The relationship was going too fast, the story wasn't quite as clear as I wished it to be, so! I'm changing some things. i PROMISE TO UPDATE EVERY 2 WEEKS. I swear, this times, I'll keep my promise...

ON WITH THE STORY.

Sakura Haruno. A rather peculiar girl with gem-like eyes which looked like the most penetrating orbs in existence, yet, they remained hidden. Behind thick glass, dulling them to the world, nothing special, just green, there was no vibrant tone to them when she wore her glasses. How would Sakura, a girl with nothing special in her be peculiar? Well there were two reasons for this adjective was used when describing her. First of all, she had pink hair. Not surprised? Well her pink hair was natural, which mean she had pink eyebrows, light brown freckles and pale (and quite sentitive) skin to go along with it, and secondly, she was the best friend of the two captains of the soccer team, Naruto Uzumaki and the ever so stoic Sasuke Uchiha.

To the world, Sakura was just the other girl. When hanging out with Sasuke or Naruto, she was just the quiet weirdo. But within her, hid a loud mouthed and explosive pinkette, she had so many things to say about the world, so much desire for a good intellectual debate, she wanted to free the world of injustice, yet, remained quiet when the world needed her to scream out. Instead, she decided to vent via the internet, on her blog, "Green-eyes . com ". She had started that page a few years back, and had gotten a very good response to her philosophical views and political wonders.

People from all over the world read what she had to say, agreed with her! It was amazing how so simple words, how unleashing her true self, had saved so many.

When she received messages, saying how she had saved people from suicide, stopped them from self harming, from destroying their lives, Sakura felt important, unlike in the real world, where she was barely noticed, where, she never fit in.

Sakura had always taken pride in her intelligence, where she lacked strength physically, she made up for mentally. Yet, she somehow felt empty, with her best friends, even by her side, she felt, lonely.

Why?

She searched, yearned, needed love, at her seventeen years of age, she had yet to completely fall in love, she had been crushing on Sasuke for a while when she was younger, come to think of it, it was quite foolish, thinking that a prodigy, the "avenger" as the school knew him for, would fall for a quiet mouse, with bright pink hair and lost green eyes. She had forgotten about that crush, even if she still felt her heart beat a little faster when they touched.

She knew it wasn't love.

But when she saw him, it was like time had stopped. All of the wind had been knocked out of her, him, his blue eyes, shinning with the sun and the contrast of his luscious golden locks. Sakura had to bite her inner cheek so her mouth didn't hang open. It wasn't like she was openly staring, but, he was gorgeous. A man who transcends gender, he would be gorgeous as a woman or a man.

Deidara Iwa, head of her student council, captain of the lacrosse team and the most wanted guy in school. He had been transferred from Iwagakure's school for boys, to Konohagakure's mixed high school. Her heart nearly stopped when their eyes met, faded jade meeting with bright cerulean, it was an instant clash, as if he meant to do that. At this, Sakura's legs felt weak, so she quickly cut the encounter short and walked away, she had biology next, and she wasn't going to be late.

Deidara didn't take too long to make the new school his territory, all the gangs in it, were immediately scared off by the ever so smallest details which indicated that he was part of the feared Akatsuki.

Of course, the girls just thought it was quite hot to have a bad boy in the school, Sasuke was the baddest they've had, but he was only deemed bad because he smoked. He was eighteen, it was the only bad habit the Uchiha had! Hang him!

Soon enough, Deidara caught a big fish, Karin Uzumaki, the sister of the leader of Sound's gang, it was a good alliance, he wasn't about to go and fuck it up. And so, in less than two months, Deidara and his partner reined the school. And Sakura's nightmare began.

She was green eyes, and she was in love.

Her luck was just the worst,

Falling in love with someone so out of her league, who constantly teased her, even when he was nowhere to be seen, he tortured her with his smiles, and when he offered her help, it was her doom.

And now, five months into a ongoing friendship with Deidara, people wondered, how was Sakura, a peculiar girl with pink hair, so special that she had the most wanted people in school as he best friends. She was just a nerd, a nerd from a small house, her mother was a lawyer and her father had passed a few years ago.

How did she end up as their friend?

And so people wondered…

Why her? Why not someone pretty and popular?

Someone like them?

The truth was, everyone needed a break.

Whether be from a sport, work, school, or a lifestyle, even, a break, from their façade.

Sakura was their break. She didn't judge them, how could she? When she was probably the person with most flaws in the world. She was imperfect, and they liked her for it. To get away from their perfect, stressed filled lives, they needed her. Someone who would listen, or just talk to for hours and hours.

But Deidara was different, he saw beauty where people saw flaws, there was an empty canvas in Sakura's eyes, he wanted to make her live her life to the fullest. He was going to make her love life, he would, he was Deidara after all, that was his specialty, making people smile, be reborn, was his favorite thing to do.

And he swore on Sasori's life, he would make Sakura genuinely smile, even if it was only once.
