~Nathan's POV~
I was walking around the Sirius when Captin' called all of us on to the main deck.
"Men this is Juliette. She's an old friend of mine and she's going to be staying here for a while." He said while smiling a bit at the woman with the odd hair.
"It's nice to meet all of you." She said while faking a smile.
I could tell it was fake, I've faked so many smiles before and this one's pretty obvious because it looks forced.
"If ye do mind me asking this but, How long will she be staying here?" Christopher asked.
"She'll be staying here for a few months, at least until everything cools down with her family." Captin' said before looking at 'Juliette' with a worried expression.
"It might be earlier than that though so don't worry, I won't be here for long. I'll try to not cause any trouble and help out while I'm here." She said while doing another fake smile.
"Well then...Welcome to the Sirius Juliette." Christopher said smiling at her.
"I'm going to go show Juliette her room." I said and Captin' nodded when 'Juliette' whispered something to him with a worried expression on her face.
"What's wrong now?" I asked with a sigh, completely annoyed by this woman already.
"It's just that...um...you kinda look like my friend's older brother..." 'Juliette' said before rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly and forcing a laugh.
"Whatever, anyways follow me." I said before walking to my room with her trailing behind me.
"So what's yer friend's name?" I asked and she looked at me confused before she sighed.
"I'm not going to say her name out of respect for her and for her privacy reasons but she goes by 'Rose'." She said while doing the air quotes with her fingers which made me roll my eyes.
"So what's yer friend's brother's name?" I asked with a sigh knowing I wouldn't hear the rest of this if I didn't keep asking her questions.
"Her brother's name is Nathan." She said with a sigh which shocked me.
It's a common name so I shouldn't worry about it. I thought with a sigh remembering my little sister.
She has had some problems with her mental health in the past and just the thought of hearing from her makes me excited and sad.
"What's wrong?" She asked and I sighed.
"Well, I was just thinking about my little sister...I haven't heard from her since I joined the Sirius...for safety reasons." I explained and she nodded.
I opened my room's door and saw how messy it was.
"Ignore the mess. If I would have known we where going to have someone new on the ship I would have tried to clean..." I trailed off with a shrug.
"It's alright. I'm not the greatest at keeping things clean either so it'll kinda be like being at home to me." She said while forcing another smile.
"Drop the fake happiness act, Juliette. Explain to me what's wrong so we can go get the rest of the crew and beat this person up." I said and she shook her head and laughed to herself.
"It's alright, Nathan. You shouldn't be so worried about me." She said while rolling her eyes at the word worried.
"Whatever, get settled in and I'll see ye at dinner at 5." I told her before walking out and shutting the door behind me.
I heard a sigh come from my room and her mumble a few things but I didn't pay attention.
Hopefully she won't be to much of a pain...
