We all know the drill…

I don't own Naruto, or any other stories I decide to throw in

Enjoy!

Crisp Morning Air

I walked out of the girls' bathroom. After two hours, I was refreshed. Nobody had reminded me about semester exams this morning. Most people know that it is not smart to drink a big gulp before midterms. But that was the past. I stepped out into the crisp morning air from the building to walk to second period. It was peaceful, the cool spring breeze blowing through the outdoor hallway tossing my short brown hair all around, the sun lightly touching my dark skin with dainty fingers of light, but something was wrong. Call it female intuition, but I knew that something about this peace was too perfect. Then it hit me, a solid thump against my extremely responsive head. My mind blanked out for several seconds. Was I dead? No, I was…just sleeping, falling into the open arms of darkness. It was serene. It was calm. It knew me. It knew what I so dearly wanted. It knew what I forever longed for, and for some reason I was ok with that. This moment gave me the breath of life, to understand the small bits of joy in living. I was Alive! The darkness was fading. A chilling laugh rang throughout my head. A sinister voice spoke with every word ripping into me.

"You ignorant little child, did you really believe you could escape me? You should have never erased me from your mind…"

"What…"

Light flooded in filling every corner of the space, giving way to colors and shapes. What was that? Did I pass out, or was it some other dimension?

A man's face formed out the mix of colors and shapes. It was average looking, yet like no face I've seen before. His gray hair and covered eye looked strangely familiar.

"No way…"

The man must have heard my whisper because he looked down at me.

"Oh, so you're awake"

Something was definitely wrong here. I must be hallucinating or something because what my mind was thinking could not be possible. I moved franticly around trying to view my surroundings. A sharp jab of pain rushed through my side.

"Hey, you shouldn't move, you've been hurt and any movement might make it worse."

This time it wasn't the man, but a pink-haired girl about my age.

"Where am I?" the pain increased quickly after I spoke.

"We're headed to..."

I blacked out before she could finish her sentence.

The harsh sterile smell of a hospital hit me hard. A voice sounded next to me.

"Man, what happened"

I turned my head to the source of the voice. It was my hyped up annoying best friend Felicia, or as I call her, Beats. That was a first. She was actually calm for once!

"Hey Beats, where are we?"

She gave me her "I can't believe you don't know!" look.

"Kohona"

Kohona?! There is no way this can be true! I've read several stories about situations like this, and Beat and I have talked about it, but I never believed it would actually happen. The door opened. The third hokage walked in along with Kakashi and Saukra.

"Well, it's a good thing Kakashi and Saukra found you when they did! So I'm guessing the mission didn't go as planned Akira and Kira?"

Beats and I looked at each other. Beats jumped up

"Mission?! What are you talking about?!"

Kakashi and Sakura exchanged looks. The Hokage was shocked.

"What do you mean?"

I sat up despite the sharp pain in my torso.

"Uh excuse me, but we've never been in this place let alone this world before. How could we been assigned a mission?"

The Hokage was livid.

"Kakashi, I believe they have suffered from some type of memory loss. I want you to help get their memories back, is that clear?"

Kakashi nodded and walked away. Beats was screaming out in pain. I can't belive this happened.

"What mess are we in?!"

Yup that's all for now I hope you enjoyed (somewhat) it. Not my best but I just had to write it.

Chilly apples and beans!
