters.
-Beacon Hills is a city because... Spiderman needs a city.
-this takes place around season 3 with the alpha pack and whatnot.
-the sheriff probably isn't Stiles dad in this. Sorry :(
-Kinda follows what's canon in the show but with Stiles as Spiderman so I'm gonna change how he reacts to situations. Basically it's what happens in canon with my control over Stiles.
Hand in my hand and you promised to never let go
we're walking the tightrope
high in the sky
we can see the whole world down below
we're walking the tightrope
Never sure, will you catch me if I should fall?
~Tightrope~
Prologue
Derek held his position, helpless, kneeling on his hands and knees with a pipe going through his abdomen that was held in place by Kali. Cora was on the other side of the room, Ennis holding her down, a large hand engulfing her entire head. His blood boiled. He wanted to tear that man apart for daring to touch his sister. But he couldn't do anything. He was stuck on the ground, incapable of moving at risk of his own life.
There was no doubt that this had been coming, the Alpha Pack had been a threat for a while now. But he never expected them to attack out of the blue like this. Scott, Isaac, Boyd and peter weren't here to help which left him defenseless bar Cora.
He heard tapping on the ground behind him, hairs sticking up on the back on his neck as he realized it was Deucalion, who made his entrance into the apartment "everybody done? Cause just listening to that was exhausting." He said, coming to a stop in front of Derek and folding up his stick. "So, let's chat. I asked Kali to be gentle but…"
Kali sneered and twisted the thin metal pipe "this is me being gentle"
Derek wheezed, blood running down the pole and pooling underneath him "let her go." He ordered, though it came out as more of a plea. Deucalion gestured absently to Ennis who released Cora. His sister was up on her feet immediately and rushing over, but he shook his head at her and breathed out a pained "no."
"see? We're not unreasonable."
"What do you want? Why do you want to kill me?" Derek asked.
Deucalion's eyebrows furrowed "you really think I'm that boring? Don't throw me in with sociopaths like your uncle. I'm a man with far more vision than simple murder. In fact, I'm here to show you how much vision a blind man can have" he explained, taking off his glasses; revealing glowing, red, clouded eyes.
Derek started hacking up blood which he spat to the floor, Cora became more agitated and took a bold step forward "your killing him!"
Kali smirked, holding a finger up to halt Cora "not yet, little sister. But I could. Who knows if it's five minutes or five hours before it's too take this thing out? But just to be on the safe side, duke you might want to get to the point."
Deucalion rubbed his hands together thoughtfully "well, you see one problem with being in an alpha pack. Everybody wants to make decisions. Me? I'm more about discovering new talents; like you."
His blood was turning a thick, clumpy, black now "not interested."
"but you haven't even heard my pitch." Deucalion protested complacently.
"you want me to kill my own pack" Derek responded bitterly.
"no. I want you to kill one of them. Do that, and I won't have to ask you to kill the others. You'll do it on your own. I did it. Ennis did. Kali did. Tell him what it's like kali, to kill one of your own."
Kali hummed in satisfaction, recalling the action "liberating."
"Listen to her, Derek. Do you really want to stay beholden to a couple of maladjusted teenagers bound to become a liability? And believe me, they will become a liability. In fact, I have a feeling one of them is getting himself into trouble right now." He commented smugly, then stood up and began fiddling with his walking stick again. "See, the reason I'm always invested in new talent is simple. We all know a pack is strongest due to its individual parts. The stronger the individual part the greater the whole. When I lost my sight, one of my betas assumed I wasn't fit for my role anymore. He tried to take it from me. killing him taught me something about alphas I didn't know they could do. His power was added to mine. I became stronger, faster, more powerful than I'd ever been. I tested this new ability to subsume the power of your own by killing another one. In fact, I killed them all. I took the individual parts and became a greater individual whole. Now, I don't just want you to just join my pack Derek. I want something else from you."
Derek felt dizzy at this point "wha.. what?" he managed to get out through the pain striking through his abdomen.
Deucalion's mouth twisted into a smile "I want you to catch a spider for me. There is a boy, he goes by the name Spiderman, If I am correct. Tiresome boy I must say. We met him in New-York and tracked him here to Beacon Hills after he fled from us. See, you may be led to believe that I came here for you Derek, but as it happens you were just a… simple side project I've taken to enjoy."
"Do- Do it yourself."
Deucalion grimaced "if you value your lives you'll do as I ask. There has been much invested into the capture of this boy, a were-spider is a rare specimen to come across."
Cora growled "there is no such thing."
Kali smirked "that's where your wrong. You know nothing, i's almost pathetic."
Deucalion sighed and knelt by Derek, gliding a hand up his hair hen yanking his head upwards with it, using the other hand to trace the features of his face "you're right, Kali. He looks like his mother. You'll get to know me, Derek, like she did."
Derek stiffly lifted his gaze from his reflection in the pool of his own blood "I know you. I know what you are. You're a fanatic."
Deucalion paused where he'd been looking out the window with his back to them, putting his stick down on the table, the whole air in the room changing "know me? you've never seen anything like me. I am the alpha of alphas." He began, thunder cracking and lights flickering. "I am the apex of apex predators. I am death, destroyer of worlds! I am the demon wolf!" he screamed, thunder cracking wildly as he spoke, glasses cracking.
Everyone seemed to shrink back except Kali, who slid the pole out from Derek's abdomen, freeing him from the pain as it began to heal over very slowly.
Deucalion slowly took off his cracked glasses "I hate it when that happens." He commented and began walking out with Kali escorting him by the arm, not saying another word.
Derek fell limp to the side, Cora catching him as he passed out in his own blood.
