Summary: Patamon feels he is getting replaced by Takeru. Takeru is to oblivious to notice this.
Third POV
There sat on a log in the digital world two digital monster talking about a certain child of hope.
" I never thought this would happen to me, I mean I have been with Takeru for much longer. Its just not fair. That Mon comes in stealing my partner, my Takeru." patamon said to Gatomon.
" Don't let it get you patamon, its just a phase he is going through." Gatamon said.
" How do you know for sure." patamon said with sadness.
" I don't know for sure but there are many things only you can do." Gatamon said trying to comfort her friend.
" But there is too many to compete with, I'm only one mon." patamon said.
"And besides they can do many things that I can't do." patamon said.
" Don't be like that just because they can do some interesting things doesn't mean your not needed by Takeru." Gatamon said.
" Are you serious? That puffball can do everything." patamon said.
(You can probably guess which monster I'm talking about.)
" Damn that Kuriboh, if only it didn't meet Takeru."
" Here, here little buddy." Gatamon said putting a paw on patamon back comfort.
" Maybe you should do something for Takeru to show your important." gatamon said.
" Like what?" patamon said.
" I know maybe you can ask Takeru to go to the beach. Both you love the beach." Gatamon said with inspiriation.
" I can't compete with Rainbow Kuriboh (Real card), it can turn into a boat (Kuri Boat XD Yugioh Wiki) and a bubble to go underwater( Yugioh Wiki)." patamon said.
" Cam't armadillomon turn into a submarine?" gatamon said
" Well maybe the small things will make his day. I put Kari phone to charge at night when Kari forgets." Gatamon said.
" I got that beat as well Kurivolt, is like a floating portable charger." patamon said.
" Well you could..." gatamon said interrupted by patamon.
" Look at Kuriphoton that mon has a flashlight on its butt!" patamon said not stopping.
" Look at winged Kuriboh and its amazing flute playing skills." patamon said (Reference to flute of summoning kuriboh)
" And Kuriboh can do shadow clone jutsu to help Takeru around the house while I'm only one mon. patamon said (Mutiply reference)
" And don't get me started on the newest member of the group." patamon said.
" I don't see anything special about that new one." Gatamon said.
" You don't have to live with them. Kuriball is the one Takeru always bring to basketball games incase the team doesn't have a ball. A portable ball for christ sake how do I compete with that!" patamon said in disbelief. (I know its harsh but it has ball in its name. xD)
" I think you forgetting someone!" gatamon said.
" Oh Kuribon, she kinda there cause she is female and keeps the others in line." patamon said.
" What am I going to do gatamon?" patamon said.
" Maybe you should talk to him." gatomon said.
"You think that would work?" patamon said.
" There no sense in not trying." gatamon said.
Both got up from the log there were sitting on and head to Takeru who was with all the Kuriboh.
