A/N: Just something I wrote after the PLL episode last week! Hope you like it!

Lucas flailed in the dark waters until Hanna was out of sight, swimming for her life. When she was gone, he smiled, a bitter sweet smirk at having to deceive her like this.

He began calmly swimming in broad smooth strokes towards the meeting point. Lucas knew they'd be there. They were ALWAYS on time.

Emerging from the water dripping wet, he shook his curly hair out of his face to see a tall, ominous figure watching him take deep breaths.

"You know, it seems to take an awful lot of work to fool a couple of girls." He remarked at the unmoving figure. "You really work at what you do."

There was no response from the person dressed in black.

"But why torture THEM, though?" Lucas continued, oblivious to the figure creeping steadily closer. He wrung out his shirt disgustedly.

"After all, they're not Alison, they're her puppets. Still." Lucas finished, turning around and jumping at how close the deadly silent person had stalked towards him. He could almost feel their breath through the ski mask they were wearing.

"D-Do you still have the money for me to skip town?" Lucas asked, his voice unsure now. It almost cracked at the end. Almost.

For an answer, the figure held out a manila envelope. Lucas opened it eagerly, expecting to find five-hundred dollars that would be his escape money, but frowned when he saw there was only a note on ripped white paper inside. He reached a hand inside to see what it said, and it chilled him to the bone.

Oh Lucas,

Nice try, but I still can't stand loose ends.

The figure swung the heavy shovel they'd been hiding from him at Lucas's unsuspecting head, sending him crumpling to the muddy ground. Working fast, they grabbed some sturdy rope from their bag and double-knotted it first around Lucas's wrists, then his ankles. They grabbed four rocks, each with two hands, and added them to the mess of knots covering Lucas's limp body.

After adding some 'special' last-minute touches, the masked person dragged what didn't look like the boy it had been earlier into the murky waters. It rubbed its hands together as it watched Lucas sink below the waves, then it walked away without looking back once.

Below the surface, the body sunk lower, and lower. The only things that the figure had left as their mark were the industrial ropes, and a fading, red sharpie scrawled 'A' on Lucas's forehead.

Sorry if you like Lucas, i was pretty pissed at him after that episode! R&R please!

Don't hate, just read.
