I went back to the pond, today

The flowers there had bloomed

Yet you where no where

To be seen

A petal fell today

Yet I still sit here

Waiting for…

Someone who I can't

Remember

Why is it that I wait?

For someone

Who sits at the

Edge of my

Memories

Like a mist or

Something just out of reach

If you can hear me

Are you still waiting too

Or have you moved on

Have you found someone

New

Or have you withered

And died

Who were you?

What did you mean to me?

And why did you leave?
