Pre-Face/ Short First Chapter
Everyone… running. A flash of light. Everyone ….now frozen. A voice, high-pinched with fear, sobs out the names of those she once knew. Then, from the hole blasted in the side of the building, dodging the boards frozen in midair, came a blonde boy, abnormal horns sticking out from just behind his ears, tiny rivers of blood streamed from his pale blue eyes. And then he began to ….. giggle? Yes… he was laughing! Laughing at others pain!
"I stopped it. I stopped the Noise! Ahh my head….. It feels soo much better now…." He said stretching while still chuckling. "But…." His voice suddenly became harsher, deeper, but now more scared. "Big sister? Please help me… You have to come! It hurts…. It hurts so much…. Please!" he shrieked in pain. Then… "Roseeette. Rosette…. Roseeeeeeeeeeeeete… Rosette! ROSETTE!"
Rosette sat up suddenly from her bed, and grabbed a shocked Chrono's shoulders, who had come into her room this morning and had been standing next to her and calling her name to try and wake her up.
"Rosette?" he asked, confused and bewildered.
"I had that dream again… with Joshua."
"The flashback?"
Rosette nodded then added: "but his voice changed in the middle, it was..... newer.....like he had grown up"
Chrono didnt know what to say to that or how to comfort Rosette, so he started to open his arms to hug her but then let them fall limply at his sides; she wouldn't want to hug him. who would want to hug a devil?
