Alright, well this is a little oneshot that I thought up about when Archie and Atlanta's kids are going to start growing up, and how they will react...for some reason, I always imagine Archie as being the overprotective one...
The bright midday sun was shining down on a quiet street. Houses lined both sides of the road, though the street itself was quiet, with no cars passing by.
"I'm doing it daddy!" a little girl of seven cried, holding onto the handles of her red bicycle. A light blue helmet covered her long slightly spiky lilac hair.
A man, her father, was holding the bike behind her, running alongside it and supporting it.
The girl turned her head slightly, looking into her father's steely blue-grey eyes, the same shade as hers.
"Dad, let go!" she cried.
"Amber, are you sure?" Archie said, gazing at his daughter. Amber rolled her eyes, a trait she had inherited from her mother.
"Yes, dad, I'm ready!" she answered, looking intently at her father, a determined expression on her young features.
Archie starred at his firstborn daughter for a few more moments, before finally releasing his grip on the seat, letting the bike go.
Watching his little girl go, Archie felt a tug at his heart. His little baby girl was growing up faster than he wanted her to.
Feeling a hand on his shoulder, he turned around to face Atlanta. Her light green eyes were following the form of her daughter on her new bike, turning around her twin brother, his vivid red hair raised in a cowlick, like his father, his light green eyes glancing annoyingly at his sister.
Putting an arm over Atlanta's shoulders, Archie pulled her close, laying his hand on her bulging belly, containing yet another child.
"They are going to grow up, Arch..." Atlanta said, wincing as the child in her womb kicked out yet again.
"We'll have to let them go on their own some day...especially if they inherited out adventurous sides..." she continued, rubbing her stomach absentmindedly.
Archie nodded, still starring at his twins.
Amber had now gotten off her bike and was climbing a tree, her brother, Alex, not far behind.
"One day..." he said, a strange glint in his eyes.
"One day..."
