Chapter 1
I could not bear the look in her eyes .Yes, she was bewildered by the surroundings and the screaming let out by the other captives .Her chance to get tortured was nearing and then her innocent glisty eyes met mine .I had followed the same pair of eyes from London to L.A. cause that face had awakened those deeply buried sad memories , acknowledging which I had to know more about her .And now she lay in a bloody mess anticipated for her death .That look pleaded for help to me or probed for the answer if she would be tortured a lot before meeting her death by my vicious cruel species. I could not stand it anymore , without thinking for a moment also of the repercussions of my actions . I opened the prison cell lifted her in my arms , jumped out of the cave that was concealed by the canopy of thick rooted trees, to stand in face to face to sunlight .She was in my arms,her eyes perplexed and staring at me.i wanted to stoke her cheek and hair and tell her that she was safe and fine now,but i did not even have a second to waste,cause i knew if i was caught now then it would be the end not only for both of us, but for my entire family.I had to run as fast as i could and reach a secure abode .Getting off the island would take me 2 days,so i had to plan this escape very cleverly keeping her security in mind to. Many thoughts and things were running in my mind and the adrenaline rush was just inexplicable and wordless.I had almost crossed 15 kms in 20 mins,and i just took a second to peep down at her and oh! my holy god she had fainted.I slowed down my speed,found a well concealed bleak place and then put her down . There was a brook near by from which i fetched water and sprinkled it on her white pale face whose cheeks had lost that mellow scarlet colour . She fluttered her eyelids a many times,and her eyes just went too big when her vision gave into me leaning so close to her that our lips might have just brushed each others and that is when she tried to shriek and my super reflexes in an instant made my hand shut her mouth.I released it ,giving her a warning with my eyes of not repeating the same simply swallowed and whispered shakily"Wat are u gonna do to me?" "Are u gonna torture and kill me and feed on my blood in as disgusting way,as they did to the other people"she was almost sobbing now,.I cried out in an instant "No, i am saving u from those monsters and i would never imagine to do that to u!" i could say that she was more than shocked on looking at my expression and hearing the words that i had spoken,then more confusedly she mumbled "Why?".Well that question was not new to me cause when i had saved her the whole time i was torturing myself with the same question but i still had no reply. There was complete silence now except for the chirping of the continued to gaze at me and into my eyes.i got up and said"i will explain eyerything later,but now we gotta get moving if we don't wanna be fed to the hounds"the words striked her and she got up as fast as a bolt.
