Our First Valentine's Day

Summary: Valentine's Day for three pairs of people. Joe and Francoise are up first, for that traditional Valentine's Day flair.

How Joe and Francoise Celebrate Their First Valentine's Day

Joe and Francoise still weren't really together. However, they were attracted to each other. Which had led up to the incident they were now facing, Valentine's Day. Joe, in his usual way, had gone a very traditional route, a card and flowers. However, he hadn't gotten her red roses. He got Francoise her favorite flowers, pink tulips, carefully tied with a pink ribbon that had a little heart charm hanging from it.

Working with Chang and saving up had been worth it. The card was handmade, but that was what made it special. Joe hesitantly approached Francoise, before holding out the bouquet of tulips to her along with the card. "Happy Valentine's Day, Francoise," he greeted.

Francoise blushed. "Thank you, Joe," she responded, taking the flowers with one hand.

She smiled at Joe over the tops of the tulips, and then pulled out a small package from behind her back, holding it out to Joe. He blushed as well, and carefully opened it to reveal a small package of chocolates. He looked up as she answered his earlier sentiment. "Happy Valentine's Day to you too, Joe."

Joe smiled and responded, "Thank you, Francoise."

The romantic moment was ruined by G.B. suddenly interrupting. "Joe, you better be careful with those chocolates! You haven't eaten them yet and you're already breaking out!"

"G.B. you get away from them, or I'll fry you up as a very cheap dish!" Chang threatened.

Joe and Francoise stepped away from each other quickly, more red-faced then before. All in all, it was a half-success. They had at least partially admitted their feelings for each other.

Well, maybe on Christmas.
