Sometimes he wished Hannah never existed. That Miley never performed in the school talent show. That all the compliments she got from said talent show never gave her the courage to audition in front of real Hollywood producers. That she never became an instant teen celebrity. That she wasn't the girl every guy wants to date. That she isn't the girl every girl wants as their best friend.
Sometimes he wished only him and his dad knew about the whole Hannah thing. So that maybe in family reunions all the conversation wouldn't revolve around Hannah's new album, or Hannah's upcoming concert. That at Christmas he won't receive yet another last-minute $20 gift from Wal-Mart. Then have to watch Miley open an expensive thought felt present.
And sometimes he wishes that everybody, everybody being mostly his dad, would see that Hannah is a fake. That she is actually Miley Stewart. And she has a brother. And even though he is not as smart, as talented, or as funny, or as perfect as she is, that he still matters. That he still exists. That he shouldn't be pushed aside because he is still important.
