Nigel is an ordinary boy, he is thirteen, has short brown hair, and dark chocolate brown eyes. He is an active kid and a semi-gamer and isn't very popular. He loves to play Minecraft along with his best friend Gus (also not very popular). Gus is a mix of Mexican and Chinese. He is extremely active but is chubby. Gus has jet black hair and eyes. He loves football and plays Minecraft with Nigel on occasion. Their adventure starts one morning, seeming like any other.
"Nigel, get up!" said Gus.
"A few more minutes," yawned Nigel.
" Come on it's a beautiful summer day. The sun is out and there is slight pleasant breeze. Let's go."
"Alright, alright. I'm coming."
Nigel got dressed and met Gus out in his backyard. As they passed a football around, they discussed what they should do after morning. Soon it was midday, the sun was expectantly boiling hot. Nigel could feel his blood warming in his ear. The air started to get humid, it was like walking through a clump of slimy, squishy mucus. Gus and Nigel decided to go inside and play Minecraft. As they headed in, they saw Nigel's parents watching the news.
"Good afternoon Ma and Pops. How are you?" questioned Nigel.
"Very well, yours-," Nigel's dad abruptly stopped in mid question.
Nigel and Gus went into Nigel's room, placed their thumbs on their finger pads to access their computers. They launched Minecraft and joined the very first minecraft server. Nigel Checked who was online, there was Rose, Liz, Jon, and Jonah.
Rose was a thirteen year-old blonde girl with piercing blue eyes and a warming smile, she was also a very popular girl (Nigel secretly had a crush on her but never told anyone). She loved Minecraft but never told anyone about except her best friend Liz. Liz was also thirteen and had brown hair, milk chocolate brown eyes, and a hearty smile and very popular. She loved Minecraft when Rose first showed her it.
Jon is a four year-old (leap year baby) boy with dirty blonde hair, dark blue eyes and was a little overweight, but no one minded nor made fun of him for it. He was extremely active, he was always seen running 5k's and was on the track team. Jon loved Minecraft and was introduced to it from Nigel. Jonah is Jon's best friend, he has dark dirty blonde hair, dark blue eyes, and is shorter than everybody in the group.
Nigel, Gus, Rose, Liz, Jon, and Jonah were all a tight group of friends but never were seen in public together, less Rose and Liz were to be made a laughing stock. They all had finger pads on their computers because they didn't want anyone to know their secret. But anyyyway, back to why Nigel's dad stopped in mid question...,
"Hello, I'm Dan bringing you breaking news. A virus called Nemesis has infected our computers. People with finger scanners have been disappearing around the world and no one knows why or where. We strongly advise you not to use any electronics until things are settled. This has been Dan bringing you breaking news," said Dan the anchorman
Nigel's dad ran to Nigel's room, only to find it empty. There was no sign of any one in his room. Gus and Nigel were gone. Nigel's dad turned to walk out of the room when he saw Nigel and Gus coming from the master bedroom.
"Gus needed to clip his fin-," Nigel never finished the sentence before he Gus, Rose, Liz, Jon, and Jonah were zapped into the computer.
