So I finally made rewrote the prologue! It actually wasn't as hard as I thought it would be! Still I'm not too sure about how good it is, at least it doesn't sound like it's written by a grade 7 anymore!

To my new readers Welcome! I hope you're here for the long haul (like I am. I can't get out of this no matter how hard I try)!

I do not own Vampire Knight it belongs to Matsuri Hino (sadly). IF I did own it then Zero would've killed Kaname with that butter knife ages ago. Gods I hate that guy. YAY for Kaname bashing!

Wish Upon a Star

Prologue

"It's no fun after the first 4 times," I complained, sighing as I put the book down next to the other nine paperbacks, "I seriously need something new!" Vampire Knight, as much as I loved it, had out grown its charm, each time I read it I began to find more and more plot holes or parts that I just generally didn't like. But still the world was nice and well thought out, mostly.

"Topaz! Dinner's ready," my mother called up the stairs.

"Coming," I said, walking down stairs and into the dining room, to my eternal bad luck it was at the exact moment that my little brothers burst out of the door way and right into me.

"Watch it you two!" I said my tail twitching.

"You were in our way!" Aiden said over Ryan's coughing.

"Get to the table you two!" our mother told the silver haired twins. I chuckled.

"You too young lady," my/our father ordered. I walked over.

"Good kitty," Aiden cooed. I hissed at him.

"No hissing at the dinner table!" Mum said. I through a glair at Aiden, my ears flat against my head then sat down.

After dinner I headed for a shower ( but showers are boring so let's skip to after that, K?). I gazed at the mirror. A girl with brown hair, green eyes and of course a pair of snowy cat's ears looked back at me. I tore my eyes away from her and put on my PJs. They had "Boop" scrawled across then in various places. I looked back the mirror, tapping my reflection's nose. "Boop!" I said and walked out of the room

Later that night I was sitting at my desk 'doing my homework', okay not really I was playing on my laptop. I glanced out the window where a single star was visible in the sky.

Lucky me, I thought, make a wish.

I remembered a childish rhyme I was taught in 1st grade:

"'Star light star bright

First star I see tonight

Wish I may, wish I might

Have this wish I wish tonight'

I wish that the Vampire Knight world was real." I said/sang.

I wonder if my wish will come true. I thought, chuckling to myself. I didn't even consider the hypothetical repercussions.

Little did I know.

I'm holding a title contest. The winner's title will be the title of the chapter and a shout-out for that chapter. It's open for the Prologue to so get title'n.

Seeing as this is an updated version I'd like to announce a new contest type of thing! It doesn't really have a name so I'll just tell you how to play. Throughout the chapters I'll hide some references or mentions to other anime/fandoms/or just random shit. The Answers will be at the end of the next chapter. Review with your answeres!
