Aria walked through the door leading into the bar, she was hungry, this was her first meal back in Rosewood since she had returned from Iceland. She liked Iceland, there was less drama than in Rosewood, she hadn't made many friends there, she kept to herself. All the drama with Allison and the other girls made her believe that it was better to keep herself to herself. Having been in Iceland for five years Aria had changed, she was more mature than a 21 year old should be. The next week Aria was beginning an English course at Hollis college, she would be older than the other students in her class, but as soon as her parents said they were returning to Rosewood she knew she wanted to start at Hollis. Aria's car had been playing up and she spent half an hour outside the bar trying to get it to start up again after it broke down just as she was reversing into the parking bay. She passed a good looking guy who walked out as she was walking in, he had dark hair, slightly curled and beautiful piercing eyes. He smiled at her as he continued out of the door. Aria sat down and ordered a cheeseburger and observed the bar around her, she had been here once before. Her Dad took her here when she found out about Meredith, he begged her not to tell her mother, Aria had since then avoided this bar. But since finding out Meredith was married and expecting her first child with a new man, Aria hadn't worried about her Dad cheating again.

It was Aria's first day at Hollis, she had been there a lot when she was younger, her Dad was a lecturer there so she and Mike, her brother knew their way around. Mike had got a lacrosse scholarship and moved a couple of hours away from Rosewood. She pulled on her vibrant purple top, leopard print cardigan and black skinny jeans, this was her most flattering outfit. The purple brought out her eyes and the jeans accentuated her figure. Aria had bought a small apartment near to Hollis, she walked into the kitchen and make herself a coffee. This was one of the only times Aria had been nervous, what if she wasn't good enough for the course? What if people didn't like her? What if the teacher didn't like her? She tried to stop thinking about it, finished her coffee, picked up her bag and strode out the door.

She was early to her class, she sat in the room where the class was held and took a seat near the front waiting for the other students to arrive. About ten minutes later groups of students filed in, they were a lot younger than Aria and she knew she was more mature than them, Iceland had changed her a lot. The students all seemed to know each other, or at least had things in common, Aria sat on her own. It didn't bother her, she liked her own company and didn't need other people around her all the time. She picked up a poetry book she had been reading flicked through the pages and focused on one of her favourites reading it to herself to calm her nerves. Out of the corner of her eye she could see someone walk through the door alone, she guessed it was the lecturer so she slipped the book back into her bag. She recognised him, he had dark hair, slightly curled and beautiful piercing eyes, it was the guy from the bar. He could tell she remembered him, he smiled at her slyly. Aria zoned out, she was focused on his face, it was beautiful, her eyes roamed his body, he had slightly muscular arms. "Ohhhh" Aria thought to herself as he turned around to write on the board, he was wearing suit trousers that fitted perfectly and his butt was perfect. He turned around looking straight at Aria, she pulled her gaze away but he could tell where she had been staring. She focussed her gaze on the blackboard, he had written his name. "Ezra Fitz."
