Wales didn't even know why he bothered going to the world meetings anymore. Besides his brothers, the only person he actually talked to was New Zealand, and all they ever talked about was sheep. Wales had tried to talk to America before, but became annoyed by the younger nation's personality quickly and just pretended that he didn't speak English.
This was the first time in years that he could actually attend the meeting (due to his stormy weather, he was usually ill). The actual meeting was already over, but due to extreme weather conditions nobody could leave.
Wales walked down the dark hallway (the power was out) to the kitchen. He bumped into a very America-looking country, knocking both of them down.
"I'm so sorry." Said the other nation. "Are you okay?"
"Mae'n ddrwg gennyf, nid wyf yn siarad Saesneg." Replied Wales before taking another look at the country in front of him. "Wait a minute, you're not that dumbass, narsisistic, loser that pisses off every other nation with half a brain."
Canada shook his head. "That's my brother. Everything you just said is true about him. I didn't know you spoke English."
Wales laughed. "Did you think I spoke crazy sheep language? Honestly, you've been listening to my brothers too much. Come on, lets sit down. I wanna talk to you."
The two nations sat down at the kitchen table, both tripping over their chair legs.
"Ya know, we're not that different at all." Said Wales. "We're both pretty shy, and with our brothers being so outgoing and all, we're usually forgotten. Everyone mistakes you for your bother, and everyone calls me red-headed England."
Canada nodded. "I've never fought in a war without America leading me through every step of the way, and you spend all of your time writing poetry and caring for sheep. We haven't done much as nations, so nobody pays any attention to us. Even some of the micronations have better governments than us. The only thing I'm happy about right now is that I don't feel so alone in all of this."
"Exactly." Replied Wales. "Whenever one of us feels forgotten, we just need to remember that the other one is going through the exact same thing. Maybe we're not such forgotten nations after all."
