Kai woke with a sweat. He looked around. He was still in his bed, Sydney was still asleep beside him, and Nya wasn't in the hospital. He lay back down, thinking of all that had happened in the past few years. After they had defeated the overlord, and Garmadon had become good, they had met new ninjas, and they all had gotten married.
"Kai?" Sydney asked, sleepily. "What are you doing up?"
"Had a nightmare, that's all," Kai replied, not wanting her to worry.
"Okay," Sydney yawned. "But remember, as soon as you get the phone call, wake me up."
"Phone call?" Kai asked, blanking out.
"Yes! Nya's in the hospital, having her twins, remember? Jay's gonna call you when we have to go visit!" Sydney reminded him.
Kai frowned. So it wasn't a nightmare. Nya really was in the hospital. His phone rang, suddenly. He scrambled for it in the dark, nearly dropping it. "Hello?"
"Kai? Nya had twins! Get everyone to come over here, right now!" Jay's excited voice cried through the phone.
"Right, we'll be there as soon as we can," Kai said, and hung up. He turned to Sydney. "We gotta wake the others."
