It had been a long weekend. The one weekend there was no case and the team had off he had to go to a stupid conference in New York, per Strauss' orders. Hotch placed his key into the lock and opened the door. Everything was quiet, as expected since it was 11:30 pm Sunday night. He shut the door behind him and quietly walked upstairs and into their bedroom. It was empty. Hotch grew worried and dropped his go-bag, quickly making his way to Jack's room. Inside was the most adorable scene he's ever seen. For what he could tell, Reid and Jack built a fort using Jack's bunk bed, dresser, blankets, sheets, and just about anything else they could find. In the fort Reid was lying on the floor asleep with a sleeping Jack tucked under his arm. Hotch couldn't help but smile at the sight. He walked over and placed a kiss on Jack's forehead and Reid's cheek before quietly shutting the door on his two favorite boys.
