Bowser is seen sitting at his thrown as usual with Kamek standing next to him. This appeared to be any normal day for the king of koopas except for the fact that Wart and Smithy are standing in the room! The screen shows this brief shot, then goes to Mario and Luigi who are sitting around in the castle. Luigi is on the phone seeming pleased about something. He hangs up and turns to Mario.
Luigi: I've-a got-a good-a news. A man named Mr. Kemak called me and said his a-kingdom on the otherside of Plit-a needs a hero and I'm-a perfect for it-a!
