"Shirley, would you be so kind as to pass me the pepper."
"Of course. JOHN! In here now! EMERGENCY. AGH! FIRE!" There was some loud clambering before a panicked John fell though the doorway.
"Sherlock! What is it?"
"Ah, John, would you please be so kind as to pass Loki the salt?" Loki smiled politely, and John just looked more confused than usual.
"You said fire. I thought there was something wrong."
"Yes young Watson out guest's supper is without proper seasoning, but you would not have come if not expecting adore serious emergency. Also, the good doctor that you are, I knew you would come rushing at the possibility of danger. Now if you'd be so kind as to pass Loki the salt."
"Why don't you do it?"
Sherlock took a deep sigh. "My dear Watson, as you no doubt can see, the salt is all the way over there."
"AND SO WAS I." John picked up the salt and set it down forcefully onto the table in front of Loki. "ANYTHING ELSE?" he asked, clearly rather annoyed at the situation.
"Actually, yes. I said pepper not salt." It was probably Loki's overly pleasant expression as he said these words that tipped Watson over the edge and forced him to leave, slamming the door behind him and then apologising to Mrs. Hudson for such a noise.
Loki sighed. "I only asked for the pepper."
"Quite my dear Loki. I have no idea what has gotten into John as of late, and usually I have more than an idea." Loki magically called the pepper to his hand and began to sprinkle it on to his plate of food.
"It is indeed a rare occurrence Mr. Holmes. Perhaps you are unwell?"
"Maybe you are correct Loki. Will you accompany me to my study after dinner?"
"I would be most honoured Mr. Holmes, most honoured."

"You are a marvelous man Mr. Holmes. With a truly magnificent mind. Most people see, but only very few truly observe. You, I believe, are one of those few."
"I pride myself in that fact Mr. Laugeyson. Are you am observer yourself? I have wondered. You have never truly expressed it, but you seem to read others so well."
"I have no need to observe Shirley. What with my magic and my skills f deception."
"And have you a high regard for society, social etiquette, morals, the law?"
"In truth I have very little respect for them Mr. Holmes. I am, however, aware of their presence, but regardless, I do as I please."
"I am excited to hear you say that Loki. It opens a word of opportunities for the two of us. The possibilities are almost endless."
"I regret I do not entirely understand what you are saying Mr. Holmes."
"I'm just saying we could have some fun." and Loki did little (in fact quite to opposite) in the way of protest when he felt hot lips against his.
